Basically hung some drywall and added mud. Drywall paper torn, finish rough gouges, dents and nail dimples not covered, corners had gaps and hardware misplaced. Did not bring any clean up supplies, not even a broom, had to borrow ours. Left the rooms a mess, globs of plaster on our workout equipment, cabinets and carpets. But the biggest problem was the quote was based on matching our ceiling texture which he could not do. The last day he said my brush is bigger so the pattern will be bigger. Well. . . that is not matching. Also at the last minute said he could not get the pressure to apply texture because of the cabinets. All this was evident during the walk through but not mentioned. So he scraped off the texture and said he would take $75 off a $400 bill. I said I would have to see if anyone could match the texture before I would accept the work. He may have made it worse because the ceiling might need to be replaced rather than repaired. Also there are large gaps between the repairs and the walls. So rather than have an adult conversation about this he grabbed all the paperwork and stormed out saying he had pictures of the house and pictures of me and would see me in court. Pending complaints with BBB and the Attorney General's Office. He has a good review on Thumbtack, I could not endorse his word for even basic repairs due to the shabby nature of the basement patches. Also I think he means well but overestimates his abilities. The website says decades of experience, but that was his father. He is recently out of the cement business. He did not do any painting for us, but given their unprofessional level of respect for property err on the side of caution.
