+ -1 moreCarl arrive promptly and immediately diagnosed that the filters were clogged from all the construction we womere going through. We did not have spare filters and he offered to pick some up for us as we are handicapped. He returned, changed the filters and added 1lb of freon. AC works like a charm.
Description of Work: Air conditoner had frozen up the day before and we called for service at 4pm on Friday. He scheduled an appointment for Saturday at noon.

+ -1 moreHe immediately confirmed time and date of visit, showed up on time, was very courteous to my wife, animal friendly and he fixed the problem, washed out the A/C unit and-explained to my wife that he added freon and that the Brand we have is known to leak alitte R410A freon over the winter. He charges less than the competition and gives more effort during his visit.
Description of Work: Carl was called to check A/C unit was not cooling as normal. He checked unit and discovered that is was low on the new R410A freon which is at a higher pressure, and Carl explained that my Luxaire A/C Unit is known in the service world to leak alittle due to high pressure in system. He added a pound of refrigerant and cleaned the coils of outside unit. I have read that if your A/C Unit does not have a hard-start kit on it you should consider installing one.

+ -1 moreAgain he confirmed time and date of visit promptly, showed-up on time and fixed the issue. Carl explained to my wife that he added a pound of R410A freon due to a small leak over the winter which it not unusual for my brand of A/C unit and the high pressure of the refrigerant. He ashed out the outside unit coils and also checked my second 1 ton A/C unit which was okay. He did not charge me and would not accept money for the extra work.
Description of Work: Carl recharged a pound of freon to A/C unit as he did last year due to leakage of the R410A freon. He washed the Outside unit and he checked my second 1 ton unit which was okay and he refused to charge me or take cash for the extra work. His type of service technician is long gone. I recommend him to all out there I will continue to use him.
