Description of Work: He connected a kitchen sink, disposal, dishwasher and pot siller. He was great and exceptional. He cleaned up after himself. He was very pleasant to work with and he was on time too. Everything was good. He gave me a quote before he started the work and I really appreciated too.

Description of Work: Mike was courteous and professional in helping to get two bathtub drains running again. Both involved old drum traps that were hard to access and get apart. One was replaced, the other cleaned. Nice folks to deal with, and will use them again if the need arises.

Description of Work: Replaced a worn out garbage disposal with a make and model I suggested. Work was done as agreed with no problems.

Description of Work: Installed new 1/2" gas line in unfinished part of basement from boiler area (one end of ranch house) to the kitchen area for stove (at other end of house ; I converted from electric to gas). Installation included hard black pipe (other quotes wanted to use flexible line - more expensive) for most of the length, ~8 ft of flex line from pipe & up through floor into the kitchen, and an anchored gas valve at the floor in kitchen behind stove. Final check for leaks. Will contact again for any future plumbing work along with the usual multiple quotes for price comparison (that's how I selected Mackin for this gas line job).

Description of Work: Relocated the water for a kitchen remodel, moved the gas line for the stove and moved air conditioning drain lines. They were fantastic. Very professional and used technology that made everything go so smooth. Used up to date techniques and were there on time. Very unusual behavior for the plumbers I've used in the past. Their prices are not the cheapest. But they were worth it. I WILL use the again.

Our garbage disposal was not salvageable so he replaced it with a new one which we provided. |We had used Mackin and Sons Plumbing before on a large remodeling project and cannot say enough about the quality of their work and their professionalism. | All around super company!

Description of Work: Replaced "big box" store sump pump with professional grade pump. Also installed a relief output with hose for my sump in case the storm sewer fills back to the house. I've never dealt with a plumber as professional as Mike was. I don't remember the cost but I do remember it was quite reasonable. Not cheap, but the work was excellent, the site cleaned up properly, and nothing for me to complain about. I will definitely use Mackin for future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: We had a leak from around the base of the toilet which needed to be reseated. The service was very quickly done and the bathroom left with no mess. This provider is at the top of my list for future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: They put a valve in our basement floor to prevent water from entering our basement (in our drain line). Very reasonable, they followed through with prompt service, questions we had and did a great job of cleaning up and putting everything back in place.

Description of Work: I bought a deal for $104 to have a new outside faucet put in the back yard. I called the owner 3 times. On the 3rd time, he left a message at my house saying he'd call me at work. No call received at work. After not hearing from him, I contacted Angie's List to see what I should do. They got my money back from the deal, and I got another supplier to put in a new faucet in my back yard. | |This was very disappointing because this company had done some prior work at my house. Although I thought the prior work was working out, I recently saw a leak mark on my ceiling that the prior work was supposed to take care of, and for which I have an alleged one-year guarantee. Based on the non-response regarding the faucet deal, I'm not expecting this company to support its one-year guarantee on the bathroom (prior) work. Very disappointing all the way around, which is unfortunate. |
