+ 0 moreDave did an excellent job with the steps, the drywall, the closet and the beam. He made good suggestions as to how the job should best be completed and implemented those ideas professionally. He was friendly and careful and completed the work in a timely manner. It looks great! His pricing is very good. I would call him for another project, definitely.
Description of Work: The steps from the first floor to our basement were "open style" (with no risers between the steps) (un-aesthetic), and were pulling away from the supporting wall (dangerous). We also had some new exposed electrical conduit running the length of the ceiling in what was otherwise a finished basement room. Dave reworked the steps by securing them to the wall and setting risers between the treads, and then by enclosing the stairwell and building in a closet underneath the steps. The conduit was enclosed in a wooden beam running the length of the room.
