Mike Mackin has done an outstanding job from the beginning to the end of the repair project. Courteous gave clear explanation of jobs, reasonable pricing. Job was done very quickly. Email communication was great!

Mike does a great job! Did all that was asked of him, all with a smile on his face. We replace all copper in the house with the exception of the second floor bathrooms(going to remodel soon). We had to replace due to pinholes starting to appear from the corrosive local water. The job was done over a few days, Mike always had water running by the end of the day. Very satified. Mike will get all of our remodeling work.

I called Mackin and Sons at around 11:30 on Friday morning and left a message because our sump pump had stopped working and we had water in our basement. Mike called me back by 1:00 and set up a time to come out and take care of the problem. I had called other plumbers even before Mackin and Sons, and some of those guys did not even return my phone call until Monday afternoon . Mike came out at 5:30 on Friday and took care of the problem in under an hour, and my basement was pretty much dry by the time I went to bed Friday night. I would definitely recommend Mackin and Sons...Mike is a nice guy and definitely knows what he is doing!

Our kitchen sink was stopped up. As it turned out, the stoppage was nowhere near the sink, but twenty or so feet away in the basement drainpipe from the sink. It took the plumber almost two hours to locate the stoppage, then to cut out a piece of the plastic pipe, drain the pipe, and replace the excised portion. Nonetheless, he charged only the rate he had quoted -- plus giving us an Angie's List discount. He was positive and upbeat the entire time, and presented himself in a professional manner. Though we have lived in our house for 11 years, and have called several plumbers, we were not really happy with any of them. We will call this plumber again, when we need plumbing help.

Communication up to the date of work was suspect. Had trouble getting in touch with Mike and it would be a couple days before he got back to me. I chalked it up to that I was not in an emergency situation with my plumbing. The work was performed nicely. Cleanup was excellent. The work he performed seems to be high quality. Personable and willing to do the work in the way you would like it. The products used seem to be good quality. I believe Mike would cut the work he would do in order to save you money if it didn't need to be done. I would definitely call on Mike again to do more work.

Everything went extremely well... it is nice to feel that the person servicing your property is knowledgeable and fair.

Mike replaced a broken outdoor freeze proof outside hose faucet with a better looking, better quality all metal faucet which looked great compared to mostly plastic one that was there before. I used money from an "Angie's List deal" to pay for this faucet, and because the deal was for just a standard outdoor faucet, I paid $60 additional ( I knew I would be paying extra for before he came over). While he was at the house, I also had him install new toilet innards which I had purchased and had been unable to install myself because I couldn't remove a bolt. Mike discounted the installation by the cost of my parts. He was punctual, thorough, neat, efficient, friendly, and called before he left the previous client to let me know he was on his way. I was especially pleased with the outdoor faucet "upgrade", as looks are important to me. Will hire him again. I had been wanting to find a new plumber, as I've been unhappy with the neatness of past plumbers I've hired and the quality of the workmanship.

The job went perfectly. I used Mackin and Sons because of previous work they have done for me. In Wadsworth, the city water eats copper pipe so you either replace it or get leaks. Mike Mackin replaced it quickly and once again did a thorough job. It is hard to find good people who take pride in their work. I will use him again.

I was installing a new toilet and found out that the closet (or toilet) flange was broken beyond repair. So I called Mackin and Sons Plumbing which is highly rated by Angies List. Mike Mackin answered the phone and said he would fix the problem the next day. He arrived on time, He as very thorough and didn't cut any corners. He replace the flange and installed the new toilet. Everything is working perfectly.

Mike did a great job. I recently moved into my house and found out that my main water shut off wouldn't turn the water off completely and the sump pump wasn't kicking on, which caused some water to enter the basement.He did a quick job replacing the water shut off and surrounding piping for a very reasonable price. And I feel much better knowing that I don't have to run outside every time it rains and manually operate the sump pump. Good, professional, affordable work. I will be calling them again in the future for my other plumbing needs!

Mike is a friendly, professional, punctual, plumber. He gave a complete estimate for a bathroom- laundry closet remodeling job and work with me on changes or let me add-on additional work for him to do. He provided me with a written document with any changes I made so that I knew exactly what my cost would be for his services. I felt his prices was resonable and affordable for the service he provided. I highly recommend Mike for all your plumbing needs, You won't be disappointed with the quality of his work

We moved into this home in February and found the master shower not working. Called Mackin & Sons (from Angie's List) to investigate.Found the shower supply lines turned off due to a major leak in the shower fixtures - this was a very expensive European style shower with 8 - 10 shower heads. Investigation also found that the subfloor and floor joists were rotted due to a leak in the shower base. Mackin and Sons helped us to explore all options from repair to replacement. The master bath originally did not have a tub in it, so we elected to do full demolition of the old shower and replace it with both a shower and tub. I felt that Mike Mackin provided honest advice from the start and we were very comfortable with his company. The project lasted 7 working days plus a two week wait for the glass surround. All workers were polite, sensitive to our needs during this time and cleaned the work space each day with an intensive clean-up at the end of the project. When unforseen problems arose during the project, we were treated fairly and honestly. The job was completed within the timeline they provided. I will use Mackin and Sons again, and would recommend them to friends and family. This company performed very very well in circumstances that were "unplanned" and unusual, so if you have a complicated or special type of plumbing project, this is a good company to hire. We are extremely happy with our "new" master bathroom.

We had a blowout on our water heater in the afternoon. We called Mackin & Sons at 6:30pm, they answered the phone right away, and made time for us the next morning. They arrived exactly when they said they would, and they were corteous, professional, and reasonably priced.

I had called someone else, and he wanted twice as much as this company did. They were really courteous.

Mike was responsive in returning my call for scheduling an appointment. Unfortunately, a valve broke on New Year's Eve Day, so I contacted Mike. My spouse was able to stop the water and Mike said it would hold until Monday. Mike showed up promplty on Monday to replace the valve and provide the estimate. Mike is currenly in the process of installing a reverse osmosis water system in my house. He replaced 3 toilets and a shower head today.

Loved the on call time frame! He is my plumber!
