The guys were great. They kept my home clean and gave me the bathroom I had envisioned. There were some rotted wood and plumbing issues that were discovered after demo. They dealt with these without any delay in the planned timeline. This was a very easy experience.

A great experience. Justin and his crew are easy to work with and actually a pleasure to have around. I was kept up to speed all through the process. This group will be my first call for any project I have.

I had the same experience as some of the others that gave Justin/Meister a poor review. I found his communications and demeanor oddly arrogant. Even if he hadn't missed an appointment, and even if he had taken any amount of his valuable time to write thoughtful, detailed and communicative correspondence, it was fairly obvious we were going to be disappointed in the end - for multiple other reasons. I had mixed feelings about sharing our experience and my impression of Justin. I believe a lot of what I saw is character-based, which is not necessarily what everyone is concerned with when they hire a contractor. Also, potentially continuing any kind of conversation with the person I've described above, just seems silly. Suffice to say that there are plenty of people in town that I've encountered with other projects we've had done, who take pride in their work and the way they communicate with customers. If that is important to you, I would suggest going another direction.

It was great. We have worked with Meisters before with great results, this time was no different. The crew are polite and efficient. They really have made home improvement projects enjoyable! We did have to wait several weeks for the project because they had other projects scheduled. WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Thanks again Justin and Crew! See you next time!

Good. Always prompt. Justin is a nice person and easy to work with as his crew. I added work on during the project and it was no problem. They did a good job cleaning up when done. Will use again.

This company is so great to work with. It is very clear that the owner takes great pride in the quality of the work and the ease of the process. The crew went above and beyond to make the construction process as easy and non- invasive as possible. Justin always had a suggestion or solution to any question that arose during the process. After our first experience we have worked with Meisters several more times. You will be satisfied with this choice!

Was very pleased with the result. We had the same workers from week to week who were very pleasant and easy to work with. They handled changes in path very well and worked well with my other contractors. He brought in areas of expertise as needed and responded promptly to my correspondence.

Justin, the owner, is completely professional and his employees are polite and professional. All work was completed as discussed and there were frequent discussions to make sure I was satisfied with the progress. The attention to detail met my expectations and the overall result is wonderful! Our new room is beautiful, and we are getting lots of compliments on how nice it looks. The room is cozy and comfortable and does not feel like a basement at all. It is fresh and traditional/contemporary. The built in seating under the stairs is a favorite place for my grandchildren to hand out and read. There is storage under the seat for an extra bonus!

Justin and his crew are professional in their work and communications. They were in our home for many weeks (while we lived there) and worked hard to clean-up each day and stage the work to be efficient. This is the second time we have used their services. Highly recommended.

They did a FANTASTIC job! I regret I did not do this review earlier, because it was a very good experience with Justin Swartz and his crew at Meisters. I met with Justin in June 2015. Basically I needed 4 interior bedroom/bathroom doors and frames replaced, 4 closet doors replaced with 6-panel sliding doors, all new hardware for the doors, and 5 rooms painted plus closets. I spoke with Justin about issues with damaged walls, moving a light switch, adding a shelf to a closet, painting older utility doors and cabinets, and replacing baseboards in a bedroom. Justin was very knowledgeable and professional, and it was obvious he has been in the business for a while and could accommodate my requests without issue. Justin explained up front that he was very busy at the time and explained that it would be about 3 months before he could take on the job. This fit into my schedule just fine. Justin emailed me a quote within the week as promised, and I accepted the proposal. The price seemed fair, and it was slightly less than another estimate I had received. From meeting with Justin and from the other reviews on Angies List, I was also more comfortable contracting with Meisters. In July I received an email from Justin suggesting the work could be scheduled the second week in September (this was exactly when he expected to be able to start the job). I agreed. He said the work could be completed in a week. Justin and his crew came the second week of September. I was impressed that Justin had such a good memory (and had taken such good notes) that when he came to the house he immediately took his crew throughout the house and laid out all items that needed to be done, the order they were to be done in, and specific details that I had talked to him about 3 months ago! The work went smoothly, the workers were all polite and professional, and the job was done within the time promised. The interior doors and the closet doors look great, and the painting was done with precision. Several issues we had with the walls were dealt with and they fixed them and the painting job was fantastic. I could tell the crews were experienced by their attention to detail and the quality of their work. Justin and his foreman stayed in contact with me throughout the process, and I couldn't be happier with the finished product! I am VERY happy with the job Meisters did, and I highly recommend them.

