Arslanian Brothers

We have used them for several years. We usually try to time using them to whenever they have a sale going on. They keep the carpet clean and it comes out great. They are very helpful.

They came and did the job. They were punctual.

They were very responsive and able to work within my schedule. The cleaners were 30 minutes early, but they called first to see if that would be OK. They were polite and efficient, even had a few tips to keep my carpets looking nice. I had them clean all of the carpeting in the house, and added ScotchGuard to the areas that get the most traffic. The carpets look great. I would definitely use them again.

They cleaned 1610 sq feet of carpet. This was 'empty service' meaning that they did not have to move any furniture (we had not moved in the home at the time of service, the home was empty). A 10% discount was given due to the 'empty service'. No Angie discount with coupons or senior discount was given. We had some traffic areas that showed, however, when asked about them they stated nothing could be done about them (they did not try to do anything special for those areas and cleaned them in the same manner as the remaining carpet). We paid $122 to have them scotch guard our lower level (approx. 500 to 600 sq feet). They applied the scotch guard with a tank sprayer (the kind of hand pump sprayer you use on your lawn to kill weeds) and just walked the area. They are the professionals, but I do not think you get an even application by walking with a tank sprayer (could be wrong and there is no way to prove how well the scotch guard was applied). Just a note: you get your carpets cleaned and the cleaners wear their shoes from the street on your carpet. They cannot wear some type of protection on their shoes so that they do not ditty the rugs they are cleaning?. When they scotch guard they are walking on wet clean carpet with their shoes on.

Vendor was responsive, on-time even with snowfall that we had on the east side. The offered Scotchgard and deodorizer service for an extra charge which I added. The carpets came out very clean and dried within the day. I did turn on the fireplace and had a blower running to ensure that everything was dry before I moved the furniture back. I did have to call to schedule the appointment as they did not respond to the Angie's List email option. I called the day before to get an approximate time that they would be out. They also called me when they were on the way and were timely.

First I must say I am so pleased with the rug after cleaning! These people can really clean rugs. It only took a week and the rug smells good and looks oh so good. It had not been cleaned in about 10 years and they even got some old wine stains out of it. I am very pleased with the cleaning. However not so pleased with the delivery. After bringing in the rug myself I decided to have them bring it back to me because it is heavy and I am fairly old. So they called on Wed. and said they would deliver between noon and 3 the next day. Wonderful. Well, they came at 11:30, rang the front bell and no one answered because we were in the back yard. So they left. I called them at noon to get a better idea of time and was told that they already came and left. They came early. I asked if they could come back and they said no. The only time I could have it delivered was a week later. I went to Arslanian Brothers and picked the rug up myself. They deducted the 25.00 delivery charge. Since they came at the wrong time I though they should have come back. Also it seems that they could have walked around to the back of the house and knocked there. Many times people's doorbells do not work. We were in the back yard and would have known that they were there to deliver. We were in the house at the agreed time.

We have used them before, about eight years ago. Call center was easy to work with. They scheduled us very quickly for an appointment, though puzzlingly they asked us to call again the next day to be sure our appointment was as confirmed. A little confusing, but we did. The cleaners came promptly, were professional in their demeanor. All carpets in the house were cleaned. Received advice about a carpet repair, which will be done in future. They did a great job other than that a couple of old red stains could not be completely removed--not their fault, the stains were pretty old. We'll be using them again in the future, it just won't take eight years this time!

We had a potential disaster on our hands. Our hot water heater in the basement cracked and leaked a lot of water. Some got on the part of the basement that has carpet. We thought we were going to have to rip it out and replace it. We called Arslanian Brothers and they came within a few hours with everything they needed to take care of the problem. They pulled up the carpet to see exactly which part was wet and which was dry. They then used their steam cleaner which vacuumed out a lot of the water. They did the carpet first, then rolled the carpet back and did the same to the foam pad underneath. Then brought in two big blowers and set them up so they blow under the pad and the carpet which dries the carpet out over a few days. (We of course turned off the water to the hot water heater, drained the leaky tank and stopped more water from going on the carpet.) We worked with Al. He was great. He knew exactly what to do to dry the carpet fast enough to prevent mold. He and his assistant worked efficiently and professionally. He also said their company could recommend someone to re attach the edges of the carpet to the floor once everything is completely dry. We were amazed at how professional, knowledgeable and efficient they were with dealing with this problem! We have used them for years to clean our carpets and occasionally furniture and have always had excellent service but the way they came over the same afternoon we called them and took care of this problem was fantastic!

Excellent. It's like brand new carpeting, he got all the stains out and I was very very satisfied.

