Skettle Electric were wonderful to work with. They were responsive, punctual and professional. Mike took the time to discuss with me my various options and the pricing associated with each. Tony did a great job with installation, and even fixed a light fixture that wasn't working at no charge. They left my basement clean after the job was finished. They were also considerate of (and friendly toward) my dog! I will use them again in the future for certain, and I will recommend them to others enthusiastically.

The process was smooth as silk. No surprises.

I give them an A on everything. I plan to keep using them in the future.

Excellent & very responsive customer service - Kathy handled the quote and details very efficiently. Within a few days after accepting the proposal, I was informed of the work date. The crew showed up on time and completed the job (including coordinating the city inspection) within the same day. All in all, a very quick and thorough job! I wouldn't hesitate to use Skettle Electric for future electrical work!

Skettle was responsive to a request for quotes (done within hours by email) and scheduled and accomplished the two days of work within the space of 10 days, including scheduling a Euclid electrical inspection after the job was completed. The whole job (including the Euclid point-of-sale inspection) was a good experience. Everyone stayed on schedule and on task. Cleanup was excellent. Task accomplishment was excellent. The Euclid inspector pointed out one easily corrected item, and the job was finished without difficulty.

Contacting Skettle was easy. I spoke with Cathy every time I needed something and she was always polite, professional and responsive. Tony took the lead in the initial visit and saw the work all the way through. They were flexible with our needs and very easy to work with. The job took at least 3 full days and was very involved. The men had to work in some difficult areas feeding wires and rewiring. Not knowing exactly what we needed, they took the lead and made suggestions with light sizes, locations, switch types, etc. All of the ideas were very reasonable and there was not discussion about extra time needed for changes that we had made or extra cost. There were no hidden costs and they kept their word on the length of time needed. On average, there were 3-4 guys here at a time to keep the job going and we felt very comfortable with them in our home. They worked hard for the entire day, knew their work and were very professional. They were very careful about cleaning everything up too. We will have them to do work again and I would suggest them for and electrical job.

They did an excellent job. They just did it right. We will have them back when we have more work to do. I would grade them highly in all spheres. The person who is his secretary or might be his wife is at the top of everything. The owner came out and talked to us. We asked for permit, and he got the permit. He had everything done.

They did a good job. The price was good and they came on time.

I had a small service call, simply replace two pronged outlets with GFCI outlets, and to figure out why a light fixture wasn't working. They showed up 15 minutes EARLY, which took me by surprise, but a good surprise. Gentleman was very profression and quick, overall service lasted under an hour- they didn't milk the hours. The price was fair and very reasonable (I lived a couple miles away so there was no service fee for travelling). Electrician was honest and told me the light needed more work but rather than him go to the store and charge it on my time, he wrote down what I needed and told me to call back and request it so I didn't have to pay for his travel time. Very nice, very professiona;. Good job guys.

I called this company based on the reviews here on Angie's List. They were very prompt, and came out at the perfect time. Half the lights in my house stopped working, but the breaker was not tripped. Don (I believe), was very knowledgeable, and was able to trace back the problem in about an hour (previous owners had done a bad job connecting the nob & tube to new wiring, and it came loose). He fixed this right up, and also helped solve a GFI issue in the kitchen. Overall, spent about three hours fixing these two issues. Would use again!

We're very pleased with their work. They did everything promised and more. For example, the bathroom fan/light/heater was a very quiet unit, but there was noise when it operated. Karl kept searching for the source of the noise until he found it in accumulated dust and dirt in the ductwork from the unit to the outside; and he cleaned out the ductwork. Our home is an older home with all the idosyncrasies of an older home, making repair/replacement work more difficult. The people from Skettle Electric stayed with the task, explaining what they found and alternative ways to address the issues with patience. Again, we're very pleased with the work.

Overall the work went very well and was completed in a few days as the work needed was extensive. All of our outdoor lights are now working.

I had to wait for service because I was told there was death in the family but the company did come out when promised and installed the light as promised. No problem at all and I would use this company again if the need arises again.

