First Choice Asphalt Sealing

Description of Work: Like my other purchases everything went well. Gene my contact with 1st Choice warned me ahead of time that because of the multiple days of rain it was going to take a little longer to get to my driveway. After a few weeks Gene called gave be a date when they were going to do the seal coat. | |The crew showed up they were friendly and got right to putting down the sealer. They were fast, neat and professional. My neighbors have all commented how good the driveway looks. I will use this service again.

Description of Work: Very pleased with the work -- they were fast, efficient, and thorough. My only quibble was that setting up the appointment took a few weeks, but once the appointment was made, everything went smoothly. I'd hire them again.

Description of Work: Angie's Big Deal - asphalt sealed driveway. | |They contacted me within a few days after I purchased the big deal to say they would contact me later to schedule. After several weeks, they did leave a message to indicate the date and time of day they would arrive. They came as scheduled, trimmed grass from sides of the driveway, applied the sealer efficiently and indicated when I could safely use the driveway. The big unknown, of course, is how well the sealer will hold up and how long it will last. Whether I use them again or not is largely dependent on this last.

Description of Work: Services delayed for several weeks. Sealant was applied sloppy. Sealant was left on landscape edging.

Description of Work: Bought an Angies List Deal for $89 to seal the driveway. Called right away and said they got it and would out me on the schedule. Wow, so far so good. Then, nothing for about 6 weeks. Called them and they said they were backed up. Owner called and apologized and said he was in hospital and they got back up with his hospitalization and weather. From that time forward, called me a few days ahead and informed me we were on the schedule for the 14th weather permitting. Nothing. Was going to call him on 15th but they called me to confirm directions and said they would be out in the afternoon and they were. Driveway is sealed and looks pretty good except can see the squeegee marks. Overall it's a sealed driveway for $89, no complaints.

Description of Work: One coat of blacktop. I had asked that they give quote for crack fixing but that never happened. I suggested filling the cracks when they came and they did fill one crack just to accommodate but that was all. Crew was efficient and quick and it took less than 30 min. to complete.

Description of Work: I paid approximately one month ago. Still no repair on my driveway.

Description of Work: I have purchased 3 Angie's list "big deals". I have only used 1 with Muth Roofing. The other two did not follow-up on the deal or in one case could not perform the service for 4 months. If Angie's continues to offer "big deals" you should confirm the company involved has the capacity to follow through on their commitment. If I don't hear from 1st Choice Asphalt this week. I will request a full refund of my money.
