I went with Curt at Hardwood Flooring for Less to refinish our upstairs hardwood floors due to the good reviews and his competitive price. However, I am very dissapointed in the end product that I received. This may have been my negligence, but they did not take any remaining nails or staples out of the wood before they sanded the wood down, so we now have several spots with burned marks or holes. This is a minor grievance. My biggest grievance is they specifically mentioned when providing the quote that they would replace two boards that were cracked/splintered, and would attempt to fix the board at the top of our stairs that wasn't lining up correctly with the next board. None of these repairs were made when we came home. When I wrote them the check for the final payment, Curt's son promised he would be in touch when they had the scrap wood available to replace the boards, and for the top of the stair, he said he wouldn't want to try to do anything to it as it may damage it. A couple months went by with no call. I called him repeatedly and was given excuses, and then decided to call Curt. Curt had someone come out within the next week. The guy only replaced one board and didn't put a clear sealant over it. I called Curt and he promised to come out himself the next day, but he didn't show. I have not been able to reach him since. We were out of town when the floors were finished, but I wish I had stayed in town to keep an eye on the guys who performed the work. They also clearly had used our bathroom, as the toilet handle was broken when we returned. I give them a D rating. The only A they receive from me is in the price, although now I'm going to have to pay for someone to fix their mistakes.

Description of Work: My husband and I decided to do a make over on our home. We went to Panel Town and Doug was both friendly and took his time to explain things. It was Panel Town that recommend Curt Fairclough. Curt and his crew came in and ripped all the carpet out of our home, and put down hardwood flooring in our entire home. The guys were fantastic and hardworking, you couldn't have asked for a better crew. While Curt was a little late the first day, the guys immediately got to work once they arrived and worked the entire day. It took approximately 5 days total, as we did our entire house. The guys sat up their tools in the garage and cleaned up after themselves nightly before they left. They started with our down stairs first, and worked their way upstairs to bedrooms(4), and bathrooms(2). My flooring looks great! I would highly recommended Curt and his crew! Thanks for a job well done guys!
