They did an excellent job. They were prompt and communicative with all that they did. Some of the paint dripped onto the roofing material, but they matched the shingles and repaired the mistake. I would definitely use them again.

John Hansen came to the house on August l5th. He was very professional, climbed on the roof and took pictures for me to see what was going on. He was my second quote and his price and what he said would be done was better than the first company. So I hired him based on what he said. He said it would be a three hour job and would require one man. On August 27th he sent out three men along with the man that he said would do it. I sent them away because he said it was a one man job and the three men they brought to my house made me feel very uncomfortable. So on September 18th the man who had come with the other three men did the work. I asked him to take pictures when he was done. The tuck point looks very sloppy so I just hope it holds up over the years. The chimney cap they installed is okay. I had John Hansen come back out after the job was done to take more pictures and to show him what had be done, but he said it was fine. Also the job only took one hour so I feel I was charged two hours too much.

Bone Dry Masonry went above and beyond the call of duty. I'm a first-time homeowner, and have relied heavily on reviews found on Angie's List. Bone Dry Masonry had a few questionable reviews, but I called them anyway since the vast majority of reviews were very positive. I'm siding with the positive reviews! John came out to give me an initial estimate. He climbed on the roof, and took many detailed pictures of my chimney, showing me issues I couldn't have possibly seen from the ground. After comparing a few other quotes, Bone Dry Masonry's was the most reasonable. I signed the estimate, and we scheduled a date. Scheduling was a little tricky; they had to cancel the first date had to be rescheduled due to a family issue. I requested a cancellation on the second date due to bad weather. The third date was a charm, and Tim the mason was here on time. He very patiently answered my questions. He also did a lot more work on my chimney than was quoted, for no extra charge. As a new homeowner, I appreciate that! Tim was polite, neat, and very courteous. John stopped by my house the next day, by my request, to follow up and check out the work done. I couldn't be any happier with the work done by Bone Dry Masonry. I highly recommend them!
Description of Work: Bone Dry Masonry replaced more than 200 mortar joints in my chimney, which was leaking into my living room causing plaster damage.

.Bone Dry Roofing is an exceptional company. They came out quickly to look at leak and evaluate my roof for me. They did were very honest in their evaluation and although my roof is on the older side, determined that it was still in very good shape and had quite a few years left on it. The leak just turned out to be waterproofing around a vent. They gave me a quote on the spot and the price was very fair. That week a crew came out to do the work. The crew was extremely professional and personable. I highly recommend this company. Most important is that you can trust their evaluation and work.

The sales rep showed up on time, analyzed the problem and provided a quote. Provided a time frame for getting the work done. The work was executed the following week as promised. The technician installed the new sky light and identified a leak in addition to the one we knew. He repaired the second leak with no additional charge. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to call Bone Dry if I need the services they provide. Nice Folks!

The company was very responsive, punctual, polite and professional. The appointment was scheduled very quickly, they were on time and very knowledgable. The main reason we didn't go with this company was the price. They recommended replacing a much larger number of bricks then we felt necessary, and another company agreed with us. We would definitely contact them again for other work and other bids.

We were referred to this company by a friend when we were looking for a new roof. We got 3 estimates. Bone Dry and 1 other company had similar bids while the 3rd was far off the other 2. The sales rep that came to do the estimate was very professional, polite and not sales pitchy at all. We chose this company over the other because they offered siding cleaning. Also, they had a larger crew which meant less time working on the home. They estimated it would take 2/3 of 1 day but they showed up the day of service with an extra crew (at least 20 people) and finished in just a few hours. This was great as I have young children at home and replacing a roof is very loud! Overall, great service. We have not had any issues at all with the quality of work!!

We had a leak in the roof and they found possible issues with some areas of our roof including suspect step flashing that they recommended that we replace. They fixed all of the issues we discussed and to this point we have not noticed any leak since. We had a potential low spot that they fixed with a larger shingle(self adhered modified) but it's color is way off compared to the other shingles used to replaced damaged shingles. Good thing is that it is not visible from the ground or street but it may come back as an issue if we sell the house. The other issue is that I would have liked to have been home during the repair but they gave me no lead time for the repair, they called me around 8:45am to tell me they were going to be there in an hour, this was about a week after the estimate was accepted and I could not get off work. I suggest that you ask for greater notice if you wish to be home for the repair. I am happy that the leak(s) are addressed so overall I think it was a positive interaction.

