I have two Ash trees that I needed to have treated for the Emerald Ask Borer that killing all the Ash trees. They came out soon after I inquired about a quote and promptly gave the quote. They were lower than the other quote I got - so I had the service. They were here when promised. The only question is if the trees will survive - I don't expect I'll have that answer for a year or two. They indicated it appears as if I have had them treated in time.

These people are wonderful. The owner Dave, came out and gave me a quote within 24 hours or so of my call. When I asked for his company's credentials, he drove back out to my home a day or so later and handdelivered a copy to me. Unlike so incredibly many companies out there right now, that have a 'take it or leave it' attitude about their services, this company not only treated me like they wanted the work and could handle the job, but from start to finish, everyone at Arborx treated me like they appreciated the business. The men who came out to do the work in my backyard were so professional, neat, and thorough. They were on time and explained the various stages of the project. I thought they did an outstanding job on my trees and on the clean up work. They even gave me ideas on things I needed help with that I did not realize Arborx could do. With just a quick phone call to Dave, while the project was going on, Arborx added on more work detail and material, which helped me immensely. These people really seemed to know a lot about trees and seem to care about the customer. Arborx provided a final invoice and itemized everything -- all the materials, etc., down to the penny. I thought the price was perfect: not too high and not too low. It was a real pleasure to do business with Arborx. Even other people are commenting about the wonderful job they did on my backyard!

the owner came out and went over all our trees and what we will need to do in the spring. We have not used them yet but we liked them so much we will be using them in the spring.

Excellent result. Identified pathogen and eliminated from tree. New shape definitiel definitely a amjor improvement. Tree hd a healthy summer. Team left the garden clean and spotless. They identified spots on the roof where constant rubbing had worn new shingles. Very helpful and very thorough.

I have change my mind regarding of the tree service I would give them a C rating.

This is a superb company. The owner, Dave, came out to our place after a severe storm took down most of a tree in our back yard. I needed that tree removed quickly as it had fallen onto another tree which would be badly damaged had it remained for very long. I also wanted all the other trees thoroughly pruned to avoid similar damage in the future. Dave immediately impressed with me with his knowledge about how and when to prune trees and shrubs, and how to care for them. Anybody can wield a chainsaw; only the real pros know which limbs to cut for the long term health and appearance of the tree. His education and training in this area is impressive and it shows in his work. While looking around at all my trees and shrubs, he pointed a problem with mites in some large evergreens. He showed me how to quickly and easily check for them. He offered to spray them for me but when I told him I had a lawn service that would take care of it, he said that was great and that I should ask them to come out and give these trees a quick spray. No hard sales pitch for his company to do the work. I also asked him about the emerald ash-borer as we have a beautiful ash tree in our back yard. Again, he was very knowledgeable; checked over the tree; found no signs of the ash-borer and told me what danger signs to look for. While I had another company treating this for me, his company would actually do it cheaper in the future. We also discussed the Asian Long-horned beetle as it was making news at the time. He was attending a seminar that same afternoon to learn more about it and how to treat for it... just one more sign of his professionalism. His team quickly came out and removed the damaged tree. They did a beautiful job of removing it, grinding out the stump, replanting the lawn, and cleaning up. We waited until fall to perform the major tree and shrub trimming. Dave and his assistant took a lot of pains to thoroughly prune each tree. They did another superb job. I will be asking them back when the trees and shrubs need more pruning in a couple of years.

I used Arborx Tree Specialists LLC for tree service and they exceeded my expectation. They were right on time, very professional and took their time to make sure the job was done right. They pruned two large trees in my backyard and cleaned up all the debris to include raking and blowing all loose limbs to the chipper. I would use ArborX again.

It was hard to actually speak to someone on the phone. Played phone tag multiple times.

Their work did not meet my standards. I would not hire them again.

I had very good luck with this company and this one was recommended by my lawn mower guy. They did an excellent job. I spent about $ 950 to remove the tree and they hauled away the wood and the debris. Then they charged $ 350. They had to come back and grind they stump down. There was a huge whole because they had to take the stump out and the roots. Then they brought in new top soil and they fed it. They also put straw down. That was an excellent price compared to some others. I would surely tell my friends and family about Arborx. The owner came right out and gave me an estimate. He told me what they did would be fair. There were 2 workers and they were very, very friendly. They worked continuously and they didn’t take off. They went to lunch and then they came back. They were very nice. They came right on time and they had all their machinery. The clean up was excellent. They brought blowers because there were wood chips everywhere. It was a big, big tree and they had to saw it all up. They had a chipper machine and they put the tree limbs in it. It chipped it up into mulch and they took all that away. They did an excellent job. I have no complaints at all. The lawn looks just like there was never a tree there. I would use them again in the future.

They were dependable. They were willing to communicate. They also trimmed and pruned some trees. They also put a cable in to help stabilize some of the branches. Some of the things they couldn't do if it was raining or lightening. Last Spring, they tried and tried and were finally able to do it kind of in between the weather. I know it was a challenge, but they stuck with it and were able to do the work. I don't think they were the cheapest, but I don't always go with the cheapest, because sometimes that is what you get too. I will use this company again.

He is a very nice man. He is also very good at what he does.

The guy is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He has been in the business for quite some time. He specializes in tree maintenance.

Very prompt. Thoroughly explained plan for multiple services and emailed us an itemized price summary. Part of our issue was a diseased tree that needed removal. This company was out of town and we had it removed by someone else while he was gone. He was approving of our decision because the tree was a potential danger. We will definitely call this company to complete other parts of the plan as we are ready.

Representative came to my home to evaluate all trees, then offered advice to treat trees with Tree-age kill/prevent emerald ash borer. We also discussed possible treatment for ash flower gall that was affecting two of the trees (he stated that the same treatment would take care of that for next year) and possible pruning in the fall (I asked about this, it was not forced conversation to drum up business). Several weeks later I called to have the treatments done; the appointment was scheduled and completed as agreed to in a very professional manner.

My experience with Arborx has always been pleasant. The price has been comparable to other companies. For anyone who puts a high importance on healthy trees I would recommend using this tree service.

They did it while we were gone. Can't say that I can tell any difference. The trees look bad right now but it could be because of the big windstorm and drought. Next spring, 2009, is when I will be able to tell if the trees survived.
