Old ceiling fan had a larger hole in ceiling, which wasn't a problem. I patched the gap with putty. Installer provided drop cloths and removed shoes to keep area clean. A high quality installation!

Quote visit: this lasted approximately 10 minutes. Mr. Skettle indicated that the plumbing stack would offer a suitable path for the wiring. I received a quote for $650 within a day. Scheduling: due to business of season and conflicts, they were forced to push work back by one day; this seems pretty normal given the time of year. They were scheduled for around 8:30 on the new day and arrived within 20 minutes of that. The work: professional. They ran romex from the basement breaker, up thru the front wall of the house, up to the 2nd floor with minimal thru-the-wall invasiveness. Although they took a different route than what was discussed during the quote visit, the price didn't change from the quote, and the overall scope of the work was what I expected. The punch list: As the work wound down, I inspected the newly installed breakers and outlets. The breakers were 15 amp, not the 20 amp that was discussed during the initial meeting; I pointed this out to one of the electricians who promptly took care of it, replacing with a pair of 20 amp breakers. Both of the installed outlets were properly grounded, however one was loose, i.e. the cover was loose and the outlet itself was loose, so that plugging/unplugging would cause it to move around and even come out a bit. I pointed this out to one of the electricians; he fixed it, also expanding from a standard duplex outlet to a quad; what seems to have happened was that a small piece of surrounding drywall was dented in the initial install, so by enlarging the outlet and hole, the electrician was able to lose the soft piece. The finished work looks and feels solid, and I'm happy with it.

They were good and very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and friendly. They did their job and we have to have for little extra work after he tried what they needed to do when we did our extra work and they did a good job. They are responsive and punctual. We plan to use them again in the future.

Mike arrived in a timely fashion and went right to work. Very efficient and professional. Cleaned up after completing the work and took empty boxes, etc. with him. He answered all my questions and offered suggestions for some future projects which I inquired about. My husband and I both felt that the cost (which included all parts except the ceiling fan) was fair and we would definitely use Skettles again.

Skettle is a good operation. Kathy took my calls and made the appointments promptly with a reminder phone call. The electricians were professional and efficient. The bigger job was very well priced and well done. The second job was smaller and entailed a little trouble shooting and seemed more expensive but overall a good experience. I referred them to my neighbor to install some lights in their house and they were pleased. Always nice to have a referral go well.

From the initial phone call made to Skettle Electric through the final wrap-up call received from Skettle, everything was wonderful. They were willing to work around my schedule and come to my home on a Saturday to conduct the estimate. The visual was completed quickly by Tony Skettle and he informed me Kathy Skettle would send me a written estimate on Monday. I received the estimate as stated and scheduled the service for the following week. The work was performed by professional gentlemen who completed everything in one day. Everything was done just as requested with absolutley no issues. I wish more contractors were like Skettle Electric.

Everything about the experience was very well done. Mike arrived on time, did his work very professionally, covered floor to avoid damage and cleaned up completely afterwards.

we could not be more pleased...there are simply no flaws we can find, either in the quality of service and of the workers themselves, who if anything exceeded exemplary; one can see we've invested a lot of money over several visits, but it worthwhile because the quality of workmanship means we won't have to do it again--and raises the sale value; we have a good bit of electrical work left to do (yes, we're doing a complete refinishing) and see no reason whatever to have anyone else do it;

The electrician opened the main electrical box just inside our garage, turned off the power to the house, cut out the "fried" cable, spliced in new cable and crimped the connectors, bound them with layers of electrical tape, turned the power back on, and all was warm and back on-line once again. The entire job took less than an hour.

Overall it was superb. He examined the entire home, two floors and basement and not only fixed whatever needed to be fixed but help as well with providing some missing parts.

I called the company Tuesday afternoon to make a service appointment . I needed someone to come out and change the electrical cord on my clothes dryer. I had already purchased a new cord. I was told that someone might be able to come later on that same day and if they couldn't come I would receive a call by 3pm. The serviceman did come out that afternoon and he was able to change the cord. I was very satisfied with the promptness, professionalism and the service.

This particular job cost more than we originally expected, but also involved more labor than anticipated. We've used Skettle for quite a few years. The work is always neat, the men polite and the price fair.

Tony was prompt and friendly when he came to quote, and he was not at all overwhelmed by the condition of the existing panel. He understood that we simply needed to get my father's house up to code, so that he could eventually sell it. Tony put my elderly father at ease, and that's not easy to do. Communication from their office was good, and they were very accommodating when scheduling. They sent two electrician's that spent the better part of two days. The quality of the work was high, and I couldn't ask for me. They stayed dedicated to the task at hand.

We have been using Skettle Electric since we bought our house 11 years ago. They are always wonderful. Their rates are very reasonable, they are prompt, professional, efficient, friendly and they thoroughly clean up after they are finished. They did the electrical work in my home office before I had it repainted, and put up a temporary fixture until the room was done. When I scheduled them to return after the painting was complete, they didn't show when they usually do, so I called Kathy Skettle. We realized that I had inadvertently been left off the schedule. Kathy moved everyone around--even though they were already short one person--to make sure the job was done that day as promised. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Although it was time consuming, it went very well and am very pleased with the look. It is awesome!.
