+ -1 moreOur normal provider would pull the cover and inspect it, lay it out in the driveway to dry, add water if necessary, clean around the coping, brush the sidewalls, clean the leaves out of the bottom as necessary, start up the pump, add chemicals, fold & stow the safety cover, and set the solar cover in place. Basically get the pool to a point where it would be usable when it reached temperature. As you can see it is far more thorough than what we got from this provider (I have listed everything that was done in the section above. My wife believes she informed them that we would need water when she made this appointment. All I got was being told put the hose in it and it should be ready for me to turn on the pump around 5:00 PM. I asked them if they were going to return and complete the job I was told to just turn on the pump and add the two gallons of shock myself. Wondering if the crew was just trying to get through the schedule for the day, since it was Friday, I called the office and was told that since the pool needed water that they considered the service complete. So for my money I got the service of 2 people for 20 minutes and some pool shock. It is safe to say I will not make the same mistake again.
Description of Work: Took the safety cover off pool, folded it, and left it on the deck. Removed plug & installed discharge nozzle in pool Removed plug from pump inlet. Connected discharge hose from pump Put the ladder back in.

Description of Work: They have opened and closed my pool since I bought my house and I will continue to use them. They have also repaired my pump once. All three experiences were top notch. Bill is very knowledgeable and helped me troubleshoot one issue I was having over the phone to save me a service call!

Description of Work: I purchased a Master Spa hot tub from them. It was delivered right on time and they set it up, filled it, etc. to make sure everything was working properly before they left. I love my hot tub and would highly recommend Preffered Pools & Spa.

Description of Work: We selected this business because of the ratings and comments listed. The business set up a service call that would work for us. The crew was on time. They immediately diagnosed the cause of the leak in our spa and explained that it would be a simple fix with a small part they had on the truck. Since the repair was not complex, they only charged for the service call, which was a kind gesture and one that will remind us to call them if there are future issues with the spa. It wouldn't be fair to expect a service provider to provide a more costly part free of charge, but one that may have been less than a couple dollars was just a nice way of showing they appreciated the business. We recommend and will use this business again.