I am a life long fan of Arslanian Brothers. I have tried other "experts" but none does as good of a job or displays a pride in their workmanship. I had a sectional sofa, two club chairs and a sofa and loveseat cleaned, mainly due to my dog marking the furniture. But there were other stains, especially on the arms of the sofa. The smell, the marking and regular stains are all gone. The fellows were courteous, friendly and hard working.

Everything went great from scheduling to the actual work itself. I could not have asked for a better experience.

They gave a senior discount. It was very good. They were very professional and did a good job.

They are family owned and well established company. They were very thorough. They were very informative of the cost and services. They don't charge extra to move the furniture. They charge by the square foot. They even put the pads down. They were cost conscious without being seeming lazy. They had told me a few things just so I wouldn't have to pay for it. They were hard workers but yet aware of budget. He did make suggestions about future cleanings about carpet types but I don't know what the materials are.

They arrived on time and were highly professional. They did an excellent job.

They picked up the rug, cleaned it and brought it back.

It went very well from the initial contact through Anfgies list until the job was completed. One plus for me is that they bring their own water rather than using ours, as some carpet cleaning companies do.

They did a very nice job, and they were in and out quickly.

The guys who came take a look at our couches and recommended that we not clean them, because the nature of the stains (dog hair and drool) wouldn't really come out with their cleaning. They were very honest and professional, and I appreciate them being upfront rather than trying and giving me bad service for my money. I think this speaks greatly to their professionalism and commitment to customer service. They did offer to try if I wanted, but were very clear that it probably wouldn't be worth it. I'm disappointed in my couches, but glad Arslanian workers are honest and don't overpromise. I will use them in the future for rugs and carpet.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They did the work while I was at work so I provided my credit card information in advance with the stipulation that they call with a price before performing the work. They stated that they would call. They did not call! and they charged considerably more than I thought they would. I feel taken advantage of. I will never ever use them again.

Nick and Cliff were very professional. They were on time. Called to let me know when they would arrive. Explained the process and gave me a written quote after measuring each of the rooms and furniture that I needed to have cleaned. I would definitely use them again.

Received a call the day prior to confirm appoint and provide approximate time of arrival; received call about 15 minutes prior to arrival day of to let me know they were on their way (this is key - I have 3 big dogs and need to know in advance when a provider is coming to the house so I can lock them up). The crew was professional, courteous, thorough, punctual and thanked me for my business. Will definitely use again.

All employees were very professional and courteous. Matt and Tony on the carpet cleaning (and they came out to redo a couple of areas) were very nice and easy to work with. Very satisfied with their work. Only complaint is they did a closet that really didn't need doing. If they had asked first, I would have said no. The cleaning is done based on 32 cents a square foot* with deodorizing and Scotchgard extra. I wish I had seen all the figures on each area first - I felt rushed into making decision on Scotchgarding on areas where we will probably replace the carpet in a year or so. Matt and Tony came out on the touch-up job and re-did all the areas I asked them to do. (*I believe this is the correct charge) Area rug cleaning was pretty cut and dry, so to speak. My only complaint there is I was also charged an extra $32 for the Scotchgarding and I was never asked if I wanted the carpet Scotchgarded. I don't know if Arslanian just automatically puts on the Scotchgard protection on area rugs. The rug re-stretching team was very professional and quick. I originally only asked for the restretch but after showing them an area where a coffee drink was spilled (on a white carpet, nonetheless!), we agreed the best way to handle the staining there was to pull back the carpet, replace the stained padding and then restretch the carpet back. There was an extra charge for this, but I was willing to pay to have the problem solved. The cleaners went over it one more time and I think we have my reoccurring problem solved! Since I had three different services done by Arslanian and they have a lot of coupons out there for the different services, I thought I should be able to use 3 coupons on the 3 services. I originally used only one coupon, but I called Ted Arslanian about the other two and he had no problem honoring the other two coupons. He sent out a check refunding the amount since I had paid for all services by credit card. I made it a point to call Ted to thank him personally and let him know the services performed were all to my satisfaction, and that I would definitely use the company again and recommend them to others. I only gave a B on pricing because I wish I had been notified on some areas of the pricing earlier. Arslanian is probably a little more expensive than other carpet cleaning companies - but as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for" and Arslanian is a company of professionals.

First cleaning December 2, 2013. Stairs were not cleaned around the edges. Master bedroom - traffic pattern needed a redue plus spot cleaning in various areas. Guest bedroom all around the the edge of the room and out about a foot was gray, also spot cleaning in various areas was needed.. They returned on December 11 for a redue. Corrected a few areas but didn't really corrected most of the areas. They were very polite, but spoke to me like I didn't have a brain in my head. When I asked if they could spot these areas specifically, they told me they had seven different spot cleaners in the overall cleaning process. They just went over the carpet with the wand they used to clean the entire area. Requested they return the third time on January 8, 2014 - same result. I GAVE UP - NEVER TO USE THEM AGAIN
