They arrived on time, got gear unloaded and job started quietly, quickly and efficiently. The work was done before the estimated time and done well, in extreme heat. There was an issue at the end, but Jason fixed it by going above and beyond the expected, at no extra cost. I was very impressed by his kindness and integrity.

The purchase of our new home was predicated on the expense we needed to incur in order to transform it into our dream home. Prior to purchasing the home we met with the Beard Group and walked through the home several times. They prepared, as best they could, a detailed estimate of the scope and cost of the work required, based on our needs. We also had other companies look at the job and none were as thorough or detailed as the Beard Group. With several further meetings to discuss design plans, the decision was made to purchase the home and the Beard Group swung into action immediately. The interior demolition was completed quickly and every day, any mess was cleaned up and there was never any damage to other parts of the home. Internal structural walls were removed, stairwells were removed and bathrooms taken back to the studs. Not only did they listen to our needs and tastes but they delivered exactly to our expectations. We were amazed by the entire team's ability to think on the fly, execute perfectly and exceed our expectations as it related to finish and quality. Importantly as we moved through each step of this 6 month renovation, we were continually updated on progress against the timeline proposed and importantly, against the financial plan/proposal. There were even items during the renovation which had been included in the quote, which as it turned out, were not needed to be completed during the renovation, and the Beard Group provided us credit for those items. We had multiple teams from the Beard group working in differeent parts of the home at any given time, between plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters and builders. We were always treated with the utmost respect and it was never lost on the Beard Group that this was our home - they took great care every step of the way. As the project continued, we added more rooms to the job such was our satisfaction with the work the Beard Group had performed. We have absolutley no reservation in recommending the Beard Group for ANY home improvement project (large or small). We will ONLY be using the Beard Group moving forward for any additional work we choose to undertake. We are more than happy to speak further with anyone considering the Beard Group and likewise open our doors for anyone who wishes to inspect their workmanship. We could not be happier - they transformed a nice home in need of some work, into our dream home!!

I wish there was a score higher than an A for this group. They are very responsive, answer calls and come by when they say they are. David handled most of the work we needed done and he was absolutely so conscientious, neat, and professional, and friendly that it almost seemed as if a member of the family came by to help. He was a true plumbing artist and made sure everything we needed done was finished absolutely correctly. It is beautiful. This is a 70 year old house so he did run into a little problem with one of the pipes behind the wall leakng after he had installed the sink. He fixed it, a hole had to be made in the wall. The extra charge for that was fair and the Beard support group of other handypeople artisans fixed my wall as good as new. I had previously used other plumbers to intstall and fix two other toilets in my home and they always wobbled as if you were on board a ship. David fixed these and they are sturdy. Amazing work!

WE NEED ALOT OF REMODEL JOBS ON OUR HOUSE.( INCLUDING A TOTAL KITCHEN GUTTING AND REMODEL AND A TOTAL MASTER BATH REMODEL) WE WILL NOT BE CALLING BEARD.

The Beard Group showed up punctually for the estimate, and worked with our timeline for having the house stained and painted. They worked alongside the painting crew seamlessly, and did a great job with cleanup from a project that produced a lot of debris.

This was a rush job before a Christmas party. Even with a busy holiday schedule, the company met our deadline. The doors look great and like they were always there.

Great team to work with. They are not the cheapest but their work is excellent. They did a great job of communicating throughout the several week project and did their best to keep disruption to household at a minimum. A good clean up job was done each day before they left. If we couldn't have seen the progress, we wouldn't have known they were there. Both Jason in the office and Emmy on the work site were a pleasure. Emmy went above and beyond even letting our dogs out in the yard with her while she was sawing, sanding, or finishing while we were at work.

The side awning to my home was crumbling and paint was pealing off. They were very professional and provided a concise estimate within a week of calling them and when I was ready for the work to be performed the work was performed it was completed in two working days. They communicated well and built, installed and painted a great awning. I was pleased with the results. Communication was all through email.

Dave fixed several plumbing issues, including: Leaking tub fixture, pinhole leak in a basement cold water line, retrofit existing cw line to a greenhouse fixture, several minor faucet issues, and a clothes dryer gas line problem. He was on time, efficient and seemed to know what he was dealing with and how to resolve the problems quickly. He had to return to complete one of the repairs a few days later, and once again showed up right on time. A really nice guy, I might add! I had used Jason and Chris Beard for a bath remodeling project (which turned out beautifully) about five years ago; when I saw they did plumbing too I did not hesitate to call them. Very professional and great to work with!

Called for a plumber for some general fixes and they sent one the next day. The plumber repaired all my bathrooms in less than two hours. Will use in the future for other remodeling projects.

I liked them. I hired someone else because The Beard Group thought I needed to have a lot of plumbing work done that I didn't want to do. It is true that it may have helped for my sprinkler system, but it was just going to be a bigger deal. I chose someone else who seemed to be comfortable with doing the sprinkler system work than the plumbing work. The Beard Group was good. They were very responsive. They quoted me around $1500-$2000 to do the work, and it was a reasonable price.

All the projects are beautiful and beyond our expectations because of their help, access to resources and their professional team. Wish they were building homes; we would hire them and start from scratch without a worry. They are valuable partners in all our projects whether it is repair or total remodel. Cleveland is lucky to have them.

