The technician that came out was Mike and he was just fantastic. We had several concerns about the electrical in our house and had several questions that he answered and informed us about findings. When he answered our questions he put it in a way that we would completely understand, very simple and straightforward. We felt a lot better after he left. He did everything very professionally, very efficiently and he is a very personable person

This was my second time using Skettle Electric and they were great. Courteous and professional.

I had scheduled to have the work done on a Monday, but they had an opening for the Friday before, and called to see if I wanted them to come by earlier. That, alone, was good business for me. Pat arrived as scheduled, took car of the electrical box and moved right on to the fixtures. Work was done quickly and professionally. I will definitely keep Skettle Electric's information handy for any future electrical needs!

They are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Replacement of light fixtures and fan went well. Fixing doorbell had it's challenges. I had two other contractors out in the past to repair doorbell without success, as they could not find transformer box. They told me to get a battery operated device. Skettle Electric went above and beyond to resolve the issue, found connection and repaired door bell. Could not be happier with their service, quality and price.I have used them twice in the past and will certainly do so in the future should the situation present itself.

They were awesome. The job was more difficult than they anticipated because my home is older, but they stuck with their original estimate. They even mounted my TV for me at no charge. They've become my preferred electrician.

Emailed original request for service and they replied next working morning- asked to call to schedule service (2 days later). Actually called to arrive earlier in day for appointment. Tecnician Mike assessed job and talked over possible solutions first, then went for supplies. Once returned was constantly on job and flexible enough to modify plans somewhat at my request. Actually cleaned as he went along and kept me up on his progress as he finished jobs. Could not finish last job because he had to help at another site. Took about the time he initially estimated. I will gladly call company back to finish job and fix a few more issues.

They went above and beyond. They were wonderful. They gave me all new light switches and new outlets where there was not any previously. They also got me a permit and everything was by code and when the inspector came, everything was top notch. They were a good company, honest, fair and trust worthy.

I had a wire down and the electric company came out and said they wouldn't put it up until I installed something. I called Skettles and they came out to look at it. They said they could put it up for me. So they fixed it. The man that came out to fix it said he'd come back and finish the job. The big thing was that he got me electricity that day.

They were on time. They finished the project in a minimal amount of time.

The quality of their work is good; everything was done quickly, according to code, and well. They had to run a new line to the outside light, which wasn't an easy project, but they took care of it and removed the old fixture. We're 100% happy with the results.

Do not use them...they tried to take advantage of me and tell me that I needed additional work that did not need to be done. Their estimate was more than double every other estimates! They tried to use scare tactics to convince me extra work had to be done. My plumber happened to be there when they came to give me a quote and he overheard my conversation with Skettle Electric. After the Skettle Eletrician left, my plumber was upset and told me that he felt the guy was trying to rip me off and to go get a few more estimates.

I called Skettle late on a Thursday and left a message. I spoke with Kathy the next day. I explained the nature of the job: "I need an outside outlet for Christmas lights and yard tools. There is an outlet inside the house at that location, so you shouldn't have to fish line. There is no ground wire run, so you'll need a GFCI." Kathy gave me two quotes. One of about $120, for parts and one hour of labor, and another quote of about $200 if the job was a little more complex and needed two hours of labor. We scheduled Skettle to come the following Wednesday. Unfortunately, when Mike from Skettle arrived he did not have the outside GFCI to do the job. So, we had to reschedule. I was really appreciative however, that Kathy took into account the fact that I work during the day and offered a Saturday morning appointment since they had to come back out. After scheduling for Saturday, I found that I had a rare day off on Friday. So I called Kathy at about 8:30 am, and by 11:00 am Mike was at my home, parts in-hand. Mike arrived on-time, parts in-hand, and was finished with the job in under 30 minutes. He even took the time to vacuum the inside and outside of my home where he was working -- there is not a spec of dust or debris (or spider's web) in sight. I also love that Mike took care to buy a "low-profile" cover, which pops out if you need to plug something in but remains flat and close to the side of your house when there is nothing plugged in. Much better option than those bulging "bubble" type housings. Only seven days from first call to completed installation. There was a slight issue with my understanding of the price I would be charged. I was not aware that I would be charged not just the time Mike was working at my home, but the time he spent buying parts. When I called Kathy with this concern she explained that this was the company practice, apologized that this practice wasn't made clear, and credited me the disputed sum. That makes three times I was impressed with Skettle's professionalism: (1) scheduling a Saturday appointment, (2) vacuuming the outside of my home, and (3) crediting me a portion of the invoice because of a misunderstanding.

No follow up for 8 days and counting. Too bad, seemed like nice folks.