The crew was punctual, efficient, and flexible. We were extremely happy with the quality of work and commitment to get things right. Our doors look beautiful. They were also willing to offer their professional opinions on other projects we look to do in the near future, which is helping us prioritize our changes. We will definitely use Justin and his crew in the near future! Highly recommended.

We paid a LOT of money to have a stone patio/wall built approx. 5 years ago (by the company Bello Giardino). The wall appeared to be cracking and falling down during the past 3 years. We've since learned that This was likely due in part to the inadequate single drainage piping that had been installed by BG. Fortunately we contacted Justin - they were professional, talented, punctual, and reasonably priced. Our patio/wall looks great! We have used Justin's services before and trust him completely. We wish we had found him sooner!!

They respond quickly in emergency repair work and finish the job in a timely manner. They were thorough in their work, and cleaned up nicely after they were done. They were friendly and arrived right on schedule. I would highly recommend them to all of my friends.

Justin and his crew (particularly Kyle) created a beautiful room in our basement and as an add on stripped the wallpaper and repainted the stairwell. They were pleasant to work with. They suggested things I had not thought of and took care of them adding a return air vent and a Cable outlet. They were professional and pleasant throughout. We were close to finishing and so they went and got the carpet and had the guys come in to do the job at 5:00 and were done by 7:00. Got so I looked forward to having Kyle come each day so I will have to find another project so I can have them come back. Job well done, within budget and it was fun to have them around. Justin was great. He d.id a wonderful job of enlarging the counter space to accommodate a larger stove. He is professional, arrived when he said he would and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use his service again!

I called on Thursday and Justin said he would call on Friday "mid day" to come and give me an estimate for the work needed. I waited and no call. He said that he lives 5 minutes away. Very disappointing. If Justin didn't want to do the work, he should have just said so and I would have made other arrangements.

Awesome! We would hire this company again anytime. Justin returned calls promptly and everything was done exactly as described and on time. Their work is outstanding - the doors look great! All of the men that came with Justin to do the work were professional, polite and friendly and worked hard. My husband and I very much appreciated their old fashioned work ethic and the quality of their work. The costs were well within reason and when we added on having a ceiling fan installed as well, they added it to the bill and just completed it at the same time. Would definitely recommend this company and I've actually given their name to people at work already in case they need work done.

It was perfect. He actually centered a lot of my pieces. They look amazing and he did a fabulous job. I did not feel uncomfortable at all. He was very professional. I would highly recommend this company. A++++

Excellent communication, punctuality, cleanliness, quality work and cooperative with changes. These guys went over the top to be sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. Actually, they went beyond satisfaction, doing many little extras to insure perfection!

We first used Meisters last year to paint and fix a few things around the house before we put it on the market. His team was friendly, which I appreciate since Im usually at home with and without the children. They are professional and sort of become part of the "family" while they are here. We used them last month again to do some painting, plumbing and electrical work in our new house. We will always call Justin, for our future projects. He is our go to "guy". His employees are friendly, polite, professional and their work is always excellent and if its not quite right, he will fix it. I highly recommend him and if his schedule is tight, he is worth the wait.

Justin provided the estimate and was very efficient and listened closely to what I wanted done and was close to being the lowest bidder. Provided detailed written estimate quickly.

The installer was very friendly and professional, and only charged me the quoted price, even though the install ran a little long due to unforeseen circumstances. Will hire again in the future!
