If you are used to going to a shoe repair shop, you know they can often be dirty/messy. Al Nola is nothing like this. It is clean, neat, and organized--which only makes one want to linger and peruse the shoe accessories for sale. Not only do they do shoes, but they repair and sell luggage. My work briefcase's zipper had broken and they fixed it quickly and for a very reasonable price. When it was done, it looked amazing--like the zipper had never been replaced. Terrific repair! They are located on Chagrin in Shaker Hts, which is not particularly close to my house. But it was well worth the drive.

They are the best in the business! We have been using them for everything! Back in the old days when brides and prom got their shoes dyed! They are the best!

I was extremely satisfied with the repairs. The support foot, which had broken at one of the places through which it was riveted to the bag, had been fully repaired and the two rivets replaced with screw fasteners. The top handle had been replaced and feels strong and sturdy. The zipper pull for the expandable zipper had also broken off while back, and the shop replaced the missing pull at no extra charge.

The store was clean, the staff was professional, the prices were reasonable, and the service was quick.

I always have trouble with the heel tips on my shoes and I've just never gotten around to getting into a shoe repair place to get them fixed, but I really needed my sequin heels for an event, so I bit the bullet and went to Al Nola's. I called ahead and asked how long it would take to fix and how much it would cost. The person I spoke with was very polite and told me it would be done (at the latest) next day and it would be around $8-16, depending on the size of the heel tip. I went in on Monday (open until 6) at 5:30 and asked if it was possible to have them fixed while I wait and they said it would be about 10 minutes. I paid - about $10.00 - and was out the door literally 5 minutes later. I wore the shoes this past Saturday and they were fabulous! They did a great job and I will definitely bring the rest of my shoes up to them to fix. I totally recommend them!

The price was reasonable. I liked the fact that they could do both. They did stuff while I waited sometimes. I have been there a couple of times. I didn’t like the fact that one time they didn’t have the stuff ready. I had to go back another time.

Price was perhaps a bit more than I expected, but the price was provided up front so it was not a surprise when I went to pick-up the bag. Regardless, the quality of work is always top notch such that Al Nola is entitled to whatever profit the market will bear. I will use again (and I drive in from Geauga County).

I took in a pair of shoes and a pair of boots into the shop. I asked the shoe repair person if the shoes I brought in could be repaired where I'd get a decent amount of wear out of them. He assured me that once new heels were put on and the tips were repaired, the shoes would be fine. The boots only needed heels. When I picked up the shoes and boots, I was very pleased with the way they looked. I waited to make this report after wearing the shoes and boots. It has been over a month since the repairs were made, and I am extremely pleased with the wear of both the shoes and boots.
