Bone Dry Roofing & Masonry - Cincinnati

After our first contact, They came very quick to give us an estimate. Since we live out side of Cincinnati, there were not many companies come this far. The man who gave us an estimate said he was also a roofer himself, not just sales, and identified the problem right away. It was a bit more than what we expect, but cannot compare since they were the only company where we get an official estimate for. we scheduled for the repair, and they came and fixed right away. after a month or so, the leak seems to be stopped and we are very happy with the result.

Bone Dry Roofing was very prompt and professional in responding to my initial request for an estimate. I called several companies the same day and they were the first ones to respond. One company got back to me three weeks later and a couple never did return my calls. Anyway, Pat came out to the house a couple of days later to measure and inspect the roof. We discussed in some detail what needed done and in another couple of days I had a very detailed estimate written up for the work. After reviewing a couple of other estimates, I noticed that Pat's measurements were a bit on the high side, but after exchanging a couple of emails, he was quick to make an adjustment and provide an updated estimate. They didn't have the lowest price out there, but it was not out of line. After reviewing my options, I decided that I liked their thoroughness and professionalism and hired Bone Dry to do the work. I signed the contract and received a call the next day to schedule the work. A week later, work began. They sent out a crew of fifteen people and after a quick review with the job supervisor, Cody, they started tearing off the old roof. They put tarps and boards all around the house to protect flowerbeds and windows. With this big of a job, there is an expectation that there will be some minor damage to bushes, plants, etc. There were some broken branches and one unfortunate rose bush that didn't survive, but nothing major or unexpected. When Pat came back for the final walkthrough, he even brought a new rose bush, which is definitely going above and beyond the call of duty! The job was more than 90% finished at the end of the first day. They would have completed it but for the fact that they were a couple of packs short on the shingles for the ridges. The next day, a small crew of four or five people showed up in the morning. While they waited for Cody to get there with the supplies, the crew went over the yard with the nail magnet a couple more times and they picked up any left over debris from the day before. Once the supplies arrived, they got right to work and finished up pretty quickly. The gutter work was performed by a different crew and was scheduled several days later. All of the work was professionally done and everything was cleaned up very well. I have only found a couple of roofing nails since the job and that is because they were buried in the shrubs. A few days after the gutter work was finished, I met with Pat again for a final walkthrough. He inspected the roof to ensure that all the work had been done correctly. I pointed out a couple of very minor concerns, which he immediately addressed. Then, of course, was the most painful part of the job -- writing the check. I give Bone Dry extra points for the fact that they didn't ask for any payment until the job had been completed. To summarize, Bone Dry did great work and, even though it was an expensive job, I think it was a good value and the work was definitely high quality. I highly recommend this company.

Scheduled quickly. Did not follow instructions to cover green house before starting so they had to contract and pay for loss repair. Didn't expect payment until loss was repaired and I was satisfied with all work. Cleaned up reasonably. Didn't protect all landscape so I got $100 off for damage.

In the end we went with another roofer based on price, We would Definitely contact this company again for future work, they were Quick, Professional, and Very Responsive.

Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Bone Dry. They have won many Angie's List awards, and I can see why. We had initially called three companies for quotes, and Bone Dry's customer service, quality, and affordability stood out from all the others. From the first time I met Pat, he was helpful and informational. He explained the whole process, and gave us numerous choices. He helped me to understand the difference between various options, and why I would want to consider each one. The roof was replaced in one day. They brought a crew of about 8 guys. The supervisor, Cody, was excellent to work with, and the whole team was professional, courteous, and quick. Cody stayed in close communication with me throughout the process. They did a full tear off of two layers of shingles, and also replaced about 1/3 of our plywood due to warping. They also blew in attic insulation to bring us up to an R38 level. Our decks and landscaping were all protected by tarps. I was thoroughly impressed by their cleanup as well. When they pulled out of the driveway, I wouldn't have known anyone had been here if it weren't for the beautiful new roof! The whole roof replacement took just one day. The gutter crew came a week later. This group was sub-contracted through Bone Dry, but was all part of my single contract with Bone Dry, which was convenient for me. The new gutters and Leaf Relief guards look great. There were about 6 or 7 guys on the gutter crew. The gutter crew did happen to damage a few of our new shingles, which I didn't notice until they left. I contacted the Bone Dry office right away, and they had Cody out to our house within an hour! He was quick to fix the damaged shingle. Great customer service, and great work! Highly recommend Bone Dry Roofing to anyone.

The job went perfect. Everything went okay. There were no problems. They cleaned up after themselves when they got done with the work. I got what I paid for. I'm not delighted but I'm not disappointed. It was a good experience.

.Satisfied with the job that was done. Chose them because of their pricing, results are working pretty well. Had to reschedule once but they were fine afterwards.

Read the other review I posted some time back about this... Angie's List keeps prompting me to leave a review and support has been unable to make this go away.

We didn't have a very good experience with them. Because of the problems that we had with them, they did our roof once and didn't do it right so they had to come back and redo it. Some of the people, the office staff, were very helpful, very attentive and professional. The roofers themselves I would say otherwise, they were not.

