This is our third house buy and definitely Michael (from Heritage Home Inspections) was our best experience by far. The attention to detail during the inspection, the format to deliver the inspection, and the post-inspection debrief and patience to answer all our questions was outstanding. Add to the above that this inspection was done during the COVID19 pandemic, with several restrictions in place, making everything more difficult. Frankly, I couldn't recommend Michael more. I would give him A+ in every field.

Michael was willing to take all that time that I needed to understand everything. Fortunately, there were very few problems with the house. He was much more thorough than I ever would have thought to be.

This couldn't have gone better. Michael Brady of Heritage Home Inspections found items we were not aware of but also assured us that the home we were buying was in relatively good shape which eased our minds. He took lots of time explaining what the issues were, what items we might also want taken care of, and what parts of the house were in especially good shape, e.g., the roof. Brady also shared information that identified what items might need to be replaced within 2-3 years, e.g, the hot water heater because of its life expectancy. We were thrilled with his service, friendly style, and thorough knowledge.

This is the third home I have purchased and had inspected in the last 9 years and the inspection and report Heritage Homes provided was the best by far. Michael was professional, courteous and accommodating. He arrived on time for the scheduled appointment and conducted a very thorough inspection in a timely manner. In addition to inspecting the home from the foundation to the chimney top, at my request he closely examined aspects of the roof and a structure in the yard that I was concerned about as well as inspecting some trees on the property that were raising safety concerns. He discovered a major electrical issue with the fuse box that I was able to discuss with the seller and make plans to remedy before moving my family into the home. Michael's actual written reports, which he completed and e-mailed within 24 hours of the inspection, were a pleasant surprise to me. The formatting was organized, clear, concise and had easy to see COLOR photos of each thing he listed in the report. The report was detailed and perspectives were labeled with levels of concern ranging from safety hazard, minor or major concern, and maintenance. This enabled me to determine which issues to discuss with the seller and what home care details I would need to address as the new home owner. Having a home inspection performed might seem like an unnecessary cost to the home buying process but the information about the home and the peace of mind it provides is well worth the cost.
