Collier Electric is the best around. Friendly, kind, affordable and ethical. Whenever I call they answer or call me back. They never turn away work unlike so many other contractors. City of Troy should feel blessed to have a company like Collier servicing us.

Eric was very professional and very courteous when he came out to look at my breaker box and provided me a super reasonable quote. We set an appointment at 6:00 am on the following Monday. Estevan arrived at 5:59 am and began working immediately. Estevan was extremely courteous, super thorough, explained everything to me and worked very hard to make things right! He ran into some problems with my old breaker box but he got everything straightened out and made sure everything ws to my satistfaction before he left. I will call them for all my electrial needs form here on out. Great company and great people.

I requested a visit from Collier Eletric due to issues with our lighting. Eric gave honest feedback to contact AES and our AC company to have our unit cleaned. He suggested that he have these steps completed prior to him to coming and charging a visit. He could have easily took the appointment and charged a visit and then gave these steps. He was very honest and helpful! I will definitely use him again!

It is with complete conviction that I write this review! Mr. Collier is an honest and earnest businessman who was able to resolve my issues, on TWO separate occasions, by a simple battery of questions. In a situation where Mr. Collier could have easily charged me hundreds of dollars, he simply asked questions that led me to a resolution without even having to step foot in my house. It is clear Mr. Collier takes pride in his company and his craftsmanship and I strongly recommend you utilize his services as he has proven to be beyond fair, honest, and knowledgeable. In a situation where other companies would have gladly taken my money; Mr. Collier considered the customer first! It is rare to find someone as honest and knowledgeable as this organization. Don’t waste your time with other electricians, call Collier! Best decision EVER! This man and his company is a rare find.

I was given a quote from another electric company who quoted me a very high price for work to be done. My realtor recommended Eric to me and he did the work for me at half the price. I have already recommended him to my sister who was very pleased with him as well. He cleaned up after he was done and he was a pleasure to work with. Excellent. Eric and his son were punctual and very professional. I was given a fair quote for the job, but when they actually did it they found it to be less complicated. I appreciated the fact Eric lowered my bill substantially since less work was involved. This is the third time we have hired Collier Electric for home electrical services. Every time has been excellent. Our second job involved much more work but they fixed a problem with light switches that had bothered us for four years. Eric and his son are professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. They are responsive and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend them and we will use them again when the need arises.

He was professional and over the top polite! He worked me in the day after I called, even though I know he was swamped. He was worried about our safety (possible fire hazard). Who does that any more?😊 I will DEFINITELY use this company for any future work! I was so impressed, I paid him more than he charged me. Again, who ever does that!

Eric always does a great job. He works quickly and cleans up the work site. Pricing was reasonable and he came precisely when he said he would arrive.

For this project I called on a Friday morning and Eric was able to get us on the schedule by the following Wednesday. He visited our home the day before to see what needed to be done and scheduled the work for the following morning bright and early at 6:30 AM. The job was done quickly and as always, the work was precise and neatly finished. This is the third project that Collier Electric has done for us at different properties in the past 18 months and if we need electrical work done in the future, Eric is the first person I would call. We've always found him to be prompt, polite, honest and reasonably priced. We highly recommend him.

I have had a lot of contractors come to my old house over time, but no one has been as honest, thorough, and have near the quality of craftsmanship that Eric Collier performs. If I ever have an electric need, there is no one else I'll ever go to.

I was very satisfied with the results of the project and the service Eric provided. The project required two separate visits--initial installation of the panel and rough in, then a final visit once I had insulated and covered the walls. He was extremely punctual and responsive, going out of his way to schedule early morning appointments for the quote visit and both service visits. He was also happy to answer questions I had during the the insulation and finishing process. In the end, we discovered one minor issue with a switch, but Eric came out the next day and took care of it without hesitation. I would highly recommend Collier Electric to anyone.

I found Collier Electric on Angie's list. We recently moved to this area and didn't really know anyone to call for electrical service. I called on Monday morning and left a message. Eric returned my call later that day and I explained that we just purchased a new hot tub and needed to have it hooked up. Eric came to our home the next morning to have a look at what was needed and called me later that day to explain what was required and how much it would be. He had an opening on Friday and we arranged to have the work completed. The job looks great and works perfectly. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Eric is a very polite and professional person who knows his business. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others and will definitely use him again if I need electrical work completed.

They were great! They gave me an estimate and I told them what I wanted done and they did the job no problem, very prompt.

What a great experience! Eric came out and gave estimate. He scheduled a time to come out and complete the work. He thought he could get it done in a day, but it would be an early day. The night before the work was to be done, he called to double check some information in regards to the generator. He arrived at 7:00am (as scheduled) along with another employee. They got right to work, performed everything as he said they would. Eric realized the house wasn't grounded and suggested that be fixed and he did so. All work was completed in a day and everything cleaned up. Eric and Dre were so nice and so professional! We would 100% recommend Collier Electric and will use them again as needed.

I had electrical problems for quite some time and had replaced an outlet myself about a year ago, thinking I had done a good job. The outlet I replaced it with was of the same kind that had been in the house previous to my moving in. I recently came home and found the electric off in four rooms of the house, but the fuse hadn't tripped off. I found that I would get sparks when I unplugged and plugged something back into this particular outlet, and all the lights suddenly came back on. I called Eric at Collier Electric and booked an appointment. He went out of his way to schedule a very early (VERY EARLY) morning appointment since he was concerned about my safety. Once he took a look at the outlet, type of wires, and fuse box setup, he instantly knew how to correctly fix the problem. Great customer service, prompt, on-time, he called ahead, professional, great personality, and great crew.

We were having issues with our power supply in our home (dim lights, no AC) so we called Eric on a Wednesday evening around 6:30pm. After informing him of the problem he told us that it sounded like an issue with our power supplier so instead of charging us for after hours emergency electrician services he advised us we should call our power company first. Shortly after we hung up, Eric called back and said they were finishing up another job near our home so he would stop over and check out our problem and make sure we were safe while we waited for our power company to send someone out. He did not charge us anything- he just truly wanted to make sure our problem was properly taken care of. He followed up with us later that night to find out if the power company fixed our problem. He was very professional and very caring! I definitely will be calling him in the event I need an electrician in the future!
