Tom came out and assessed the area and problem and indicated that he would have to remove shingles and flashing and install iceguard to entire repair area. Then install new flashings and shingles to match current shingles and seal the cap. Was going to cost $785.00. After starting the job, they realized that the current inspection wasn't the cause of the problem but the cap in the chimney collecting water and overflowing into the ceiling. I was very impressed with his honesty. He could have done that job and charged me for the previous problem. So instead of 785.00 it only cost me $585.00. The job was done quickly and very professionally. Will definitely use them again.

I called Jilek Roofing on May 19th for roof repair. Left a message. Never received a call back.

The crew showed up bright and early, went to work right away, and by 2-3 in the afternoon they were cleaning up because they were finished. It was an amazingly quick process! We were surprised to see that the crew was Amish, and we did not have prior knowledge of this particular crews' skills and quality of work. However, they were fantastic!! We have had one leak since the roof was put on, and when we called Jilek, he was out to inspect the issue immediately. He found that the leak was actually a chimney issue, but sealed around it the best he could until we could get a chimney and/or masonry specialist to come address that problem. While he was at the house, he inspected the rest of the roof to ensure there were not any other problems occurring. We could tell he takes pride in the work his company provides and cares about the continued satisfaction of his customers! If you are looking for a quality roofing company who stands behind their work, this is the company for you!!

My experience with them so far has been excellent. I would highly recommend them. Their pricing was reasonable. I called them for our main house and in the mean time, my condo needed a skylight and so I called them the next day after I committed to them for this house and I had them do my condo.

I was impressed with the work. They ended up doing more work than I think the anticipated because the prior rook was inproperly installed making the tear off of the prior flat work taking more work than expected. but the work appeared to be done properly in an very quick time without extra cost.. I felt all the while that Jilek wanted to do work that they were proud of. Despite filling a large dumpster with tear off materials on a windy day the cleanup was great with no damage to plants or bushes. They showed up on the quoted date and time and worked the job to completion without missed days. I was totally satisfied with their work and would recommend to anyone Good Cost, Good work, Id use them again.

It went really well! It probably took 30 minutes and the roof looks as good as new.

Jilek Roofing did a tremendous job. I couldn't imagine the project going smoother or faster. The new roof has been on for over a year now and there have been zero leaks. They provided a very high level of service and I strongly recommend them.

Prompt, responsive, got the job done, personable. I called several companies, it was an urgent situation as we had an internal leak, and Jilek was the only company that called me back the same day and offered to come out the same day (several of the companies I called did not call me back at all).

My message was returned immediately and someone for Jilek drove to my house in order to inspect the damage and give me a quote the next day. The quote was very reasonable and included their roof maintenance package which should prevent more shingles from breaking off for several years. Two members of Jilek's crew arrived the next day to complete the work with no issues or problems. Overall, I'm very satisfied it was a hassle free experience from beginning to end. It seems that many roofing companies just want to replace the entire roof, Jilek did a great job on my minor repair job hopefully giving me several more years before a replacement is necessary.

Had several estimates and there's was competitive. I liked that they have been in business for so long and simply from first contact through completion I just had a really good feeling about them. Getting ready to call them back to do some soffit work.

Tom Laba was the manager on the job. He kept all appointments and communicated with me throughout the process. The workers were very professional and did a good job. I was happy with the work and the price charged and would recommend them to others.

It went pretty seamless. Job was completed in a timely manner... Even painted the stack to match the roof. Have not had an issue for 7 years...

We contacted them around 12 noon and they sent someone out to quote us within hours. We sold our house and this work had to be done for the sale to complete. Many places I called were not working in the winter months so I was lucky to be referred to Jilek. They took less than 2 days. They upgraded the shingles for free so the new owners could match the house shingles when they're ready to do the house roof. They inspected the house roof and repaired some loose shingles at no charge also. The chimney mortar was done nicely. When they were finished the area was spotless and it looked like they were never there. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them in the future for anything we need.

