Chris was fantastic at working with us to get it diagnosed and get a plumber out to handle it. They are fantastic and I trust The Beard Group!

He works on all the houses in our neighborhood. He's always doing projects for us, he's done a lot of stuff. Bathroom, tile in other rooms, support beam in the basement, outside light work for us.

No one ever replied to my inquiry. It's been a few weeks.

Great. The project took a few weeks longer than originally expected but they finished 3 months ago and I LOVE it.

They did a very good job. Professional, came when they said they would and did what they said they were going to do, would use them again

The result was well worth the time it took. We are very pleased with the expanded space, upgraded lighting, beautiful tile backsplash, and effective color scheme. We appreciate the quality of the staff and found them pleasant and conscientious. Although our house and kitchen are smaller than many of the Beard Group's other jobs, they gave us the same high quality of work and design service. Every one who visits is amazed at the transformation and the beauty and style of the new kitchen. It is a tribute to the skilled workers, project managers, and above all, the designer, Claire Barilla, and her assistant. She facilitated and coordinated a look that is both historically appropriate and fresh as a daisy.

They always do great work for me; they've come to help with a few projects. They come when they say they will, the workmanship is amazing, and they always clean up after themselves. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

He was punctual with scheduling and completing the work. I was also pregnant at the time of the work and they were very courteous of making sure they cleaned up afterwards and there wasn't excessive dust.

I was extremely impressed with The Beard Group's professionalism and workmanship. They were easy to communicate with. I am very happy with their work.

One of the biggest gripes I have with contractors and service providers is they don't return phone calls or e-mails in a timely manner. The next one is when they delay coming to give estimates, etc. All I wanted was for someone to come and look at the projects I have so that I could do my planning. Much of the work I need done does not need to be done right away, but I do need to plan. Return your phone calls folks! If that's too hard, at least respond to e-mail. Update as of 9/21/15 when I saw the response from the contractor: It takes quite a bit of confidence to accuse a potential customer of lying and not returning phone calls, when in fact, I had made several attempts with no response via e-mail or voice mail. I am sure other users of Angie's list will read your response as I note several others to negative reviews.

The quote went fine we both realized by the end of the meeting that their company wouldn't meet our needs

They do a little bit of everything. They are fantastic. They are a great company to work with. They are punctual. They always clean up when they are done.

We really appreciated their professionalism and responsiveness to our inquiry. They let us know from the beginning what the time frame would be. They spent time going over the details and why they were suggesting the work they did. Although we decided to go with another company, we will be keeping the Beard Group in mind when we start looking at other projects for our home. We highly recommend reaching out to them for any remodeling needs!

It took longer than expected.

Prompt & professional - charges in 15 min increments which is nice for small jobs so you don't get charged for another full hour. He was very careful to not get carpet dirty & made sure to clean up after himself when he was finished.

They were easy to work with, showed up on time with a professional, nice crew and delivered as expected. Plus, I had forgotten to have them drill a hole for the soap dispenser, so they came out the next day a did it for free.

Great quality of base materials, e.g., fine grained number one grade poplar for trim Electrical, painting, plumbing excellent. Since we have now utilized their services for 3 consecutive summers, we obviously are very satisfied. All their workmen were very courteous and neat, cleaning up each day before going home.

They were very quick and from the initial look and a few feet away it looked great. However upon further review the paint was not applied correctly and they did not use a brush like they told us they would. Also they did not put the shakes in correctly, cut out the old one and only put the replacement in the cut out instead of removing the shake above it

The Beard Group staff have tremendous expertise in all aspects of remodeling and renovating older homes typical of the Heights area. At the start of the process, the Beard Group designer visited the house, measured, drew plans, and then went to showrooms with us to help pick out fixtures and tile. She understood our taste and the style of the house, but guided us to make selections of colors and finishes that we would not have been able to do on our own. The course of the work proceeded continuously and logically, from the demolition of the existing room, the installation of new wiring and pipes, new wallboard, waterproofing and insulation.The tile, painting, and installation of hardware were the final phase of the work. Cleveland Heights permits and inspector visits were all arranged by the Beard Group project manager. From beginning to end, a staff member or team of staff were on site at our house nearly every day. The caliber of the staff is outstanding. They are highly skilled artisan-craftsmen, dedicated to top quality work, and pleasant and friendly to have in the house. The staff are very attentive to neatness and cleanup at the end of each day. Our friends and neighbors have raved about the new bathroom--especially the tile, the tiled shower niche, the built-in wooden shelves, and the beautiful color scheme, tile and paint. The work was well managed, and we appreciated that the Beard group staff includes all the specialists needed for the job, including electricians, plumbers, painters, carpenters, and tile setters. The managers were extremely responsive to our questions and requests, and kept us updated with text messages and e-mails. We whole-heartedly recommend the Beard Group, and enjoyed working with Chris Beard and all the staff.

There were some scheduling issues which led to the project being postponed a couple of times, but we enjoyed working with the company for the most part. The crew was respectful and professional, they completed the project on schedule, and the bathroom turned out just as we had imagined.

I did get a call from them and I liked Beard Group very much. The Beard Group were on-time that made sense to me. They came and looked at my house and talked to me about what I wanted them to do. They were courteous and on time, but there was something about their clothes that I actually didn't like, which I cannot remember.