I called Skettle Electric because a circuit was tripping in my house. Skettle Electric had previously worked on my home. The gentleman that came to the house was very professional and addressed the problem in a timely manner. They stood by their original work and did not charge me for the repair work that addressed the problem. I was impressed by their ability to stand behind their work on my home, and I will use them going forward for all of my electrical work.

I called on Friday, She called me back on Monday said she would call me back on Wednesday to set up a time to come on Thursday to see the job sight and electrician would set up appointment for Friday.. to install. Too much back and forth on the phone with no real commitment of tech coming, just her calling trying to get more information on the house set up ... I took that to mean it was limited on what her electrician can do .

Skettle Electric has proveded all of my electrical service for a number of years, and I would never call on anyone else for any electrical work I need. They have installed electrical outlets and fixtures and new switches for overhead lights; they have installed an emergency generator for power outages and connected roofing deicing cables, and far more. There work is always beautifully done; their pricing is fair; they always clean up thoroughly after every job. And both Tony and Don are not only good at the work they do, but are pleasant people to have in my house. I have lived in this house for 49 years and have had other electrical work done by others, but since I discovered Skettle through Angie's list, I would never call on anyone else.

during my initial discussions, I explained the height of my entry and the work I wanted done. Notwithstanding, the technician arrived nearly 30 minutes late and then couldn't complete the job because he didn't have the "right ladder". the owner made it sound like it was my fault they screwed up which was really annoying. I reschedule. Again they sent the wrong ladder and the wrong switch so they had to go back and get them, twice while I waited for them. Turns out, they installed the switch backwards so that up is off, which is awesome. I'm so annoyed with them I won't even have them back to fix it because I don't have that kind of time to waste. I initially selected them because of Angie's List but don't want anyone else to make that mistake. Hours of my time was wasted, they lied to me and they still invoiced me!

It went quite well and I was very pleased with them. They did a good job and would definitely use them again and would recommend them.

Lights dimmed and brightened with appliance use, voltage fluctuated, and the microwave made a strange noise and its panel dimmed. The electric company diagnosed a corroded loose connection in the meter box, our responsibility. I called Skettle because we and a family member had used this company before, with great satisfaction. The office manager recognized our problem as a serious one and sent an electrician who, as it turns out, was finishing a job just two blocks away. He verified that the corroded wire could no longer be reattached and told me what would be needed by way of replacement and bringing the service up to code. His estimate was at the low end of what the electric company said it would likely cost, and given past experience with Skettle, I authorized the electrician to go ahead as he said they could do the work immediately. Within two hours he and a couple of assistants installed new service connections and conduit, the required second ground, a meter box, and connections to the breaker box. Lights no longer flicker and microwave works fine.

Excellent service from start to finish. We have used Skettle in the past and will continue to do so.

Due to wet heavy snow the neighbors tree fell on my house power wires and ripped the meter off the house. I made several calls to various companies, but Skettle was the only one that seemed willing to work the extra hours needed to get people the power back. They arrived early on Saturday and had the service replaced and power back within 1.5-2h of arrival. The two man crew (owner included) were professional, i.e. real electricians (had previous bad experience with others) and worked quickly, had all material already on hand. They also informed me about various other things that would be good to know with respect to what should be done to get the system up to par. I'll definitely consult and hire them again if needed.

They were prompt and reasonable, not that expensive. They did a pretty good job. They answered all the questions.

This was another great service job (I've used them twice in the past ... also with excellent results). I bought my own fixtures after confirming the quality of the brand with Kathy Skettle. I bought two RAB STL360HBW from Amazon. One is mounted vertically on the garage; the other is mounted downward on a soffit near my side door. This brand is highly rated in products reviews. My previous fixtures were made by Heath/Zenith and were very poor in quality. I had an installation appointment scheduled in a few days, but the company called and offered to do the work earlier than scheduled. Don (from Skettle) is very much a pleasure to work with. He installed the lights expertly, taking the time to ask my preferences on angles and settings. I highly recommend this company for all your electric needs. If you are mounting a fixture on siding, I recommend you purchase an Arlington vertical siding lamp mounting kit. This is a bracket that allows the fixture to be mounted flush against the siding. The result is a perfect installation job. It should last a very long time. If you are unhappy with your current motion-detecting outside lights, I recommended RAB fixtures, the Arlington siding mounting kit, and Skettle electric for installation.

We had an emergency situation because of a telephone pole wiring that was coming off of the side of the house and the electric company said that it wasn't their responsibility so we had to get someone out here right away. They came out quickly and made the proper repairs and were very good. They were professional and would definitely use them again in the future.
