Description of Work: Larry came by to give us an estimate for blowing insulation in our exterior walls. He was on time, listened to what we were interested in having done, and gave us some advice about further steps he'd recommend. Because our house has asbestos siding he said they'd need to drill through the interior walls. The crew came last week and carried out the job. They estimated it would take a day and a half, longer than usual because it involved drilling through our plaster/lathe walls. We expected dust, so covered everything. There was dust, but all the other debris from drilling 250+ holes was cleaned up thoroughly by the crew. The crew were pleasant and friendly, answered the questions our 3 and 5 year old boys asked, and allowed them to watch the process as long as they wanted. The first night afterward we could feel the difference as the temperature dropped outdoors and stayed warm inside (with no heater on). That's a new experience in this house, which used to be so drafty. The cost was $2,088.

Description of Work: We used C & M Insulation because we have a house that was built in the 1980's and over time the insulation compacted. It was a cellulose product and we had them come in and blow in fiberglass to increase the R value in two spaces of our tri-level.

+ -1 moreTwo men arrived with their big truck within 20 minutes of the time promised. They got to work immediately - laid plastic down to cover the floor of the workshop, and started doing the prep work in the attic. Because they had such a large area to do (approx. 3400 sq. ft.), it took almost 5 hours, but they worked steadily that whole time. They cleaned everything up when they left, and there was not a sign in the workshop or our driveway, that they had ever been here. We would most definitely recommend them for this type of job.
Description of Work: We had 19" thick insulation blown into our attic, through an access door in the ceiling of the workshop area.

The job actually took only a little over 2 hours to complete. They were polite and went over the estimate of the work to be perfomed. They actually put a little more insulation in than required. They cleaned up afterward. Excellent service.

They did a great job and the difference in the house was immediately noticable! I would recommend them to friends, and would certainly not hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: C&M Added 10 inches of blown insulation to my attic and installed soffit vent chutes to maintain ventilation.They also fixed some existing rolled insulation, removed some junk left in the attic by the previous owner, and installed a block of insulation above the attic access panel.

Description of Work: Had additional insulation blown into attic. At time of estimate, they recommended that I replace my old gable exhaust fan. I bought a fan at Lowe's and they removed the old one and installed the new one. This was not included in the insulation estimate, so I gave them an extra $50.00 for the labor.

+ -1 moreCorey and his helper first laid protective plastic before bringing the tube in the house. They foamed a crack in the attic wall before they started so I wouldn't have unwelcome visitors. Within an hour, they finished 1100 sq feet of attic floor, added a new block of insulation to the attic trap door, and cleaned up. Very professional, polite, and helpful. I would use this company again without question.

I gathered several estimates, and they were not only the most reasonable, but prompt, courteous, and the men who performed the work were extremely neat and very considerate of my cats, and not letting them slip outside in the process. Very professional (and nice!) people I would highly recommend.
