Everything was excellent. They came as promised, did the work and charged less than one half of the other estimate we had. The gas log fireplace was a second job -- we called and they happened to have someone in the neighborhood who stopped by a couple of hours later. They fixed our problem, explained a few items that we weren't clear about and didn't even charge a separate trip fee since they were close by. We will use them again!

It was great that they called me on Monday. I just don't like the fact that they referred me to Wilson Plumbing.

The call was answered immediately and the service was provided within 1.5 hrs of my initial call (!). My washer was spraying water all over the place...The plumbers came, diagnosed, made a run to Home Depot for parts. I now have mesh hoses behind my washer and new working valves for the water shut off. I'm very happy with the quality of work and the professional service. They also patiently took time to educate me : ) which I appreciate.

Mackin and Sons was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, polite, and extremely neat and clean. They thoroughly cleaned up all work areas at the end of each work day. They are now my “go-to” plumber! The replacement of the black pipes was done through a contractor, so I am not sure of the exact total cost. The amount shown is my estimate.

Although the first visit wasn't successful since the snake wasn't long enough & I had to hire a separate drain cleaning service, the next visit to install the garbage disposer and then correct the fall on the 2" drain line went very well. Mike is knowledgable, professional & courteous. If not for the wasted effort in the first visit, the company would have gotten all A's....they need a longer snake.

Prompt and very professional plumbers. They clearly explain the job and take the time you understand it. I have hired them in three different occasions. Good quality work and prices are very reasonable. The cost for the installation of the gas burner was considerable lower than I was quoted from other plumbers listed on Angies list.

All three jobs went well. While two of them were pretty straight forward, the main job of re-establishing the sink vent went much better than expected. After we agreed on an initial scope of work and price of nearly $1500, Mike and Rob brainstormed an alternate approach. Rob completed the new scope of work at a cost of $400. I really appreciated their efforts at developing a better and less expensive solution. Rob was very professional in his work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mackin & Sons Plumbing.

They are very easy to work with, able to schedule without waiting too long & actually showed up a little early. The quality of the work was top notch. The person performing the service was very friendly and walked me through what he was doing. The work was done quicker than I expected and looked very good. He cleaned up when he was done and other than the new gas line, I wouldn't have known he had been there. The only thing that was less than exceptional, was the price was a little higher than quoted via email. However they did provided an updated cost prior to beginning the work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them the next time I have a plumbing need.

Service person called prior to arrival. Appreciated the call. Arrived on time. Located and repaired the leak efficiently. Quality rating was a B only because the service person did not wipe the floor beneath and in the area of the leak. There were very visible drops from the soap and water mixture that was sprayed on the pipes to locate the leak. Only took me about 2 minutes to do the required cleaning. Had the service person cleaned the quality rating would be an "A". Picky? Possibly. However I believe service people should clean up after themselves no matter how minor "the mess".

Everything was done perfectly and this company was very professional. I would not hesitate to call them again. I will recommend them to family and friends.

I reached out to several companies on Saturday and received a rapid response from Mackin & Sons plumbing. I was given excellent advice from a Mackin & Sons team member over the phone. Ron Bernard was the service plumber that came to my home. Ron is the most professional plumber I have ever met. Ron probed the entire drain system and did not try to up sell me. Due to the smell and allergy issues Ron provided a temporary tent that contained all odors until the job was complete. My custom kitchen floor tiles were completely covered and protected. Upon completion of the job my kitchen and basement area were in immaculate condition and odor free. Ron also reconfirmed everything was working properly along with giving me great advice for drain maintenance. I'm also looking forward to having additional non emergency plumbing work done by Ron and his team. A big thank you again to the Mackin & Sons plumbing team for their honesty and excellent service.
