First Choice Asphalt Sealing

Absolutely Fabulous. Answered first phone call. Great communication throughout entire process. Weather required rescheduling but I'd much rather have it rescheduled than them just "get it done" and have it messed up by rain. Quality is far superior to other companies we have used in the past - they did an absolutely fabulous job.

These guys were great! They kept in touch with me on when they were going to perform the service. They showed up early, were friendly and accommodating, and did a great job. My driveway looks great! They had absolutely no overspill where my driveway transitions to pavement. I can't imagine asking anyone else to do future sealing.

Ordered it earlier this year as an Angie's List Big Deal. We were on vacation from 5/16-5/23 and wanted him to seal it while we were away. He sealed it on 5/22 so it fit our schedule. He had to work around bad weather earlier in the year .We are satisfied with his performance.

The work turned out to be very good. It took a little bit longer than we thought; but once they came out, they got out and did what they were going to do. They called up and told me about the extra charge for a large crack. When I called, they asked about me and I told that I did have one, but it really didn't need any repair. They came out and took extra care of it. They filled the crack before the sealed the driveway at no additional charge.

Did a professional job and we were pleased with the results.

The team came out while we were at work, did all of the edging, washing and sealing. My husband and I were blown away at the results. A new home across the street from us just had a new asphalt driveway put in last week and our driveway looks just as new as theirs! So impressed. Will definitely use in the future.

They did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.

I received email owner in hospital. Ok I will wait. Way too long. Disappointed request refund so I can get driveway done...email one-no response...email two...very unhappy...request refund...non responsive.

After 3 weeks of attempting to contact the company without success, I reached out to Angie’s List and filed a complaint. Angie’s List then reached out to the company. At that point, the company did respond to me. The owner’s daughter emailed me and explained that the owner had been hospitalized. I decided to hold off on getting a refund at that time. It’s not been almost two weeks since the daughter emailed me and I still haven’t heard anything back so at this point I am considering a refund again. This whole process was too much of a hassle.

Work was not done. Communication great but owner couldn't get work done in time due to personal issue.

They did a good job and they were done quickly. They're efficient, great and their work looks wonderful.

They let us wait about a year to use the deal because we had a mix up where we had already scheduled a different provider for the work. They were cooperative and accommodating. The service was good.

They wouldn't schedule any appointments with me. I am trying to sell my house and needed to get it done.

Everything went well and as expected-courteous, clean and on time.

The service was good. The work was done at my rental property and my tenants seemed to be happy with the service.

I really could not of asked for anything more than this team delivered. They are real pros and I highly recommend them.

It went fantastic!!!..I purchased the BIG DEAL with 1st Choice Asphalt Sealing, the next day I spoke with Claude, the owner by phone, I ask him about his company and I told him about the problems with our drive way, I wasn't even sure it could be fixed because we had a lot of deep cracks and the drive way wasn't in the best of shape, it was the original, almost 50 years old and thought it would need 2 coats of sealer and I wanted to let Claude know that up front. He was very sweet and very honest and I really liked that he explained everything about the cracks and helped me understand the process saying that a second coat would really be a waste of money because the sealant he uses is very thick. I then ask him when the work could be done, I gave him 3 days with only a little over a weeks notice, he was able to get the job done on the lst date that I gave him, he gave me a time he would arrive, was early and got started. During the process he explained to my husband what he was doing, he was fast and it looked great, like a new drive way, from beginning to end it was a great all the way around. We are very happy with Claude's work, wonderful job and will definitely use 1st Choice again. A job very well done!!!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did a really good job. We did not need to be home when they did the service. I told them what I wanted them to do on the phone, they came out and did it, I left them a check and it was all taken care of. It was no effort for me. My driveway was a little larger than was specified in the deal so I paid a very small extra charge, but it was less than they originally thought since I had told them this on the phone before they did the job. They called me right after I purchased the Big Deal and then came out about two weeks later.

They were great! They did very clean work and I did not have to do anything additional. They cleaned up well after themsevles. They responded quickly to my phone calls. There were two people here doing the work and it took one day to complete.

They came out a couple of months after the deal was purchased. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. This was the first time I used the company. I wasn't there when they did the work, but it was okay. There was a little bit of a delay because a lot of people bought the big deal promotion. Other than that, they're reliable.

He explained a lot. But, he was one week late getting here. They said that they would come back if I did not like the seal. They did not come back. I could've done the same work that they did. The seal was too thin. I will not call them again.

Great job. Driveway looks great. On time as promised.