From the moment I called them they were on the job and guided me to how the roof should be taken care. The sky lights I had before were the wrong size and the roof was leaking. As soon as I called they sent someone out immediately. They ordered 8 custom skylights and everyone in the neighborhood was in awe of how beautiful they are. They were careful with flower beds and the antique piano inside. They put plywood on the glass doors to prevent them from breaking. They did everything I could have hoped for in a company. They were perfect from the top down.

They arrived on time, they did a good job with the repairs, and the price was reasonable considering the scope of the work. Ultimately, I was very pleased with what they did.

I contacted Bone Dry and they were at my house within two hours. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were on my icy, snowy roof for almost three hours to fix the gutter. The leak inside my home stopped within an hour of them being there. Between their professionalism, friendliness, and most importantly their competence as roofers, I will never use another company. And did I mention all of this happened on a Sunday (in the middle of a winter storm?). Bone Dry Roofing is amazing. Use them!

They were good to work with. They did a neat job and they were honest with us. I liked their follow up. The owner came by and made sure the work was done correctly.

It was fine. One of the guys came out. I showed them what I wanted done. Within a couple weeks, I came home from work and it was done. It was easy, convenient, and I didn't have to go to a lot of people for estimates.

They did a lousy job. We had a special project that we wanted done, and they didn't follow instructions, they didn't call ahead, and they came out and did something that was bad. I was not happy. I would never refer them to anybody. We had bought it specifically for this project, and they didn't call to schedule it, they came out and just did it. They showed up when they didn't have to.

They came out and fixed those so that it would work properly. As we are normally up here in Michigan, I did a lot of that right over the phone with him because he has put a roof on for us before. It was nice that we weren't in town and they were willing to work with us over the phone to get the job done. I think they did a nice job for the price.

Very professional job, Completed in one day. On time. Clean up was excellent. No chips and no nails, picked up by magnets.

They were prompt and did a high quality job as agreed and in a timely manner.

I was dissatisfied with the work they did on the flower bed, so I had them comeback and they corrected it. They were professional. With the flower bed, they did not tell me initially how it was going to look once they built it with the bricks, so they had to come back. That was the first time, that year or in a while that they had built a flower bed so that probably contributed to why they didn’t tell me how it would look but when I called them, they came back and corrected it.

I had a leak in my roof around an exhaust pipe. Bone Dry came out and identified the problem quickly, gave me a reasonable quote and fixed the issue immediately. It has been 2 years since this repair and still no leaks. I'd call them first if I have any problems in the future.

I was very disappointed. I had to watch them like a hawk to ensure that they actually did the work we hired them to do. Numerous mistakes were made that I had to find and point out to them, and for almost every mistake they initially tried to offer phony excuses and stories before finally correcting the work.

They have an excellent quality of work. They also have excellent workers and excellent line of products. They are excellent across the board and I will recommend them. They were a little expensive but it was worth it.

These guys are very professional, extremely courteous and very pleasant. My house is over 110 years old and they knew their stuff! This was a big job and they worked hard. Upon completion of each phase, they showed me pictures of the work done and answered all of my questions (I'm pretty picky and know just enough to be dangerous). They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. Written estimates and all of their paper work was very thorough and gave all information. The price was right on target for the work done and they didn't over sell any part of the job. Bad weather created some scheduling problems, but they were very accommodating. If you have an old house this is the company I would highly recommend. Great job! Very happy!

The company had to change the initial date of the job because of rain, but rescheduled promptly within a week of the initial date. The roof replacement was completed in one long day. The crew were prompt and very efficient and cleaned up after themselves fairly well--we found only a few stray nails and strips of old tar paper afterwards. They forgot to close off our gable vents and had to come back a week later to go up inside our attic to finish doing so. The gutters were put on the following weekend. We had difficulty with one of them because of the new air vents. The company came back out a week after we noticed the problem and reinstalled that gutter to correct the problem. We contacted the office several times while we were trying to decide whether to use this company and they were always quite polite and referred us directly to the supervisor or project manager who could answer our questions or deal with the few problems we had during installation. We looked at 3 companies before choosing this one.

It had been raining all day and it finally let up at about 1 pm. They showed up shortly after the rain had stopped with 11 guys and they went right to work. The materials had arrived from the distributor earlier in the day. My wife came home from work and she was worried because it looked like a bomb went off in the yard. When they were done everything was cleaned up and you couldn't even tell they were there. I spent the entire time on the roof with the crew observing their work. They didn't mind me being there and welcomed the questions that I had. They showed me the the age and water damage to the boards that needed to be replaced. I had 4 estimates done and Bone Dry was the least expensive. I felt like they were also the best suited for the job when the salesman who came to the house for the estimate asked to get in my attic so he could see the underside of my roof. No other company did that. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and materials. They did a great job! I recommended them to my daughter and son-in-law. They're going to use them to build a dormer on the back of their home. So, they do more than just roofing!