I give The Beard Group 10++++. Because we got burned by other contractors in the past, we were leery of anyone when considering people for our dream kitchen. We chose The Beard Group after many interviews to do a smaller scale project to see if "they past the test". Then when the time came for the big kitchen project, it was clear that they were right people. They met with us at our convenience to discuss the project and provided us with a free consultation and detailed proposal. There was absolutely no pressure or requirement for a down-payment. What I loved about their quote was that this was the "worse-case" scenario price - - we have a 1920's home and strange things pop up ALL the time. Throughout the whole project there was no nickel-and-diming. Going through a kitchen remodel is stressful enough, so I was glad not to have to worry about price changes. Given, the large scale of the project, new things did come up but no price fluctuations happened. They even gave me a credit when I didn't go with a certain number of lights or a when I chose to go with a different heating option. They were pretty much on schedule -10 weeks, the project ended up going longer because I added 2 additional projects to the adjacent rooms. Everyday throughout the 3 month project , they showed up at 8:20 am and did not leave until at least 5-5:30 pm. They even came on the weekends on several occasions. The house was always left clean everyday - no nails, no tools, no dust outside the work space. Truly honest work!! Like most homeowners, we inspect the work everyday and were always delighted to see daily progress. Now to the most important matter - the people. I know everyone on their in-house team by name --- simply wonderful people. There were never strange faces in my house. Chris and Jason Beard, the owners, are unbelievably professional, fun, and simply good-hearted guys. The quality of the work was superb. I wouldn't accept anything less....and Chris and Jason delivered!

My overall experience with them was excellent. They were prompt and thorough. They seemed honest, unlike my experience with other providers. The estimate was free. I would consider using them in the future; it was just that I was not ready to do it at that point in time.

I called and got an hourly rate. They said there was no service cost; just the $70 an hour. Even though Dave was a little late, I got a call letting me know he was going to be late. I showed him where it was leaking and told him I already recaulked the whole tub so that was not the problem. AFter removing the panel, he saw where the leak was. He came down and told me what he was going to do. He did it and cleaned up after himself. He showed where the leak was and what he did. He was done in an hour.

They were excellent. They were detailed. They had a young and energetic crew. They stuck to the promises that they made. From A-Z we had no complaints at all. We would recommend them instantly to somebody else. The drain was $1,700. They purchased the tile and bathroom fixtures and gave them to us at their price which was a real good plus. I had gone to a plumbing store and they were charging the most outrageous prices. We would definitely use them again. They are going to do a job at our neighbor's house in the fall.

Unfortunately getting started was delayed but only secondary to the weather. They finished all of the work over a couple of days. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves well. They showed up when they said they would and worked efficiently. I was pleased with the quality of work and plan to use them for future projects.

The Beard Group is very good and very reliable. They come on time and are very neat workers. They did some work for people across the street so that is why we called them. They were very conscientious and took care of things. If something did not work they came back to fix it right away. The owner is very respectful to his clients.

.They did everything that they said they were going to do. They set up an appointment. They came on time; they gave us a quote in a timely manner. It was all great. We did not use them mainly because we had a couple of different quotes and we picked someone else. They were very responsive to our needs. Their price was higher than we had hoped. We will get a quote from them in the future.

There were several workers who came to our house during the week that the work was done. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of the day, and never slacked off. There were a few details that needed to be addressed once they had finished up, and just one email took care of it - someone was at our house promptly in the morning to take care of it. We are very pleased with their work and definitely recommend this company.

. They were very good. The two guys who did the work were very courteous and did not mind my little guy following them around and trying to help them. They tried to do as much as they could without doing as much damage to the walls as they could have. They even pepped a hole in the wall for me for free. The only thing is that when I originally got in touch with them, I don’t know whether they got my message or not, they never got back to me. That was the only issue. Other than that they did very good work. I will use them in the future.

They did a beautiful job. They were at my home on time. It was very hot outside and they kept working diligently. They also cleaned up their mess.

Jason and Chris run a very professional business. This begins with people, and their crew...all of them...are absolutely top-notch. Everyone was very knowledgable and gifted at their trades. Everyone was extremely polite, courteous, and cleaned up at the end of each day. As is always the case, issues popped up that could not have been anticipated. Jason and Chris tackled them with a positive, "can-do" attitude and did not pass unanticipated cost on to us. They made the whole process as stress-free as such an undertaking could possibly be. The quality of the workmanship, particularly the finish work was absolutely first rate. Their work has truly made our house a home that we will enjoy for years to come.

Jason was very prompt in both coming to my house for the estimate and then getting the completed estimate back to me, and was kind enough to work within my budget by offering some suggestions to decrease the overall cost for the project. Jason and his excellent crew got the whole project completed in 2 days, were very careful about leaving the area clean each day, and included me in brainstorming on some problem areas. His crew was very careful in removing all the baseboards to not need to purchase more at the time of re-installation. We now have a very comfortable and cozy finished basement. We will without hesitation hire the Beard Group again for future projects.

It went very well. We used Angie's list to arrange for two estimates and ended up choosing The Beard Group in a photo finish. Jason and the three men who worked at various times on the project were very friendly and dependable. We felt that they could be trusted with the security of our home and trusted to handle anything that might turn up during troubleshooting and construction. They came when they said they would, left the place more tidy and usable than I would have expected at the end of each day, and finished the job in four days.
