In August of 2012, I called bone dry for an estimate on the roof on my house. I was not a member of Angie's list at the time, I had my daughter look up different contractors for me. I called them and they responded very quickly to my call. I liked that they didn't use the bait and closure tact, where one person comes in and pitches the sale, then another comes in to close the deal. The person i talked to at my house was the one that closed the deal, and the one that over-saw the roof being put on. I liked that the job only took 1 day to complete. I am just now joining Angie"s list, my roof has been on for about a year and a half. No problems or leaks. I think Bone dry is a fine company, and i will be using them again.

Everything worked out pretty well with them. They were pretty quick to get the job done. They made sure that everything was right. The wall backing wasn't right but they didn't do the wall backing but they came out to replace the wall backing so that their siding will lay flat and they did that with no charge. Their intent was to make sure that I was happy with the job. The quality of work was exceptional. It looks pretty good. All in all, it looks like a great job. All in all, they were pretty good. There was a little bit of confusion initially on delivering parts and I talked to the guy and all in all, it was exceptional and they went above and beyond what was expected so it's a pretty good experience. I've recommended them to my daughter and to my parents. They worked with me on pricing. They were the highest regarding the quote initially but they came down and they were the most attractive plus they had the Angie's List coupon. The pricing is pretty much par for the course. The workers were here early and stayed late and they worked Saturdays and it was the hottest part of the summer. I didn't have any issues with professionalism. There were some questions with the billing and I think it all could have been avoided had they done better upfront work but they sorted it out and in the end, it didn't go beyond the quoted price and they were pleasant about working through it.

The company provided and installed a stainless steel chimney cap for a smaller type chimney. I have had no problems with their work. The first cap they brought out did not fit right so they took it back, reordered the correct size and type, and returned again to install it. I bought their promotional coupon for this product and service and I am well pleased.

The side of a cement step had fallen away and needed to be reset and filled in with mortar. It was a minor repair that their coupon was perfectly suited for. They did a professional job of estimating the required solution to the problem and send a worker who did a good job. I will use them again for future cement pointing and roofing problems.

The estimator was prompt, knowledgeable and very professional. He was able to write up an estimate on the spot so there was no need to wait a day or two to get it. We ended up choosing someone else to do the work whose bid was lower and also had excellent ratings.

Bone Dry did an excellent job. The crew arrived and had our old shingles removed within an hour. The installation was completed before my wife came home from work, and the crew cleaned up well following the work. Shutter installation was a few days later. We've had the new roof installed for over a year and a half now and couldn't be happier with the results. This was one of our first hires using Angie's list and still stands out as one of our best experiences beginning to end. We waited over a year to file our review because we wanted to make sure we knew the quality lasted. How could we know without waiting through two pretty rough winters how our roof was holding up? We requested a competitive bid with two other companies, so we know we had a decent price. The biggest difference was that Bone Dry was able to accomplish in 1 day what the other companies quoted as a 2 day job. Excellent work.

Redid a patch on a minor foundation crack.

Scheduling of our repair was a challenge due to weather and roof access from snow. I was contacted several times to set a date, which was delayed a couple of times due to recent snow or rain. Once scheduled and confirmed, they arrived, completed the work quickly and left debris or garbage. The repair appears to have resolved our leak as we have not had any problems. I would highly recommend Bone Dry Roofing for any roof repair or replacement.

Rodney Calhoun fully explained the work that needed to be done and how it would solve the problem. He showed me pictures of the insulation in my attic and where there was ice in the attic. Rodney was on site throughout the work. They arrived on time and cleaned up when the work was done.

Josh was prompt, friendly, and professional. He was completely thorough in inspecting my roof, and made all needed repairs. I would highly recommend Bone Dry to any one else.

They inspected, partially dismantled and re-built chimney and added crown and cap which had not been part of original construction. Best bid out of 3 competitive bids. Very punctual for original meeting/ bid and actual work date. Professional and courteous sales and labor teams.

Everything about working with this company was pleasant. They were prompt and professional. We would highly recommend them.

They repaired (after inspecting entire 1st story) all cracks, replaced 2 broken bricks, and cemented 1 large crack. All work was satisfactory (read GOOD) and it (the work) was good enough to interest my next-door neighbor in having them do some major work for him.

