Mike and his team are very courteous, and I trust them completely. His prices are very fair and the work is perfect. I feel very blessed to have found Mackin and Sons, and I recommend them to everyone! They are wonderful!

Well. I had work done on two different days with two different plumbers: one installed a gas line to accommodate a gas stove and water line for the refrigerator; and the other installed a sink, faucet and dishwasher in the kitchen. Both plumbers were courteous, knowledgeable and competent. The work area was left clean. They were able to perform the work within a week's time of my initial contact.

Response was prompt, courteous, and efficient and everything was done to our satisfaction.

The pipe from the laundry was leaking. Their snake wasn't long enough so they arranged for another plumber to come out. Mackin & Sons did not charge for their time they were at the house since another plumber was coming.

Mike Grand, the technician, did a great job. Planning to have more work done. Mike Mackin was extremely helpful in finding me a pedestal sink and stainless undermount sink. Will definitely stick with these guys for all future plumbing needs!

Everything went well. We emailed them concerning what we needed done and they responded to us quickly with a quote. Once we decided to go with them, they emailed us a list of dates and times they were available. Plumber arrived right on time. We only had to give him the items to install. He pointed out that sink's T pipe was upside down causing water to pool in the pipe and stagnate. He replaced that for an additional $15. After everything was fine, he went through everything he did with us and showed us a few things about the disposal. They got the job done at the price they quoted.

Was able to. respond in a timely manner. Was clean, professional, polite.

Called and an appointment was made quickly. When he arrived, we directed him directly to problem. He figured out quickly what the issue was and gave an estimate. there is a service call of $53 and there was a coupon on Angies List for 5% off. No issues thus far.

I didn't realize when I had set the appointment that Mackin had my work number instead of my cell phone, so I never received any of their calls. However, my work phone does record missed calls, and they made the initial 30-minute call when they said they would, and then three additional calls when they couldn't reach me. Mike waited nearly 30 minutes for me, and I'm grateful that I got there before he left. He was gracious about my mistake, and I greatly appreciated his professionalism in the matter. He covered his boots with booties to protect my floors and carpet, which I can't say the same about the original plumber I had called for this same issue. He was efficient, thorough, and clearly knowledgeable, and I wasn't at all uncomfortable having him in my home. He truly went above and beyond ensuring that I wouldn't have any leak issues with the current set-up of my shower (the hole the original owners made was much larger than normal), and he left his work area spotless. I will definitely be calling Mackin in the future for reconnecting and installing new outside faucets as well as other work that may come up. Truly top-notch service.

Mr. Mackin was punctual, completed the work efficiently, cleaned up his work area. I would use him for plumbing needs in the future.

It went very well. I have a tankless water heater. I've been in this house 3 years, never a problem. Recently water started running going cold after being warm, not coming out hot at all, and other times hot running with no problem. I tried two other companies before Mackin and Sons - the first company told me they would charge me hourly to come out and had no idea how long it would take (they suggested I "google" how long it would take to do preventive maintenance on that model of tankless heater?!?!?!). The second company said they only service one specific brand of tankless. Finally Mackin and Sons was a light at the end of the tunnel! They quoted me $79 for service call (which would include up to an hour troubleshooting on the phone with the tankless company which is still in business although not making residental tankless water heaters any more). Mike came out, spent some time with the water heater and customer service 800 #, determined the source of my problem and the next day quoted me the price for repair. Before he quoted me the price, he also said he wanted to look through the nearly 90 page user manual for my tankless and determine if there were preventive maintenance things he could while he had the tankless taken apart (brilliant! thank you!). He returned, spent nearly 3 hours here, and the result was glorious hot water again! He said when he left that although the problem seemed to be solved, the problem with tankless heaters is that if there is wrong with the unit it's an ordeal trying to trouble shoot (and potentially very expensive for me since my model of tankless is no longer made although parts still available). He said if I had any other trouble to let him know and he would stay on the problem! I really appreciate the honesty and would call Mackin and Sons again without hesitation.

