Contact with the contractor was nonexistent after signing the contract until I called to say I was going to get more quotes because of a lack of contact. They then said they would be out the next day. The work was completed and looks good. The owner has recently contacted me and apologized for the lack of communication and assured me that his philosophy is that the customer comes first. We had a good conversation and sent someone out to check a small problem that we have. They have scheduled to repair the defect. I have changed my ratings because the business should not be rated poorly due to one employees lack of customer service.

Over priced, sloppy workmanship, left a mess when done.

We did not have a good experience. The patio and steps they put in needed to be replaced. We were put on the back burner many times despite having paid in full. It took way too long for them to **make it right** The long wait was a huge inconvenience. The initial contract was for 8/23/21 and the job was not finished until October. Steps still do not match the patio. The owner said he would be refunding some of our money and he has not as of now. *I have raised my rating because the owner did keep his word and refunded us some of the money*

They addressed all issues.

They did a great job! The crew was friendly and very efficient. All our questions were answered informatively. I would call them again for future projects.

This past august Hastings and sons did a major concrete project for us. This project included a 12 ft by 12 ft slab for a shed, removal and replacement of a 12 ft by 24 ft patio including step, replacement of front poach, side walk, and removal and replacement of a 16 by 36 ft driveway. We were very disappointed with the workmanship of the driveway. We also received numerous negative comments from friends and neighbors. After seeing the driveway in person, the owner, Shawn Hastings, said the work definitely did not meet his companies standards. at our request He agreed to replace the entire driveway (For a nominal fee). This past week he made good on his promise and he and his crew replaced the driveway. We have since received Several comments from the people who saw it the first time. and they were amazed at how much better it looks now. We gladly give this work a 5 star rating (6 star if we could). We want to especially thank Shawn and his crew (Diego, Scott, and Victor). They worked well together as a team, were meticulous in doing the job right, especially in their attention to detail, and were very respectful. It was a pleasure meeting them.

There was slight damage done to neighbor's vinyl fence, that was next to my patio. They replaced it the same day with all new fence.

HO is very happy about the job the pro did and was especially pleased that pro finished in good time.

Hastings did what they said. Other contractors had a hard time getting a quote back to me. Their price was competitive and they showed up when they were supposed to. Adam answered his phone whenever I needed him. Most contractors only do that when it is convenient to them. My driveway measures 18ft by 44ft; along with them doing my walkway. They showed up at 8 AM and Terry their bobcat guy had the old driveway and walk torn out in an hour. The guys did their thing with setting the forms and using the vibratory compactor. At 3 PM, the rest of the crew and the concrete arrived. They finished the pour and edged it just after 6 PM. I was amazed! Done in one day! Neighbors have stopped to ask about the guys who did my driveway.

Very happy with the work. Shawn and Adam were very professional and great to talk too. They did excellent work, the patio they installed was for a Garage to be installed on. I plan on having them do a complete driveway and possible redo my porch. They will be called for all my concrete work. T.M.Bossman

Hastings & Sons is an excellent company to work with. We had a couple of communication issues, but they took care of very detail. I would definitely hire them again for concrete work.

No doubt the concrete was done very good. But in the process they ripped a piece of metal from my porch and left a gapping whole in the overhang. I was told by Adam they would be out to check it. Did not happen. They did come back to seal concrete an sprayed it on my house and storm door. I called and was told theyâ  d stop by. Did not happen. The seal is a bumpy, white patchy work that Iooks like somethingâ  s been scattered on it. Iâ  m tired of asking for someone to come see my complaint. So I quit. I will be call BBB, because they said I have a year guarantee but itâ  s only been a month and they have breached the trust. Nice people with a bad follow thru.

Adam came out and talk with me about what I wanted. The crew did a great job relaxing side steps, a sidewalk up front, and a walk area in the back. Adam checked the work and touched up the base of the steps after he noticed a few places that needed it. He and the crew were great to work with and the work looks fantastic!

Hastings and Sons done a fantastic job! Quality work done at a fair price and timely manner. They completed the work within 4 weeks after giving me the estimate. Everyone else required six to eight weeks .

Great to work with Adam, patio is great. Only flaw is the finishing touches of backfill to the patio, not good.
