Scott Balicki

Scott came to our home twice. The first time was to get an idea of the piece that had to be taken apart so it would fit in our basement. When we moved into the house the movers were unable to get the sofa into the basement due to the placement of the door to the basement, ceiling height and just overall lack of room to maneuver the furniture down the stairs. I was given Scott's number by Earla's furniture and he did an excellent job. He had originally quoted around $300 over the phone just as a rough idea of what it would take. Upon the first visit he said that it would take him about 4 hours to complete the work and would be around that $300 estimate he quoted initially without looking at the piece. Today Scott arrived promptly at 10am and got right to work. He took the one arm of the sofa and he and I moved it into the basement with no issues. I just removed a door to help us move it and I cleaned up the little debris that was left after Scott got things taken apart (this allowed him to keep working and I had no issues over this at all). He was able to get the sofa put back together in a very timely manner and it feels great and works just like we wanted in our basement. Very courteous and professional. I would use him again if I were to need his services.

He was efficient and although the repair was difficult he got it completed in a few weeks and it looks great.
