I contacted the company in early September to get an estimate on replacing my existing steel garage door and door opener. The existing door and opener were almost 18 years old, and although still operative, I decided I wanted a better insulated door and an opener with belt drive instead of chain drive. The company representative, Ryan Roth, came out on Sept. 4 to discuss our options and give us a price. I was impressed with Ryan's knowledge and ability to answer our questions. Since the price also seemed reasonable I decided to hire them to do the work. We knew the door would not be in for 2-3 weeks, and when we came back from a short vacation there was a message on our answering machine from Ryan indicating that the door was in and to call him to schedule an installation date and time. We settled on Oct. 1 at 9:00 AM. When no one had arrived by 10:00 AM, I called the company and was connected to someone in scheduling. Apparently another customer had been scheduled for the same day in the morning as well. The installer who was doing the other morning job called me from the field and indicated that he could come around 1:00 PM to do our job. This was the only problem we encountered in the course of this project. When Tom and his helper arrived around 1:00 PM to install the door and opener all went well. They completed the job in about three hours and spent some time explaining the use of the remote controls, the outside keyboard, and the inside wall switch and menus. After using the door and opener for about a week, I noticed that the door seemed to be noisy, so I called the company and they scheduled a follow-up visit to check it out. Their technician, Wade. came out and made a few adjustments and lubricated the springs and other moving parts. Now the door opens and closes almost without noise. I am very satisfied with the new door and opener and the service that Quality Overhead Door has provided. To improve their service one more notch, I suggest that someone in the office call customers one to two days in advance of the scheduled service date to confirm the date and, especially, the time.

I called and Dave came out to inspect my broken door when it was convenient for me. He was very informative and helpful. I felt comfortable with him. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. A new door had to be ordered and it arrived in short time. The installer came out on Saturday to install it. The installers work for Quality Overhead Door which is very nice. No middle man involved. He was very nice and did a wonderful job installing my door. He also fixed the way my garage door opener was installed. The idiot that lived in my house before me obviously didn't know what he was doing. The cost of the door was the lowest I could find anywhere. As luck would have it, Quality Overhead Door was running a great sale at the time. I work at a big box home improvement store and my guys there couldn't beat the price...even with my discount! It was a great experience dealing with this company. I recommend Quality Overhead Door to everyone!

It's not often in your lifetime that you need to buy a new garage door but the people at Quality Overhead door made it very relaxing and stress free. The estimate was provided, on time, with no sales pressure or "up-selling" efforts. Dave was very upfront and honest. The price was better than I expected. The job was scheduled on a Friday and the installer showed up on time and changed out the door in a 1/2 day, cleaning up completely afterwards. There was a small problem with the lift clearance (due to a previous issue with the configuration of my garage) but they came back out the next day to adjust it to get as much clearance as possible. I would recommend this company without reservation.

The quality of the doors made by CHI is superb, and the installers knew what they were doing. All three doors work great and look great, and the installed price was very competitive. They cleaned-up after they were done, and you would never know that they were there. Andy, the sales person was very knowlegable and prompt with quotes, feedback and scheduling.I would definitely reccommend this firm to others. OUTSTANDING!

My garage door unit was not pulling the chain well and allowing the door to go up in small increments. I wasn't sure what the problem was when I called and figured I may need to replace the unit, figuring big bucks! I called first thing in the morning and they were able to get me in the same day. They worked around my busy schedule and found a time that worked best. When the repairman arrived, he quickly realized it was a gear that had wore out and was stripped. Within an hour, he had the garage door unit repaired with a new gear and showed me the damage on the old one. He mentioned that this is normal wear and usually needs replacing every 7 years, pending on use. He also checked the rails and made sure everything was working properly before he left. They did a great job and I would recommend them again!

John came out and provide an estimate with a recommended replacement door within 24 hours of my call. He answered all of my questions and got the service scheduled quickly. I had a full-size door replaced the the installer did a great job...he was quick and very professional. I would definitely recommend Quality Overhead Door to anyone.

Called and requested service for the broken tension spring. They asked me how old the door and opener were, what kind of door it was, and when it was last serviced. Based on the door's 20 year old nature, they recommended changing both springs. They also said the complete check up was included as a freebie with the spring change. We made an appointment for the next day. The service man showed up on time, in uniform, and in a marked truck. He took about 45 minutes to complete the job. There were no surprises and the door has worked perfectly. I would call these guys first if I ever need service again.

I called 4 garage door vendors and Quality Overhead Door, Inc. had the lowest price. When I called to arrange service Quality Overhead Door offered to come out the same day but I asked them to come out the following day because it was late in the day. The repairman, Pete B arrived when he said he would and not only replaced the torsion springs but also fixed everything else wrong with our garage door, including the sticky door open button, loose timed light, loose chain, and bent mounting hardware. Pete was very good natured and, if appearances can be trusted, seem to be a very trustworthy individual.
