Bone Dry Roofing & Masonry - Cincinnati

We had Bone Dry replace the siding on our home after having a fantastic experience with them when they replaced our roof. The workers showed up and started to remove the siding. After a few days, it became evident that this crew was not showing up on time or completing the work as stipulated by the manufacturer. I contacted the company supervisors numerous times to review the work of the crew. After many requests, they arrived and saw that many sections of the siding were not finished correctly and had to redo it. They left the same crew here to continue. The work continued periodically over the next 3 months. After many emails, phone calls to supervisors and the company president (who never responded), we finally got a different crew to our house to complete the job. There are numerous areas of the caulking and siding that look very poor, especially on the front of the house.

They are very professional. He was extremely pleasant, he spend about 45 minutes to 1 hour inspecting my roof and he taking pictures. He gave an estimate to replace the roof, but he said I didn't need it at that time. Put protective covering on his shoes before he came inside my home.

They did a great job and were done in a day. We still are finding nails and fragments of tar paper in and around the house, so I wish they would have done a more thorough job screening the exterior for debris after the job was completed.

They were professional and completed the work to my satisfaction. I did not get a comparative price, so I do not know if the price was good or not. It felt a bit high to me but I was more interested in quality than cost.

When we picked our option they set it up within a week for them to come repair my roof and they did a fantastic job. They explained everything to me and made us feel very comfortable.

Bone Dry did an excellent job. The crew members were very careful not to disturb the surrounding area, the bushes, etc. They worked very efficiently and had the new roof completed in one day. The supervisor did a walk through when the job was completed to make sure we were satisifed with all of the work that was done. i would definitely use Bond Dry Roofing again.

We needed our chimney cap repaired and called Bone Dry Masonry of Cincinnati . They came to the house and repaired the chimney cap. They did a good job.

Basically addressed the leaks, did the flashing, and were very good at what they did. And they came back for a follow up.

I originally sent an email to several local roofers who had A or nearly all A ratings and who had done work close to my home. Bone Dry (Connie) contacted me a few days later (4-22-13) and scheduled an inspection for 5-1-13. Drew from Bone-Dry arrived in the morning and knocked on my door, introducing himself and talking through the inspection steps. After the inspection of my roof, which took about an hour to measure and write up the estimate, we talked for another 20 minutes going over the materials and work approach, as well as chatting about non-roofing stuff. Drew was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. I called Bone Dry on 5-13 to confirm the color of the shingles I wanted and on 5-16 I received an email with the approval form which I signed and faxed back. On 5-29-13, the roofing material was placed in my drive-way and on 5-30, the "crew" showed up to begin work around 8(?). The supervisor, Dennis, chatted with me about the work that was being done and how long it would take. We talked about the protection of the house; they placed plywood over my sliding glass door and external a/c unit, and related items. The crew consisted of about a dozen men who moved about on my roof with practiced ease and immediately began removing the roofing material. While most were on the roof tearing stuff off and then hauling materials back up, there were a few constantly moving about the perimeter making sure materials were falling off and keeping the area clean. The whole job took about 4 to 5 hrs and once complete, they used a blower on the roof and magnets around the property to clean up nails. One of the lead roofers must have noticed something wasn't done right the first time, because he spent another 15 minutes tearing off and replacing a few feet of material himself. Dennis pointed out the quality they require and I was impressed. Overall, they did a great job and I appreciate the effort. I'll recommend Bone-Dry in the future to my friends and family.

I met with Drew from Bone Dry Roofing to get an estimate for my roof/gutter replacement. Drew was very professional and knowledgeable and even though I decided to go with a different company I would recommend anyone to get an estimate from Bone Dry Roofing and I will consider them for any other needs I have in the future.

They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would, for the estimate they provided. As far as I can tell they did a good job. It was a bit more expensive than I hoped for but I don't have much experience in roof repair costs so I can't really gauge that - I would definitely use them again if need be.

They fixed everything outlined in the estimate for the price they quoted.

