Description of Work: We purchased 10 triple-paned windows for the front of our house as an energy efficiency improvement after a recommendation from a friend and after seeing the construction of the sashes and frames when we visited their showroom. | |They came out once in the spring to measure our existing windows for replacement, and a second time in June to install. The installer noticed a problem with one of the sashes not latching as well as it should and ordered a replacement sash, which he brought a few weeks later. There was no fuss and no muss. Everyone we had contact with from sales to receptionist to the install team were very professional. | |We are very happy with the quality. We plan to buy from them again when we replace windows in the rest of the house. | |

+ -1 moreAlways pleased with how nice the schedulers are, and how fast they send people out when a problem happens. Employees are very friendly, courteous and professional. Don't know if the new lift trouble was an installation problem or a parts problem, but was extremely happy with how quickly and easily it was resolved.
Description of Work: Garage door spring broke then a month later the lift mechanism with the circuit board failed. Decided because of age and amount used to replace the whole opener. After installation it seemed ok initially but seemed to be an increase in noise and vibration over old system. Called company and they sent someone out immediately to trouble-shoot until he found a part was missing in the new lift.

He suggested I replace both springs, which I had him do, as it seemed prudent to have a matched set. The service was quick, and the door has operated flawlessly since the repair. Overall I have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend this company to others.

+ 0 moreAfter the sales rep came to measure the installer came to take exact measurements. He estimated it would take 4-6 weeks for the order to be ready for installation. They were ready in 4 weeks. The 3 windows were installed on one day, but it was too rainy to install the slider. The installer came back the next day to do it. He was friendly, professional, and did a fantastic job. I am very happy with his workmanship! Mitres look wonderful, and he cleaned up afterwards and hauled the trash and old windows away. When I can afford to replace the rest of the windows in my house, I will use Toledo Door and Window again.
Description of Work: Toledo Door and Window replaced three odd-sized casement windows and an oversized sliding glass door. I chose this company because of its good Angie's List reviews, but also because the product is constructed at a local factory.The literature they provide online about how the windows are constructed and the glossary of the industry terms was very helpful. Their showroom was helpful, but might have scared me away if I hadn't asked about some of the irregular mitre joints I noticed on display windows. It was explained that they use the showroom as a way to test potential installer's work. Apparently they don't employ the workmen who did the bad joints, because windows and door they installed in my house have perfect joints. Toledo Door and Window sent a sales rep to the house to measure. He pointed out things I hadn't thought of when choosing the hardware. For example, I thought I should try to match the style of the kitchen cabinet door hardware, which I'm not that fond of. He suggested I look at the main appliances because those are new and can't be replaced as economically as the the cupboard hardware. It was a good suggestion. The hardware looks great with the kitchen.

+ -1 moreToledo Door and Window replaced a brand new garage door. They were out the same day, replaced the door with one of much higher quality. The cable was considerably thicker and we have NEVER had an issue with the door or operation. These guys are GREAT.

+ -1 moreI had called Monday morning and was told to expect someone in the afternoon. I requested 30 minutes notice before coming out, so I could get home from work. I was called around 1:00 and told the repairman would be waiting for me. Service was done quickly and professionally and Kirk gave me helpful tips on yearly maintenance of the door and opener myself to avoid costly repairs in the future. He also repaired the lights on the opener, which had not worked for several years. A very positive experience, I wish all were like Kirk at Toledo Window and Door!
Description of Work: The bottom strip of my door had frozen to the ground and become separated from the panel. Additionally the panel had become cracked through this usage. I was expecting to have to have the entire bottom panel replaced, however Kirk from Toledo Door and Window said he could refasten this strip with several screws as reinforcement and also replaced the rubber sealing strip on the bottom of the door. He also serviced my garage door opener (cleaning, oiling etc.) without my asking.

+ -1 moreMarcia Mason is so efficient and knowledgeable. Once my order door came in to their warehouse they were on the phone to me the same day to deliver and install. There was a problem with one of the panels (paint chip 0. The new part was ordered the same day and it was installed promptly. They are good people with great customer service practices.
Description of Work: I had a tree fall on my house and garage door. They were fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. They did everything they said they would do, including lots of follow up phone calls.