I was very happy with the service that I had done today! "Mike" was very professional and I have not one complaint. There was a tricky situation where the holes for the facet were drilled too far back- leaving little room for the facet itself. However, Mike handled this with good problem solving skills. The cost that I listed included the new facet - and I believe I was charged a very reasonable rate. I had recently engaged another plumber to fix a water filter and I was not happy with that service. This time - I am very happy and highly recommend Mackin and Sons Plumbing.

Communications via email and in person were professional, timely and informative. Mike was on time, very considerate and did an excellent job. I just joined Angie's List and this was my first experience. Just outstanding! We have more work to be done with another project and I will definitely chose Mackin again.

We have had a very difficult time with contractors finishing our kitchen remodel. We needed a plumber to finish out hooking up our faucet, new dishwasher, new garbage disposal, and refrigerator water line. We had been without water in our kitchen for 2 - 3 months. Mike scheduled us promptly and his staff showed up on time and was courteous and professional. He had a lot more work to do than would have been normal because originally the contractor was going to prep everything and have their plumber hook up our plumbing. He stuck with the job and explained things to us as he went. He took the time that was needed to complete the job correctly. He was very careful with our appliances and our home, and was very neat and clean. This company did an excellent job and that is a nice thing to say and feel since we have had some terrible and irresponsible contractors within the last few months. We were very pleased with this company and would highly rate Macklin & Sons Plumbing. We would use them again for any plumbing needs. They did an excellent job and the price was reasonable for all of the time he spent at our home. We recommend Macklin & Sons to anyone needing a good Plumber.

The gentleman had an attitude from the beginning right out of the truck (he must of had a bad day from the start) from the very end of hooking up the faucet. Needless to say the faucet still is leaking and I just didn't even want him back so I never had them fix it, that's how bad it was. Never explained what he was doing, why it possibly was leaking, hardly talked and when he did, he seemed like he didn't want to be here. Horrible

Mackin & Sons Plumbing was amazing! He arrived 15 minutes early, didn't track dirt or leaves through the house, finished quickly, and did a terrific job! Due to the boxed-in situation, he had estimated that it could take up to 6 hours, but it only took 2 1/2. And that included replacing a few extra pipes, valves and faucets. The new water heater came in a large box that he cut windows in to make a fort for my grandbunnies. This plumber doubles as a great fort-maker! My shiny new water heater works great and finally.... no more leaking!

Mackin & Sons are an excellent company! I have received prompt call backs, very fair prices, and quality work. I have complete trust in them. They are always pleasant and stand behind their work . I count myself very lucky to have such honest people working on my home. I will continue to use them, and refer everyone I know to them. They are a wonderful team!

Mike answered the phone, made a prompt appointment for two days later per my request, gave me an estimated 2-hr window arrival time. His worker, also named Mike, called before arrival to confirm, was on-time, evaluated and diagnosed the required work quickly, gave me a very reasonable estimate, got to work making the repairs, had the owner drop off a replacement faucet, and finished up the extensive work in 3 hours and cleaned up after his work too. The final cost was what was estimated. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. I could not be more pleased with the whole process. I would use Mackin & Sons Plumbing again, and I would highly recommend them to others.

Mike was very pleasant and professional. He reminded me of the price of the service call, and said he'd look at the problem and give a cost estimate. After assessing the problem he told me what he proposed to do, gave me the cost, and told me upfront that he couldn't guarantee that just cleaning the pipes would suffice. However, since the alternative involved tearing down drywall, I told him to go ahead. He wore shoe covers at all times while in the house, and protected my floor and inside the cabinet with drop cloths. When he left my drain was working beautifully, and I couldn't even tell someone had been in the house. I now have him on speed dial!

Same day emergency, they came out in the time frame that they promised. Dressed well, very professional, covered shoes so that dirt would not be tracked around the house. Diagnosed and fixed our problem in about one hour, showed me what was wrong and how he would fix it. Cleaned up nicely, left no trace except a neat small hole in the ceiling, but that was needed. I would hire him again. Prices very reasonable, quick service and NO MORE WATER ALL OVER!