My experience with Bone Dry Roofing was excellent. They were efficient, managed the process as they said they would. They outlined what steps were needed and they were present when they said they were gonna be present. I would highly recommend them to other members.

We originally called Bone Dry, which had been highly recommended by a friend, for an estimate on a new roof. It was a close call but we chose someone else also highly recommended by another friend. Impressed by Bone Dry during estimate, they were our first choice when we had gutters blow down after a windstorm last year.

I have not gone ahead with the work yet but I intend to. I was very impressed with them. The reason I called them in the first place was because of Angie's list. They were very professional. I intend to use them. The explained well. The man that I met with was very professional, he explained to me why the hand hammer the roof. I just got a good feeling about them. They said all the right comments and made me feel at ease. The price was very appropriate.

They came and fixed the shingles and took pictures of it that we wanted them to email us. They emailed it after we called a few times. My husband the work didnt look very neat but they said that it was done the way it was supposed to be done! The roofer who came to fix it was on time and very friendly.

Excellent....this was the third masonry/chimney company I've used over the past 8 years. The others were not good at all and sold stoves, etc. too....maybe chimney work was their sideline. Avoid them. This company did all they promised and more. I know professional work when I see it!

I had a fantastic experience with them. I only asked them to come out and do one thing but they actually noticed other issues and gave me a really great price. They cleaned my gutters for free. I actually had a few estimates and they definitely priced the best by far. They were absolutely the most knowledgeable as well.

If you check back you will find this is the 3rd time I have used Bone Dry. The first was 8-9 years ago for roofing and they were perfection. 2 years ago I used them for gutters and extensive trim wrap and we experienced nightmare elements of what could go wrong on a job. I thought to give one more try and the third time was less than a charm. I specifically went through all of my concerns with John our salesman from Bone Dry for this extensive garage wrap. Main concerns: timely preparation and delivery of materials, their top crew to do this extensive garage wrap, and a supervisor on site to assure all went smooth. The crew arrived as scheduled from Indianapolis on a Thursday and began to case windows and doors. This early activity was followed by the announcement that the supply truck carrying the siding had broken down and I would be called to reschedule remaining install. It was curious to me during a call with our salesman that while the crew would be working the weekend, we would not be scheduled for our job to be finished but they would be headed to Louisville instead. Bummer that my job was less important to complete! The following week the crew showed up and went to work this time with siding. Unfortunately when the job was ~2/3rds finished we were informed that materials had been measured improperly and were were short by a considerable amount for getting the job finished. The site supervisor said that a "step" had been skipped keeping him out of the loop during the measuring process so we would need to halt the work again. A couple days later the supervisor drove to Kentucky to pick up siding, the work started again and was completed. From a craftsmanship point of view the work was very well done. The crew was efficient, polite and cleaned up very well. I am not sure why the best crew would need to come all the way from Indianapolis for a Cincinnati job but I have had repeated discussions that Bone Dry is trying to effectively get their siding/exteriors business running well, perhaps this takes time to develop local crews? I have talked with many of the principals of Bone Dry and feel they have intent to run a great exteriors business, but their preparation and scheduling- the part consumers experience, has been a "C" level or below. In retrospect I had a competing bid from a vendor that used his own local team and if the same opportunity arose in the future I would use an alternate vendor to Bone Dry.

They were very nice and it went well. They did an excellent job and it was fine.

It was a good experience. The price was reasonable. They cleaned up really really well and then they threw with the magnet to make sure they picked up all of their nail, and by hammer, the nail, the roof and by hand rather than using a nail gun. I would use them again.

Problems were solved in timely manner.

Basically, never trust a roofer whose feet never leave the ground. A guy who is relying on satellite photos for a quote is a guy not willing to get his hands dirty. It didn't surprise me that he never quoted for the roof repair. That would have taken effort.

They were very good. They were on time, delivered as promised. I would use them again. I have recommended them to others.

Jim from Bone-Dry stopped by our home and made a presentation that was very clear and concise. We selected Bone-Dry because of their no-nonsense, direct & no pressure approach. They did a great job and cleaned-up beautifully. We are very pleased with their service.
