Scammers I just wanted a single wasp nest removed. Wound up in a contract for a year with 4 treatments. They did the 4 treatments in 4 months instead of throughout the whole year and wanted to keep doing them every month. I said no and cancelled the contract. They then charged me $199 to cancel.

this company sucks, they committ to a service day and never schedule for that date, tell me I can cancel anytime after 1st service Now they are charging me $199.00 for not completeing service? This company has no morals or any concern for customer service STAY AWAY from them

This company didn't show up for an appointment that they set, then charged my card one business day later for a service they did not perform. They don't answer their phone, nor return their email. Contact is a joke. Further, when I disputed the charge for the service that they didn't perform, they lied to my credit card company and claimed that they did perform the service. I'm out $150 that they stole from me. Run the other way. They're disgusting.

Hard to prove that we paid by check for service. Wait times 10 minutes on several occasions finally hanging up. Never missed payment. Last payment proof sent to customer service but they have no one with the drive and skills to resolve. We were turned over to collection agency. Now we need to send cancelled check to them. They don’t know their business and how to resolve problems. Had them from 1-1/2 years.

They came door to door selling pest control services. I just signed up for a year. 1st treatment in July. The second due in August. They came out and sprayed for spiders. The contract stated they would take care of multiple pests. I will see how well it works and will evaluate again after the year. I did email them a question and got no response. I did call twice and spoke to a customer service person that answered my questions.

I got a high pressure sales pitch from this guy, Brad, who came to my door on a segway-type vehicle. He told me he scheduled an appointment with my neighbor and would come to my home to do a treatment for $20 because he would already be next door and it wouldn't cost him anything. He told me that what customers like is "that I'm a certified agriculturalist," and then showed me his pricing. He tried to sell me a long-term contract after a fast-talking/zero listening sales pitch. It felt much more like I was talking to someone who was trying to rack up sales numbers rather than someone who was interested in helping me in any way. Hopefully my neighbor did not, in fact, hire them. (Even that sounded suspicious as he referred to her as "him"). If she did I will advise her to be careful and to get out as fast as she can.

These guys come around door to door offering to spray for bugs all around your house. I have a lot of spiders so I decided to give them a try. The first treatment seemed to eliminate a lot of bugs, but not all. The second treatment was about a month later and it did not appear to be done. I got a bill but I could not tell if they had done any work. The bill said they were suppose to sweep away the existing spider webs but this was clearly not done. They offered to come out and retreat my house, but I did not wan to show good money after bad.

We were sold on a lower rate and less frequent visits than our past service and they covered a few more items as well. So far we've had three different technicians and all of them have told me different things about the service they came to perform. Only one seemed to actually have a clue as to what he was doing. We've had a higher incidence of bugs in the house. The billing department charged us a late fee when they have it set up for automatic payment but kept trying a wrong number. I can't wait until our one year contract is over and we can go back to our old service.

They were just here in July because I had them come back. They come quarterly. They did the first initial in May and the first quarter would be June, but I had them come back in July because I had an ongoing issue. I have a contract. I've only had them since May. I'm going to be under contract with them for at least a year. Because I was with my other company for so long, I don't know how I feel about long term with this company, but we'll see. The fact that I had to call them back after their first visit. Being fair, my old company used to have to come back too. I don't want to give them a bad rating because that's not to say they'll always be like that. The pricing is good because that's reason that I changed companies was because of their pricing. Only one person comes to do the service and he's here for probably half-hour or 45 minutes.

I think they could be cheaper.

We tried for years on our own to rid ourselves of them. We were reluctant to use a company due to allergies and pets. We were also concerned about sprays used in the yard as we had a small garden and did not want to endanger the bees and butterflies we were working so hard to attract. Finally we gave in and hired Aptive based on their commitment to using safe, and environmentally sound products. We were so pleased to find their work ethic, their commitment to the world through the UN program to end Malaria, and their professionalism matched their product. We would recommend them to everyone.

A representative from Aptive rang our doorbell one evening and gave a good presentation about Aptive's comrehensive approach to pest control -- telling us that one year with Aptive could last 5-8 years (cutting down on repeated pest control visits). Because we were already considering hiring an exterminator to help with our wasp/bee problem, we agreed. After the initial agreement, we learned that this is essentially a year-long commitment. We were promised a "great, low" rate, but if we cancel before the year is up we will pay over $200 as a variation of a termination fee. Because they "had just one slot to fill tomorrow," we were supposedly getting a great, one-time deal that we needed to agree that very night. The technician came today. He was nice enough and listened to my requests before spraying. But when I asked for a receipt of the exact chemicals he had used, he said he didn't know. When I asked him to find out and write it down for me, he pointed me to the general aptive website. Time will tell if they will truly control all of the insects/mice/wasps/bees that they claim they will. However, I feel like a sucker for signing on to a full-year contract, and I don't think the technician who sprayed really knew anything about pest control (other than to just spray what he'd been told to spray and where).