Most of the scheduling was done via email, and the proposal for the work was emailed to me too, which was very convenient for me. They were able to schedule appointments for the estimate and for the actual work on dates and times that were convenient for me. Tony was right on time for our scheduled appointment for the estimate, and the guys who came out to do the work arrived promptly as well. They were polite and clean and quiet and hardworking. They completed all the work in just over 2 hours with almost no disruption to me. They moved and replaced any furniture that needed to be moved. This was a project I had been putting off for a while, but if I had known how smoothly it was going to go, I would have done it long ago. This whole experience was a pleasure. I was also happy that they accept Mastercard which was another nice convenience for me.

I called the company about one week before the work was done. They showed up as promised on the arranged day and time. I was very impressed on the insistence on doing the work as per code - that there had to be a dedicated line for the de-icing cables. Safety is so important in electrical work. When they were done I had a new box on the front of the house for the de-icing cables, safely placed under the gutters, and a clearly labeled on-off switch by the main electrical box in the basement. They took the time after the job was completed to explain the system before they left. I will use this company again.

The 3 guys arrived exactly on time. Tony & his fellow workers were extremely professional, well mannered, kind and knowledgable. They worked for a full day and at the end of the day went to my daughter's house to help her with a light fixture. I cannot say enough good things about them....Every job was done to perfection. They were so easy to be around. Any questions that I had they answered and were very polite and experienced. I recommend Skettle Electric with the highest marks. Absolutely Awesome!!!

Amazing. Tony and Mike did a fantastic job. I had another electrician tell me he would have to rip open the walls to do the upgrades. Skettle was able to do the work by drilling small holes. They even patched the holes. A little touch-up paint and it will be as good as new. Everything was vacuumed and they left it cleaner than before they started. I couldn't be happier with the work. They far exceeded my expectations and their quote was about the mid-point of all the companies I contacted. I would highly recommend them and will use them again when I'm ready to upgrade the electricals in the garage.

What a nightmare. I would never use this company again. I only called them because my regular electrician (who I found on Angie's List and who I love completely) was not available due to some family commitments. Sigh. I wish that I had waited. Kathy sent two young men to do the work. One of the men did the work, the other man spent the time texting on his phone. Every once in a while he would hold a vacuum cleaner or he would sweep a floor. Every time I checked on the work, he was on his cell phone. The company tried to charge me for the time that it took for them to drive to Home Depot and back (I live 10 minutes from Home Depot if every light is red; they were gone more than an hour.) They also lied about the cost of the materials. The best part was when I asked what the second person was for and the guy doing the work told me that he was there to hold the vacuum cleaner. Really. But two things really upset me. The first was that they scratched my newly refinished hardwood floors (see attached picture.) The second was the fact that the guy who did the work decided to have an argument with me in my front yard. Kathy wanted to address the problem by sending "someone" out to "look" at the damage to my floors but what is an electrician going to do about floors? Also, why would I want these non-professional people in my house again? The funny thing about Kathy is that when I called to complain about the men (after they had left) she told me that she had had "problems" with them but sent them "alone" to do the work at my house because it was an "easy job." Sigh. I have written really great reviews, on Angie's List, about many of the contractors that I've met this way and I am sad to have had this experience at all. I hope that future people don't make the same mistake that I did. Don't use this company! Use people that you know and trust!!!!

I enjoy using solid, quality, established small companies for my service needs. Bigger is not always better in my decades of experience. Skettle Electric is now my repair choice for electric issues. Skettle's tech, Don, did a fine job at a surprisingly modest price.

Efficient, pleasant and reasonable. Couldn't beat it!

They put in some new outlets, a garage door light and a porch light. They put up electrical boxes in three or four bedrooms; the boxes hadn’t been there before. They also put four overhead lights, and two had fans with them. They gave me a quote and stayed within the quote and did the work. I did not ask for any other quote because I have had them before; I am not sure if their prices are high or not. I have an old house that has various problems, but they were fine with that. They were here when they said they would be here and did what I asked them to do. I would rate them highly and would probably use them again in the future.

I go them off Angie’s list. They were great. They were fantastic. They came right away and did what they did what they said they were going to do. They were helpful and they were great in terms of explaining things. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They were really good. They were very professional. The job they had to do in my house was a lot harder than predicted but they still didn't go beyond their estimate. They were very good and very knowledgeable. They walked me through a lot of the stuff. Their people spent a lot of time with me explaining what they did, which they didn't have to do.

They came in and did the job on time. They actually gave me other issues that needed to be resolved and did those jobs as part of the quote. They know their stuff and stick to their estimates. I would use them again in the future if I ever need any work done.
