I listed my needs on HomeAdvisor and James called me within a couple hours of my post. He provided a ballpark estimate over the phone and advised he'd be happy to meet with me if I wanted to proceed. I talked with a couple additional companies and then decided to meet with James to discuss a generator install. He was very knowledgable and straight forward. He gave me a competitve quote and I have agreed to move forward with his company. I'll update after the install is complete but I'm very pleased so far.

Extremely professional. I called about a generator problem while James was on vacation. He called me from his vacation and said he would see me as soon as he got home. he did and showed up that morning to inspect the generator (a 17kw Generac). He found the problem (a blown rotor and stator). Got generac to cover it under warranty and the parts are to be delivered next week. So far, So good.

Our man that was suppose to service our natural gas generator yearly stopped coming. I forgot about the generator until one Saturday it didn't kick on. We didn't know how long it had been off. James came out to our house within a week and serviced our generator. Several times I came out to watch him and could tell he really cared about doing a good job. It was comforting to hear him say he does the same job as if the generator was his own.
