We bought a new clothes dryer and our old unit was hard-wired so we called Skettle to come install a receptacle. I called on Thursday afternoon and they were able to squeeze in an appointment on Friday morning. The electrician arrived right on time, was friendly and courteous, and had the job done in half an hour. Cost was $60 for the service call plus $15 for the receptacle. A simple job but it was great to get someone on short notice and to have the job done right.

They are very efficient, very reasonable. They are very nice on the phone as well.

He showed me how to fix the light fixtures, and also went out of his way to go to the hardware store to get all of the components we needed, plus two extras for me to have on hand. He was very informative and patient with me. He was good natured, and answered all of my questions. The office kept me up to date on the man's arrival to my house.

I saw this company listed on Angie's List and they had a very positive rating. Very polite on the telephone; told me to go purchase the fixtures that we wanted installed because it would be cheaper for us. Also, that it is usually not worth it to repair. (All good advice!) Workman came on time; early, in fact, and did the job in less than an hour. (Originally we had hired a "handyman" to install these fixtures and it took him an endless amount of time to do it.) Prompt, professional, courteous. This was a small job, but I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will be using them again in the future.

They called back on time, showed up on time, finished when they said they would. Very nice people.

Job 1: They were professional, courteous, prompt, & very knowledgeable. They answered & returned my calls promptly & scheduled me quickly. He had to come back the next day to finish the work, but he did & it was a wkend. Job 2: This is a family business. Kathy, Tony's lovely wife, answers the ph. & does the scheduling. The wait time is short for the work to be done was short. Brothers Tony & Patrick worked individually or as a team as needed. They are both extremely knowledgeable & competent, not to mention the nicest tradesmen ever! The work at my house was tricky both diagnostically & technically, but they never gave up. Unlike so many electricians who are only interested in new construction & "big jobs," these guys are very concerned about & good at diagnosing existing home problems & proceeding no matter how large or small the job. They are very neat & leave their work area clean at the end of each day. I found them to be respectful & polite and concerned that I got what I wanted.

He wasn't cooperative and told me that I should have had tape on the walls where I wanted the outlets, but he could've told me ahead of time. The switch plates didn't flush up tight to the wall, so he had to come back to fix that. He had a bad attitude and I wouldn't use him again or recommend him to others.

This company has done electrical work in my house on 3 different occasions in the past 2 months, and all have been positive experiences. They are very available, including on weekends, and reliably arrive on time. They do have a service charge to come out, but so do many other companies. They have diagnosed the problem quickly and correctly every-time. The workers are respectful, professional and friendly.

Patrick came to provide the estimate, provided a straightforward estimate on the spot that was pretty competitive with others I had. The team came and did a very clean job, everything is working great, and everyone was very professional. They also added an additional dedicated outlet in the basement next to the panel at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Fabulous. In the past I have gotten estimates from and had work done by other electricians including several which have high ratings from Angie's List. Skettle was, by far, the best experience. Unlike other companies, which almost as a rule, take days to return phone calls and weeks to come up with estimates, Skettle has a living person who answers the phone, had someone come out within about two days for the estimate on this routine job, and was able to do the work within a couple more days. They were fast, cleaned up, and the estimate was right on. If I could give them an A+ I would do so.

These were simple jobs that didn't require much skill, but the family-owned company responded immediately, and provided service the day after I called.

This was a great experience. It was way less than my other estimates and those didn't include digging the trench! They are officially "my electricians" now.

Skettle Electric was recommended to me by a friend who had them do some work at their house; they found Skettle on Angie's list. I got three bids from electricians and Skettle's bid was only $50 to $100 more than a one man electrician with no state license. Kathy Settle called me back promptly to set up a time for an estimate. Tony Skettle came over and was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what had to be done. He was able to give me a quote the day of the estimate and broke down the price to show what had to be done and what my options were. I called Kathy to setup a time for the work to be done and she called back the day before the job to confirm the appointment. Skettle arrived on time the day of the job. A three man crew of Tony his son and another worker performed the work. They made sure to stay after and label all the breakers on the panel box. They did a good job in cleaning up afterward. I to like my friend would recommend Skettle Electric.

Great, our second time with Skettle. Very pleased with work, people, etc. They came out on the same day so that we could pass the POS re-inspection.

They were too busy to come for an estimate. Got an idea of the cost for the job, but found other contractors who would start the job in about a week. The lead time was longer with this company. I would hire company if estimates and time frames worked out.

Wonderful. They were booked solid but fit us in when someone else cancelled. Electrician came on time and did two projects in under an hour, so we only had to pay $65. Work was done right the first time and we are very happy! Two outlets re-wired and tested for $65 - what a deal!

TONY, KARL, DON & PAT WERE A GREAT CREW. WORK FAST AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES, ASKED APPROPRIATE QUESTIONS FOR PLACEMENT OF OUTLETS. DID ADDITION WORK WITH VERY REASONABLE PRICE. KNEW CODES HAD ALL SUPPLIES. THEY NEEDED AND WE ENJOYED HAVING THEM DO OUR WORK. WILL HIRE THEM FOR MORE FUTURE WORK. Unfortunately, I found they were not as tidy as I had originally thought.

When I called they shrugged off that I was from Angie's List. They sent an estimator out, and they did not give me a proposal, he was in a hurry.

Tony, Patrick and Don were prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the work be to be done. Kathy in the office was also very professional and did an excellent job of keeping us up to date on what to expect. The work was done to our satisfaction, and we would strongly recommend Skettle Electric to anyone who needs electrical work.

I really liked the response of the woman who answered the phone and her helpfulness in scheduling a convenient time for me.

Immediate response to my request for an estimate. Work was scheduled in a reasonable timeframe, accommodating my work schedule and theirs. Polite, professional personnel. Reasonably priced. Rooms were left in spotless condition.
