Description of Work: My toilet was not filling. He removed the old ball float fill valve and replaced it with a Fluid Master. He also looked at three other small jobs that I needed done when I asked if he would be able to give me an estimate.

Description of Work: Lewis Plumbing came to our house twice to repair a slow flushing toilet. They also replaced an old toilet as a preventative measure.

Description of Work: I called this company and spoke to the owner - they were currently busy, but he had his secretary take my information to call me the following week to send someone out to look at my electrical service to see what could be done. Unfortunately, I have never heard another word from them. Am very disappointed. Still need an electrician!

Description of Work: Replaced the toilet. There was leak on from the toilet and they came out right away to fix it.

Description of Work: Called Lewis 5/20 and they returned my call early afternoon. Told them my problem was the sewer vent pipe seal was leaking and during a heavy rain the rain water was comming down on my kitchen ceiling. They came out to give me an estimate about an hour later. They said they could do the job sometime Mondat weather permitting. Monday morning they called about 9am and because it looked like rain they said that there might be a 3 hr window in the afternoon. It rained for a couple of hours that morning. After it stopped raining they called and said they would be here in 25 minutes. They repaired the sewer pipe seal doing a very nice job.

Description of Work: Lewis replaced one toilet and snaked another toilet. The total price exceeded $750 including two travel service fees of $25 per visit.

Description of Work: Another contractor advised that I have an outside drainline checked for roots/blockage. Lewis plumbing snaked the outside drain lines and spent considerable time finding out how the drains on my property ran in order to identify the best solution to my drainage problems.

Description of Work: In the process of purchasing our first home the inspector noticed some corrosion of one of the old cast iron sewage stacks in the basement, right under the first floor half bath. I called Lewis Plumbing because of the recommendations on Angie's List. Immediately, after a conversation with the receptionist, I was phoned by Dean. We discussed some of the plumbing and minor electrical issues we'd like to have repaired. Within a week he and a colleague visited the property with me to estimate the cost and time. Dean was particularly helpful and sensitive to the fact that the current owner was still living in the house. He was also extremely helpful in answering my questions (and there were many, as the daughter of a retired contractor), describing the repairs and making suggestions for best solutions. In total, the crew replaced the cast iron stack with PVC, replaced a toilet on the first floor, replaced some electrical covers posing safety hazards, ran a new designated electrical outlet to sump pump, and also for the washing machine.

Description of Work: Lewis Plumbing installed all new plumbing in our basement for a bathroom, utility sink and bar sink. They had to cut the concrete to install the drain and crock. They installed the shower and fixtures and all the plumbing with shutoffs for immediate installation of the toilet and vanity. They also installed a low sone fan/light/heater.

Description of Work: Lewis Plumbing came out to clean out our sewer line and to fix the upstairs toilet.