They were very prompt and came out to see me in two very shiny new red pickup trucks with their logo on them. They looked very professional and successful. I requested an estimate from them because the current contractors I was using were not showing up every day and were dragging the job out. Bone Dry seemed very competent and professional. I received an estimate very promptly from them. However, I felt the estimate was high. It was for $13,000+. My existing contractors finished the job up for approximately $1,500 and I gave them a bonus to finish. I am happy with the job the existing contractors done. I do not know why such the disparity in price except that the existing contractors did not have the same overhead, company trucks and uniforms that Bone Dry had. Also, their was a price to pay for the cheaper price. They really stalled the job out so I am not in a position to judge why the higher price. I was happy with everything about Bone Dry except for their high estimate.

Bone Dry Roofing replaced my roof and did chimney repairs and capping several years ago and I was very pleased with their services then. I wanted to upgrade the guards on my gutters, because the ones i had didn't keep small leaves and other tree debris out of them. The new guards are very nice and were well installed. The installer completed the job while I was at work and cleaned up all of the installation debris.

The Bone Dry roofing rep was right on time for our meeting although I was a couple of minutes late meeting him because I had to leave work to meet him. The rep called me and asked for permission to begin the exterior inspection before I arrived and I agreed. After I arrived, the rep went over the area in question with me and advised that there were no visible areas on the roof that had a problem. I expressed concern about the winter months, because the previous owner advised me that she had problems with water freezing and thawing on the roof over the past few years and then a leak into the second floor. He said he could give me a quote to replace the roofing on the area in question, but it could cost 2-3 thousand dollars given the situation. He advised that I have the gutters cleaned, and continue monitoring the situation, but not do all the extra work at this point since there was no sign of leaking at this time. I was pleased with the honesty regarding the situation and will be sure to use Bone Dry Roofing when it becomes time to replace the roof in the next few years.

When they showed up for an estimate quote they were on time and very professional and brought samples, unlike another company that had given me a quote. They took their time and helped me pick the proper color and gave me addresses on houses with the roof I had chosen if I wanted to take a look. I was told it would take one day to fit, they were there right on time, protected my plants/bushes removed two layers of shingles and had the new one on in approx. 5 hours. The roof looks great and I would highly recommend them. I will certainly use them again for any future repairs I may need.

It wasn't great. They replaced the sheeting underneath. It was something that they didn't discover during the inspection or during the estimate. It was significantly more than what we expected. Scheduling was kind of difficult but that was on my end. I had some other work done at my house. The original estimate was higher than the other estimates that we got. The roofing itself, they did a really good job. I'm really happy with the roof. There's a couple of things around as well as the deal in the end. It didn't go well in the end. The roof itself, I'm really happy so far with the quality of the roof. I would possibly use them in the future.

John was completely professional in giving his opinion that the house should be left alone and advised that the work did not need to be done. He said as an aliternative if we were really worried about it the brick could be sealed. We had another contractor quote $4000.00 for the weep hole remediation and never offer another alternative or mention that the work is somewhat of a risk to have completed. John said it is not worth the risk of puncturing the membrane or current flashing that is in place. I really appreciated his honesty as he could have done like the other contractor.
Description of Work: Called the office and Brenda scheduled an appointment for me and said John Hanson would be looking at the job. John came out as promised to quote weep hole remediation on a home that a whole house inspector had identified as defective.

The company sent a person to our home and provided a well detailed plan for repair of the sidewalk. He gave us several options. We elected to have two of the four options completed immediately. The work performed was; reset loose bricks, replace stone step near back door and clean and seal patio and entire walkway. The young man who performed the work evidently had been trained well as the work was very good. He was careful not to damage the landscaping and cleaned up after completing the work. The original stone that was provided for the back door was not acceptable so it was returned and another one ordered. The company then sent the same person to completed that installation. Again, it was completed professionally

I had some leaking inside my house around my windows that was creating bubbling in the plaster and leaking from the ceiling. I had tried to contact multiple masonry companies for a free quote, none gave me a return call. Once I got on angies list, i found bone dry so i called up to set up an appointment, 2 days later a manager and the masonry guy were out for 10-20 minutes to look at everything. Very professional, had a estimate the next day, a week later, they came out and knocked the job out in 45 minutes! They even cleaned up all the brick dust that was dropped due to the grinding. Even though my house is painted, i can barely tell that there is new mortar in the joints but i watched him do it all. I thought this project was going to run in the 1,000's but they did it at a more reasonable price and their work even has a warranty on it. I would definitely use them again.

