I have not received the system yet, but my service guy that came out was wonderful. Michael McIntire was honest, professional, and reasonably priced. He got us on the schedule right away and I look forward to installation.

Crew Aaron, Seth, and Dustin arrived on time daily. Aaron was knowledgeable and answered my questions. Crew was polite and respectful of my property.

Ohio Basement Systems was great to work with and installed a high quality sump and battery back-up system.

Avoid this company at all costs. They were hired to encapsulate my crawlspace. They left about 25% of the dirt floor exposed and left dangerous debris under the tarp that was supposed to be removed. They did not tape the tarp together well, and its coming apart after only a couple months, and has trapped and killed small animals in the adhesive. Absolutely impossible to get any kind of refund or get them to remove the product that was dangerously installed. Joe Kazelka, the GM, failed to return calls or emails. Finally escalated to their lawyers, and they say they will only refund my deposit and remove the product if I signed a non-disparagement agreement which, prevents consumers from leaving honest reviews. If you fail to deliver work as contracted and install it in a dangerous manner, a customer should be able to get a refund without signing a non-negotiable anti-disparagement settlement.

I dealt with a sales person named Dale he was wonderful. Dale has a great personality and a lot of knowledge for the business. Then they send a crew out, these three men were also polite energetic work together very well. Their names were Larry, Rick and Rich. John electrician was very efficient very knowledgeable did a great job. Then I had to speak to finance and this person was very polite her name was Jennifer. Got the billing taken care of right away. Thank you so much!

Not everything was done the salesman promised. Miscommunication between him and crew. The crew was awesome and did a great job though. Not one drop of water in basement and we've had a lot of rain.

This was actually the 2nd time I used Ohio Basement Systems. About a year ago I also used them first for a concrete leveling job, so when I found a wet wall in my basement after some heavy rains recently, I didnâ t hesitate to call Ohio Basement Systems again. The Field Inspector, Matthew Thomas, is very knowledgeable. He was also one of the guys that was at my house on the previous concrete leveling job and he remembered me and my house. Thatâ s important to me, because now thereâ s a relationship building. I trust Matt implicitly. He knows what heâ s talking about, and he knows my house. The appointment lasted for about a half-hour, maybe 45-minutes. Matt went through a number of different options to address my water problem, and even offered his own thoughts and opinions as well. I was not pressured in any way to make a snap decision on how to proceed. Matt simply took the time to explain things to me, and answer all of my questions (and I had a lot), and he left some materials explaining the different options available for me to review; and also offered his card to call him directly with any additional questions. I was very satisfied with their service, and I wouldnâ t call anyone else for any of my home foundation repair or waterproofing needs. Ohio Basement Systems are the reliable experts.

I purchased a house with this system installed. There was a small section that had not been able to be installed initially and small amount of water was coming in during heavy rains. A tech came out and identified that we just needed to remove a section of an old bar and they could complete the installation - free of charge. Very happy with both techs I worked with.

Craig, Brett and Ladarius did an outstanding job. Before they started, Craig went over everything they were going to do and how it would work. I asked questions throughout the project and all 3 answered the questions and explained exactly what they were doing. They did a great job cleaning up after the work was complete. I would recommend the 3 for a job anytime.

Matt Allen was on time, courteous, and went above and beyond the work I expected

The company did a good job installing the purchased products. However, there was a problem after the installers left. Matt Allen came out and fixed the problem by going above and beyond what was necessary. I was pleased with the outcome.

Adam was awesome and knowledgeable. Would recommend him to talk with anyone. I received a great quote and hired them on the spot.

The waterproofing crew(Kingsly, Nick, Richard, DeMario, and Demonti, and Rocco) were extremely, knowledgeable, professional., and hardworking! They kept me informed with each step of the waterproofing project and explained it all very thoroughly. They were very neat throughout the process and cleaned up well at the end of each work day. I would highly recommend Ohio Basement Systems for waterproofing and\or foundation work meeded!

