Kevin and his crew arrived on time and after a discussion of my expectations, He directed them to begin by tarping the perimeter of the house including the deck and driveway, before removing the old roof and put all materials in a trailer to be removed from the site upon completion of the project. They removed the old box vents, repaired the openings and installed a Winterguard ice barrier along the eve section of the roof, then applied synthetic felt paper to the roof boards. Next they installed a an eve drip into the gutters and begun the re-roof with starter strip, installed Owen Corning Tru-Definition, Duration Shingles and installed a new ridge vent system. All chimney flashing was replaced with step flashing which was first caulked with clear sealant, capped with another flashing that was cut into the mortar joints 1/2" and sealed with the same material as the step flashing. The vent stacks and electrical power stacks were booted and painted to match the trim of the home. Before the crew left the premises on Saturday evening, they walked around the home picking up every nail and scrap of roofing material. The trailer was left in the yard overnight, before they left it they covered the material so that nothing would blow around, should a wind come up. They returned as soon as the frost was off the roof and completed the job to my satisfaction. When they left the property, the only evidence that they had been there was the beautiful new roof!! Kevin provided me with a 10 year 100% guarantee material and labor, should anything fail to meet my expectations!! Mr. Gullett and his crew were very professional. We are delighted with our new roof and the big plus is that they were very reasonable, but no corners were cut with the materials. I am confident that this roof will out live me and my wife.