The price was fair. The workmanship was good.

It went very well. They were flexible with the scheduling to accommodate my other comitments. The workers were Amish, and they were very focused and highly skilled. They were very careful not to cause damage to the property and they worked quickly and efficiently. The slate under the shingles was unexpected, so it took a little longer than anticipated to remove the old roof. The work was completely as promised, and at the end, there were NO ADDED CHARGES. Despite the extra work, they ttally honored the estimate. And the roof looks GREAT! Plus, two weeks later, we have NO nails in the tires, so they must have done a great job of cleaning up the nails.

Roof replacement went well but we had a couple of issues that did not go so well at first. The dryer vent re-route through a roof vent was missed and they had to come back to install. The skylight replacement went well except we were not told that it was a slightly different size so the inside molding would no longer match up and had to be replaced. Lastly the nail cleanup was not as advertised as many nails were found on the driveway, sidewalk, and grass. Tom quickly addressed the nail issue, the skylight, and the dryer vent. In the end I was very satisfied.

I was very happy with the service provided by Jilek Roofing. They let me know ahead of time when they were going to show up to do the work. They gave me an estimate that was reasonable. They did the work exactly the way they said they were going to do it, cleaned up the area around the house after they were finished working, and charged me exactly the amount on the estimate. This was my second experience with Jilek Roofing, and I was very happy after both jobs.

Jim and Tom were both very professional, very prompt, and had great follow up. The price was very competitive, the crew did a great job, and I will definately use them again. I recommend them.

I wondered if we could just fill them with foam from the can like you use for insulation. Tom said it may work. Try it and let him know. Wanted to put a deverter on each end to deflect the rain but we decided to check out the foam first. The first rain the foam did not work so we tarred it. The second rain came this morning and it did not work. .We are going to call Tom today to see what we can do next, maybe the deverters.

Job went very well. Jilek promptly responded to our request to obtain an estimate, showed up as scheduled to perform estimate, and provided professional estimate in a timely manner. Requests for additional proposal details and optional pricing were readily supplied. Pricing competitive. Work crew was very professional (Amish workers), polite, no rough looking workers like we have seen on other roofing jobs, no loud obnoxious music. Kept construction site clean and orderly, showed-up on schedule to start job, and finished promptly. Tom with Jilek was very helpful and willingly discussed options with regard to venting options, very patient with our detailed questions. Was patient with our request to thoroughly review details of the job, work we wanted done. We would definitely use Jilek again or refer business to them.

When it was first done, I thought it looked terrible. There was caulking all over and it just looked sloppy. I wasn't here when they did the repair. When I saw it, I called Mr. Jilek, the owner, who wasn't here when it was done and told him the situation. He said not to worry, that they would make it right, that they would come right back and he would make sure it was done right and he did. He came back the next day and it looks fabulous now. My daughter who was here and inside the house heard them talking and they sounded like they didn't know what they were doing. But, they made it right. I am very happy with how it ended. I would definitely consider using them again but I would want to ensure that they have the qualified crew out. I like the owner and I'm confident in his abilities so I probably would consider using them again.

It went very well. They were $3,000.00 cheaper than my other estimate.

Other roofing companies had brought to our attention some issues on the roof. However, those individuals were going door-to-door and soliciting, which we did not find to be very professional. When we actually noticed that a shingle was missing, we contacted Jilek, as they had been recommended by a friend. Tom, the estimator, immediately came over to the house to perform a quick determination as to whether the insurance company should be called, and called me to discuss. We decided to have the insurance adjuster come and look at the roof with Tom. As a result of that process, it was determined that there no extreme issues occurring on the roof. All our roof needed was patching, sealing, and caulking. After some flawed communication on my end, which was completely overlooked by Tom (and thankfully so), we got a quote from Jilek to do a roof tune-up. They came out and performed the work the same day the work was quoted. They were extremely nice and professional. We know that we are going to need roofing services again in the near future, and would definitely use them again.
