Hudson Heating & AC

Hudson replaced my furnace, heat pump and ran new duct work and return air in 2005 for a cost of $17,000. We had continuous problems after that. Could not get the air conditioning to cool the house in the summers or the heat to heat the house in the winters. They're service people were very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. We were constantly being lied to and there were times their serviceman would not even show up but tell the office he did. After two years of the air conditioner not cooling they brought in the Carrier factory tectnicians to tell them the new heat pump was bad. After 6 years of the heat not doing the job they finally had a good service man come out and solved the problem in one call. He quit shortly after that because he got tired of straightening out the other tects bad work. Fortunately we had a 10 year contract as they replaced the heat pump for times in 8 years. They have gone out of business and the company who bought their contracts is a very professional and excellent company.

Got home and found the furnace was off, and wouldn't ignite. Did what I knew to do to no avail, so I gave Hudson a ring. Called around 4 on a Friday, and luckily there was a tech in the area. He was on site within an hour of me calling, and had the furnace back up inside an hour. Turns out the water trap was plugged with sludge/whatever, and one of the hoses had come loose. $80 diag fee plus $100 to fix it, and I had heat again just before the snow hit.

We probably spent a couple of hundred dollars may be on their services. They just gave us really good service. The customer service was good when we called them. The technicians came out and did a really good job. We will use them again in the future.

Scheduled several months in advance for when weather would be above 60 degrees to perform freon level checks. Technician arrived on time and performed tasks with little interaction, he explained the services performed and recommended that I use a hose on the outside compressor to clean it several times during the summer as it accumates lint from the dryer vent located near by. He took extra time to completely dismantle the outside compressor to clean the accumulated lint. Very happy with the service and the recommendations.

They are always on time and do a great job.

THEY FIXED IT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY GOT THE PART SHIPPED IN OVERNIGHT AND FIXED THE FURNACE THE NEXT DAY. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.

THEY ARE VERY EFFICIENT. I LIKE HOW THE COMPANY IS RUN. YOU CAN TELL THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE AND ARE WILLING TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS.
