I had sent out for help with a basement toilet, drain issue. The gentlemen came over. I explained recent events, concerns, and thoughts. They did the inspection, we sat, and viewed the drain. Found issues further issues and causes with the drain. We shared information to draft best solutions. They wrote an invoice. Whole time they were polite, and professional. I will be in touch in near future, about repairs. Thanks

I gave them an overall 5 Star Rating because they did install the hot water tank on the day that it was supposed to be installed, at the agreed price. However, here are some things to keep in mind: 1. The agreement with the owner (Rob) was that they would install my water tank first thing in the morning - the owner told me that the crew would be out between 8 and 10. Well, they did not show up at the agreed time, and so I called their office around 10:15. The office said that the crew was in Bay Village, and that I would be next. So, I basically literally wasted my entire morning waiting for the work crew, who finally showed up around 11:15. Needless to say, I also had to change my afternoon plans, and this project then pretty much took up my entire day. So much for an agreement... 2. My municipality requires a chimney liner if only one HVAC device vents into the chimney. I'm not sure if the owner was aware of this, but he ended up getting in touch with a roofing company to install the chimney liner. The roofing company was supposed to be onsite when the tech's arrived to replace the water tank, but the roofers were nowhere to be found. I had to call 1-800-Plumber back again, and they said that they would contact the roofer about it. The roofer eventually showed up, and the roofing company that 1-800-Plumber hired was seemingly inexperienced, and the two roofing company workers were quite gruff with me. They also hammered the aluminum frame for the chimney liner cap into shape, by pounding against the clay chimney. My fear is that they weakened and/or damaged the clay chimney, but you can't see because they hammered the aluminum frame around the clay chimney, and any potential damage is concealed. It looks like h - - - (almost like an amateurish DIY job), and the roofers repeatedly traipsed around back and forth on my roof, wearing off the roof shingle granules. Lastly, the roofers spent more time sitting in their truck than they did installing the chimney liner. 3. The 1-800-Plumber tech's did not ask to use my utility sink, but used it anyway and left a quantity of mortar material in my sink. I hate to think how much mortar material ended up down the drain, and if I will have a drain backup at some point in the future because of mortar clogging up the drain. 4. Speaking of mortar, I was quite disappointed in how much mortar material ended up on the new water tank vent, and how poorly the mortar was applied to the chimney. I was busy trying to figure out what all of the pounding was going on with my chimney outside (and, quite concerned about possible damage to it), otherwise I would have been down in the basement to address the mortar issue(s). My plan is to paint the chimney eventually, and the poor mortar job adds a complicating factor. 5. The 1-800-Plumber tech's forgot to turn the new hot water tank on before they left, and they also forgot their bucket of mortar material in the basement. I then called the company back for a third time in the same day to get their tech's to come back out. The tech's did come back out to turn on the hot water tank and to retrieve their mortar bucket. I'm guessing that they never got their lunch that day, and they were anxious to just pack up and move on. I hate not being the first job of the day with any contractor (especially if I am told that I will be), knowing that there might be complications, and boy did I ever have complications, I really hate being told that I'm going to be the first job of the day, and I end up being 2nd... ** This is an honest review, of course, and I posted the comments so that other consumers are informed and prepared. None of these comments are intended to be personal.

Everything went great. There were no issues.

A free estimate cost 220 for them to run a camera and. Tell me the septic was full. I then spent 350 to have tank cleaned out. And the drain is still backing up. .so over $500. And the problem is still not fixed.

He told me exactly what was wrong. Quoted me a reasonable price. I rescheduled the work to be completed a few days later.

They were prompt and did all the work required and also replaced a toilet that was an add-on the same day.

Digging up your front yard to repair a damaged sewer line is always painful but 1-800 worked with me, explained everything as they went, consoled me and ended up doing an efficient and expert job. Yeah, it cost a few bucks but they made me feel like they legitimately earned every cent of their pay. Recommended.

Both workers were cordial and did their work in a timely manner.

They were very accommodating. When I first called, their first available slot was on Thursday. However, there was a cancellation, and my appointment was moved to Tuesday afternoon. On the day of the appointment, they were able to come out in the morning which allowed me to go on with my regular afternoon activities. The technician was also friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He also left me with quotes on other problems that need to be addressed. I was very pleased with their service.

Good work but very expensive!

I was pleased with the work that they did. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves well. The technician Robbie was a pleasure to deal with, he really did care about customer service. The owner Rob was also easy to talk with, and responsive to phone calls and questions. I am planning on using this company again, and have already referred them. My only negative was that once the job began we discovered it was not going to be nearly as involved as we had originally thought and that while I was able to negotiate to lower the price some, I think that it shouldâ ve been possible to negotiate further They will be returning to jet the main sewer line in the very near future and did give me enough of a credit to cover that.