Bonedry removed my existing roof which consisted of 3 roofs including the bottom roof which was shake shingle. This was an extensive job especially with the shake shingle which may have been the original roof from 1941 when the house was built. It was also a steep roof which is usual in my part of town with older homes. The estimator, Drew, came out twice, once to give the estimate and a second time to help me compare it to another quote. I decided to go with Bonedry because the other closest bid was going to subcontract the job and I liked some of the aspects of replacing the roof including lack of metal flashing that shows on the roof lines. Also, it was obvious that they were very professional in contracting and explaining expectations. Another major plus was the short length for completion of 2-3 days for all roofing and gutters. A large crew of 10-12 men with a foreman, Cody, showed up on Tuesday after Labor Day and worked from sun up to sundown to complete the job. They did a good job of protecting the house, deck and yard from debris, of which there was a lot. They also removed all nails and left some additional asphalt shingles in case of future replacement. The gutter was almost a perfect match to the color of the house which was not easy. They also replaced some flashing around a couple of windows and painted to match the house. All in all an excellent job and the house looks very updated with the new roof and gutters .Cody, Drew and other representatives from Bonedry were very responsive, professional and personable. I am very pleased.

Randy and crew arrived on time and went to work immediately. The first job was to measure, cut, and install, channel rustic cedar siding on two ends of a large dormer and 12/12 pitch roof. This involved a lot of fitting as the top has a 4/12 pitch and the bottom a 12/12 pitch. Naturally, the roof is not exactly 12/12 or 4/12 so each piece had to be measured, cut and then installed. Randy, crew leader, and Edwin, did a very nice job and accommodated me on sealing the ends of the cuts with solid stain before installing them. I had bought the cedar ahead of time so I could stain it and let it dry before installation. The next phase was removing the old gutters, downspouts and fascia trim. I had requested that the old gutters be taken down intact (54 ft. in length), so they could be reused on my barn. The crew did this with no problem. A larger crew, led by Steve arrived to help with the removal and installation of new trim and some of the spouting, which was done expeditiously. When that was completed, the crews left as it was getting late, and Randy and Jason returned the next AM to complete the installation of the high gutters, rake trim and install the gutter guard. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and very quality conscious. The completed job added the finishing touch to the house that I was expecting and looks very beautiful. This was not a simple job as there are several roof levels and large dormers as well as 12/12 pitch roof in 4 areas. I want to thank the entire crew, but especially Randy for a job very well done. I would definitely have them do work for me again.

Bone Dry's estimator, Keith, is a very personable and knowledgeable guy whose experience, thoroughness, and in depth knowledge, actually made the difference between Bone Dry and another close competitor. Keith stayed in touch throughout the job to ensure my needs were met. The Bone Dry crew came on time on the day appointed and immediately got to work. Materials were delivered on site the day before as planned. They brought a dump trailer and placed as much tear-off material in it as possible. I was impressed with the care taken to carry the material to the dumpster and drop it in, rather than just shovel it off the roof. I did observe a short cut and a little careless attention to detail on one end of the 12/12 pitch roof when installing underlayment. I pointed this out to the Bone Dry Supervisor on site who had to leave several times to get added material and replace a broken tool. Between he and his immediate boss, Carl, all things were corrected to my satisfaction without any issue. Abraham, the crew leader, responded and made sure similar areas were done as I requested. Bone dry is a very easy company to work with and are very concerned with doing a quality job and satisfying the customer. Mistakes can happen on a job this large, but this company responded quickly and followed up with a senior supervisor to ensure it would not happen again. Due to the size and complexity of the job (cedar siding had to be removed and replaced to install underlayment and flashing properly), and a large pole building, it took added hours on a second day to complete, as planned. Cleanup was thorough, the srcap trailer was hauled away when the crew left, and a thouough sweep for nails was done several times. Overall, the crew was very pleasant to work with and the job looks beautiful and really enhances the look of the house. I would definitely have them on a job again.
Description of Work: Bone Dry Roofing did a complete tear off of old roofing on my house and a metal pole building and reinstalled new underlayment, shingles, drip edge and gutter apron. Total shingles came to 45 square, or 135 bundles.

I used Bone Dry in the past to replace the shingles on my roof and was quite pleased with their work, so I called them when I needed new gutters. They came out and gave me an estimate which I thought was very good. I contacted the office to set up an appointment to install the gutters, and they said they would try to accommodate my work schedule, and they did. They came out in the morning of the job with a crew of 5 or 6 men and they tore out the old gutters and downspouts, and replaced them all before lunchtime. They cleaned up and left nothing behind. The new gutters look great! Still have not had a really hard rain when I was home to check out the gutters, but I am sure that if there is any problem, BoneDry will stand behind their work.