John Hanson came to our house for the original quote. He was the only company I contacted that got on the roof for the inspection. The crew came a few weeks later to do the job. The job they did was so bad, all of the joints were sloppy and mortar was all over the bricks.None of the crew is english speeking so you can't talk to them. I called John Hanson and when he came he agreed the job was very poorly done. He said the crew was out on another jobs and couldn't come for a few weeks. Please note that the crew they use is subcontracted and don't work for Bone Dry. When the crew came they reground the joints and tuckpointed the joints. The job was better but still sloppy and mortar was still on the bricks. and they never did the chimney sealing per the quote. I again called John and he took pictures to send to his crew leader . This time he sent a crew leader to clean up the mortar joints. acid wash the bricks, and to seal the chimney as quoted. The job is still not exactly correct, there is still mortar on the bricks and some of the joints look bad. I'm just sick of dealing with these folks so I'm calling the job finished. John Hanson is great to deal with but the work that the subcontractors do is very very bad. I would never even consider this company again.

The first time, it was not repaired correctly. The supervisor came out with his crew and personally inspected and repaired. They apologized profusely and made sure I was happy with the fix.

had a disagreement about work that could be done. What I wanted he said was not masonry. Said he did other work but wouldn't agree to do it.

Bone dry replaced aluminum fascia board covers over my garage that had blown off during wind storm. The gentleman arrived with the new covers pre-measured and cut, so the process was seamless. He cleaned up all waste and also nailed down some siding that was starting to come loose. I was a little disappointed that there was a minimum trip charge, as I spent more than I had planned, but I would use bone dry again. Very pleased with the quality of the work.

We had an active leak in our roof. Bone dry made a point to schedule the replacement quicker than originally stated. They sent 2 crews out on a Monday morning and were completely finished with the project by mid-afternoon the same day which included having to run to the lumber yard because we had 3 boards that needed replacing. They charge extra per board but that fee is nominal. Our roof was approximately 2500 square feet ... I think that is how it is measured. Most of the roof deals out there for a complete roof for $6000 are based on a 2000 square foot roof. Bone Dry was not our cheapest estimate but they were able to get the work done about 3 weeks faster than other companies we spoke with. They are very professional from start to finish from the person who answers the phone to the estimater to the workers that come to the job sight. From the clean up afterwards, you would not have known that we had had any work done on our house that day. We went with the flat shingle not the popular dimensional shingle because it saved us a few hundred dollars but we still think it looks beautiful. These shingles have a 25 year warranty and that is plenty long!

Had two estimates provided by two seperate Bone Dry employees (due to a relapse in the initial quote). Both times, I was quoted for a new lining on the box gutter and replacement of bead board underneath gutter. Both times the estimates were reasonable compared to other quotes so we approved the bid. It took 1 month between approving bid till I was even scheduled (even though I was told it would take 2 weeks). When worker finally came to work on gutter, I was called and told that the initial two estimates done by two different employees were wrong and that they had to replace the entire roof leading up to the box gutter. The new estimate was TWICE the original two quotes. When I called expressing my displeasure in actually getting on the schedule (after numerous phone calls to the office and re-assurance that someone would get back to me within the week) and the fact that the new quote was double the two previous, the only response that I got from the manager was that he was sorry. I ended up canceling the repair. I'm extremely disappointed in this company after the numerous positive reviews that were given by other coworkers.

We very recently had a porch added to our existing deck. During the recent storm (November 20, 2013) we had a lot of water cascading down the new porch roof and flowing onto our family room windows. We felt that maybe the downspout from the upper roof onto the porch roof was a poor design. I decided to call Bone Dry, because we were very happy with the new roof they installed here four years ago. I was told that Josh would come out at 10 on Wednesday. That's exactly when he knocked on our door. I told him of our concerns, and he listened patiently. He then got his ladder and examined the roof, gutters, and downspouts. After his examination, he told me that everything looked good. The roof and gutters on the new porch roof were fine. He suggested that we think about using a gutter guard system which would replace the screens we now have, because screens tend to become clogged with leaves and maple seeds. I also mentioned that maybe we should consider a 6" gutter to replace the 5" gutter we have. What Josh recommended, however, was to wait and see if we experience any further gutter overflow on our windows. He reminded me of how unusual the amount of rain and wind we had with the recent storm. What I found impressive was that in addition to his professional and friendly demeanor, he did not try to sell us a gutter guard system, or new gutters now. If we end up needing new gutters or gutter guards, I know I'll be calling Bone Dry to do the job.
