The person that came out was professional and courteous. He took the time to see if it could be fixed. And showed me things about the old and new garabage disposal. He was able to replace my garbage disposal quickly and applied the discount to the bill. And I was pleasantly surprised to see him putting away all of the things that I had taken out from under the sink.

The work turned out excellent. I would use this company again.

We have used them more than one time. The work has always turned out very well. It’s a small company, so you work with the same main guy each time. He is reliable and he comes on time hewn he says he’s going to. His pricing his fair and it’s nice to always deal with the same person and get to know him.

Mike is fabulous. Since I am a frequent customer, he gives me awesome discounts and is competitive with his rates. He is fast and he is reliable. He always dresses professional and he is very nice and friendly. He does excellent work and he is someone I will always use. He can be trusted and there have never been any issues. He is by far the best plumber I have ever used.

My water heater developed a leak from the top, and after talking with Mike by phone I decided that due to its age, I'd rather just go for replacement. I called end of day Friday, and Mike offered to come out on Saturday (but I couldn't accept because we had a wedding to attend). Instead, Mike showed up first thing Monday morning, new tank ready to go, and got right to work. He was professional, his bill exactly matched the estimate given over the phone, and he cleaned up any mess. Would definitely recommend this company.

The plumber went out of his way and worked late to fix our problem. He stayed until 7:00pm on a Friday night, to get the job done for us before going home to his family. He was polite, neat, clean and tidy, and he knew exactly what to do.

I called this company on a Monday morning for a plumbing problem for a rental property I have in Canton. Mike said that he wouldn't be able to get to it until Wed or Thursday. I gave him my tenant's phone number and asked that he call her to schedule the service. I expected that he would call her that day to schedule for later in the week. As of Wed evening, he had not yet contacted her. I sent an email on Mackin's website to ask what was going on. I received a response Thursday morning saying they would not be able to do the service call. It took him 4 DAYS to let me know he wouldn't be coming!! Meanwhile, my tenant has been sitting there waiting for the plumber to call. I don't know why he has such high ratings on Angies' List. How he acted with me was completely unprofessional.

The work was good. The parts were expensive. Mike did a good job and came right away. I was pleased with the work.

They did a great job. It was an emergency call, and they were able to come out right away and fix the problem.

Our sewer line backed up, and I called them based on other reviews on this site. He came out the same day, and snaked the drain. Unfortunately his equipment got stuck on the clog and even after a valiant effort he was unable to dislodge it. He called in some help, but they could not get there until the next day, so he had to schedule another appointment. Came out again, and removed the source of the clog. He cleaned up after himself and was very nice and professional. I was happy with the service and price and I will definitely use this company again.

They came in determined the problem, recommended a couple solutions and fixed problem based on what we wanted.

Mike was just what we were looking for. He handled all are needs like a true professional. He was here when he said he would be and the job was done as he said it would be.

I was very happy with the service. He was at my house when he said he'd be there. He gave me an estimate and was able to do the work that day, like he said he would. He also checked for a gas leak on the stove, and repaired it for no extra cost. He had a problem re-installing the stove door, and was willing to come back and fix it or send another repairman to fix it at his cost. It was no problem, once I found my manual, the door was easy to re-install. He shows up looking very professional and clean. He left the kitchen looking better than when he came in. I've had other plumbers working on my house before, but I won't go back to them now that I've used Mackin and Son. I'll be calling him again for some work on another house and I'll recommend him to relatives and friends.

He was personable, professional, polite, and he was very neat. He was very punctual. When he said he was going to be here at 8 he was here 5 minutes before. He sent a thank you note to us and said he appreciated our business. I will use him again!

It went very well we were very pleased with the results

Mike showed up right at the scheduled time. He drained the old water heater and removed it from the house. He installed a new A. O. Smith hot water heater, finishing the job well within the amount of time he had predicted it would take. That was 12 days ago, and it is working fine.

I had poor water pressure that was non-existent when multiple faucets were running. Mike quoted the job in parts, basement and first floor, so that there were options if I wanted only part of the work done. We scheduled the job around my availability. Mike came out to do the basement work first and saved a sample of the pipe that he had removed. The rust had decreased the opening by half. My water pressure was so much better, I was amazed at the difference. For the first floor, Mike only needed half a day, but I had no access to the plumbing behind the sink. I took down the paneling in a bedroom before he arrived to allow him to cut the plaster and lathe to get to the pipes. I will fix the hole by putting in an access panel and replacing the original paneling. Mike completed the job quickly and charged what he quoted even though he replaced the valves that he thought were in need of replacement and were not considered in the original estimate. Also, he replaced the supply line under the sink without additional cost because I had a leak. He seems to go above and beyond and is more than fair. He was professional and courteous as well. I will definitely use Mackin and Sons in the future and will and have recommended them to anyone. They also have the drive and availability to be there when needed unlike some of the larger more well known places. When you call, Mike answers. It's also nice that I got to work with the same person I spoke to on the phone. Very satisfied with their exceptional service. They score perfect.
