Description of Work: They called me a couple of days before Memorial Day and said they wanted to do my drive way. I said alright. A couple of hours later the driver of their truck called and said the universal joints went out of the truck and they couldn't make it. I didn't hear from them again. On 7/1 my wife called them to see what was going on. Finally on 7/3 the brother of the owner called and said that the owner has had 2 heart attacks and he was setting up his accounts. He then proceeded to tell me that the job would be $22.00 more than I had paid Angie's List for the Angie Deal. He then said they would be here on 7/7. | |On 7/7 they showed up and it was looking like rain. I ask the guy if they should put the sealer on. He said he would call his boss and have him check the weather radar. After a few minutes, he said the boss said the radar looked good. They applied the sealer and left. About 45 minutes later we had one of the hardest thunder storms of the year and it rained for 2 days. I think this shows that if you want your driveway sealed or a weather forecast don't go to 1st Choice Asphalt Sealing.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for 1st Choice Asphalt Sealing.

Description of Work: I was told that they would likely be here in the morning but no later than 5:00. I called about 4:00 and was told that we were next on the agenda and would be on their way shortly. They came about 7:00 at night after I had waited all day for them. After they left, I noticed that they had some areas that need fixed up. I called and was told that they would come to do repairs that weekend. They never showed up. I have had sealcoating done for much less money and had better service and similar quality of product. I will not use them again.

Description of Work: We have a side load garage, so the cost was slightly higher than the advertised price. No complaints though.

Description of Work: Sealed my driveway and filled in some cracks. They came on the day they promised and did a good job. Had a little problem scheduling but understandable due to so many rainy days.

Description of Work: Took 2 weeks to respond. |scheduled appt then called & said their truck brokedown & theu'd call back to reschedule. Haven't heard from them since, despite email & 2 voice mails to Company.

Description of Work: Claude had sealed my driveway in past years, so I was thrilled to see them with a Big Deal again. They do great work. They edged the grass & dirt back from the asphalt, lay on a thick coat of sealer, and put up a tape barricade to keep cars off. Communication was great, they showed up as scheduled, and the driveway looks great.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for driveway seal coating. I've called them multiple times and they've never gotten back with me so I cancelled the purchase. They were supposed to send me a message through Angie's List but I never received one either.