These guys are a great group of workers. Very hard working and cleaned up after themselves. Ryan and Rayville are great Foreman's the rest of the crew Shane Raymond H very respectful. Dale the gentleman who I've delt with when I asked for information came to house and explained and he wrote up the quote. The proposal was very nice, helpful. We got an egress put in. The awesome experience started with Doug McIntire coming over to explain the product and the process. Doug was so professional, knowledgeable and just made us feel like the decision to go with them was a no-brainer. We then got scheduled for mid-April but asked to be on the waiting list to have the install done sooner if a spot opened up. Luckily one did and we got moved up 2 months!! The crew said that they would be here around 8:30-9:00am on 2/10/21 and they got here at 8:30am...right on time! The team was led by Tyler who did such an awesome job with the team. The rest of the team was Alex, Eric, Justin and Daniel (the hole digger)...sorry if I missed someone. One of the guys brought up our garbage can from the end of the driveway. Everyone worked so well together and Tyler not only did the work too, he also was teaching each of them. We are so happy with the work and the experience we had! I really enjoyed the experience and I would definitely recommend Ohio Basement Systems to anyone!

From salesman Mike Graening to the installation team lead by Patrick(I am sorry I don't remember each team members name), everyone was super. They were so knowledgeable, professional. respectful. These men really worked and really know what they are doing. I highly recommend them. Great job Ohio basement Systems. Another satisfied customer.

The crew did a good job installing the sump pump and waterproofing a wall. Everything regarding the electrical panel upgrade that I bought as a part of the package has been a nightmare. I took off work twice on days when the electrician was scheduled to be at my home to do the work but he never showed up and OBS never reached out to me to let me know they had canceled the service for that day. Apparently, the salesperson screwed up his quote and after wasting my time on two days, he texts me to tell me that it is going to cost me an additional $1950 to upgrade the panel (plus, the $1102 they had already factored in for the upgrade). I responded to his text and left him a voicemail but have not received any correspondence back yet, I have also attempted to contact his manager at their office but they transferred me to the wrong person on multiple occasions and I have been unable to get a hold of anyone regarding this. At this point, I just want to be credited the $1102 back that I was charged for the electrical upgrade so I can take care of it myself but the company overall has been very slow to respond and seemingly unprofessional apart from the crew who did the waterproofing work. Addition: OBS ended up refunding me the money for the electrical upgrade and throwing in a 3-year service plan in exchange for changing my review to 5 stars.

I have now had a third contractor tell me I should have contacted a lawyer for the damage inflicted on my home by the **professionals** at OBS two years ago. A foundation wall replacement and waterproofing job has left my foundation unaligned with significant exterior damage. At least the waterproofing was done well? If a foreman shows up from this company at your house, do not answer the door and save yourself a headache.

Technicians are well qualified and knowledgable. No hesitation to inform and answer any questions. Chris is a very Professional technician. Thank you Chris

Josh Rodriguez and Frankie Loseiwicz came to my home to service my crawl space . They were prompt, professional and thorough. I would highly recommend Ohio Basement Systems.

The initial consultation was great. Mike Robert was very courteous and personal. He answered all my questions. I ended up going with the basement gutter system and carbon fiber reinforcement strips. The install to say the least was a total nightmare. 1. The painted block wall was never fully cleaned before adhesion. 2. The carbon fiber strips were installed on the wall crooked. 3. One strip was installed underneath a window (instructions say to adjust the spacing to avoid windows). 4. The sill bracket was never installed. I was repeatedly told by the foreman and project manager that they were not needed. It says in the install manual that it is. There is no top anchor point if not installed. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they would not warranty their product without it. Luckily they were able to overlap the strip but now it is not one seamless piece. 5. They never pilot drilled the sill brackets and split my sill plate repeatedly. 6. The gutter drain was installed unevenly and was not even against the wall. 7. The weep holes for the gutter drain are above the product and now I have visible holes drilled through my foundation everywhere. 8. The plumbing from the new sump was not straight. I gave them the opportunity to make it right. Adam Kozelka came out to look at install and agreed it was unacceptable. I was scheduled to have another crew come out and rip out the gutter drain and do it again. Unfortunately, I have to live with crooked reinforcement strips (and the handprint) since they were applied with epoxy. The new crew was respectful and courteous. The gutter drain is way better than it was before. There are still areas that are uneven and lacking attention to detail. For the price, I am definitely disappointed. I did my homework on the company and the products being used. I feel like I know the product better than the technicians. When you pay top dollar for the professionals you expect the best. I was never even offered a discount for all that had happened. I now have to live with a subpar install and the damage done to my home.
