This company does not stand behind their sub-contractors workmanship. I recently hired Ohio Roofing and siding to reside my house. Having done business with them in the past and having a good experience I expected the same on this new project. After rushing through an install both Mike and John Fox refused to correct the improperly installed products. The house also has damage caused by the installers that went unrepaired. Now they have field a lien on our house to get paid for work that is still incomplete. I am now having to spend even more money to sue their company. YOU WILL REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Service went good! They took previous roofs off with no problem, everything was good. The only problem I had was they left a few nails on the yard. They did put tarps down to cover the nails but there were some left nails on the ground that I ran over with my mowing tractor which gave my tractor a flat tire. I had to go get one of those metal detector to find all the nails left behind

All of the work was of high quality and was done promptly. Communication was excellent, so that we always new the progress on the projects and if there were any questions. The workers were skilled and considerate. John Fox oversaw the work in great detail. A very positive experience.

They had it all done while we were gone and it looked nice, it's a thirty year roof and we just didn't wanna have deal with roof any more in our lives. I had checked around for prices and they were pretty reasonable in price. I'd recommend them to anybody to use. It doesn't take long to do a roof when these guys do it, they bring in a dumpster or something and they tear off the roof and they haul all that stuff away and they even cleaned up any loose nails that would have been around.

They were as concerned about it as I was I mean they wanted to make sure that it was right. They honored their warranty.

Went so-so. Had trouble reaching Jim to get a firm work date. One day, his men just showed up in our backyard. Job was done in 2 days. After 1st day, I had to pick up water bottles & McDonald's drink cup from the yard. They ultimately did clean up after they were done, but I am still picking up very small pieces of plastic. The work doesn't look bad, but the guys did cut my phone line and tear the screen in the back sliding door (which they did fix, after some prompting). I am not sure if they should have caulked the new vents they put in; there is a new water mark on an inside ceiling near the place where an exhaust vent is installed. This company came highly recommended, but I'm not impressed.

It was very good. They did a really good job. There was a little problem but they fixed it right away so it was good. They were pretty punctual.

We worked with Mike Fox, one of the owners. He was friendly, and prompt. We had several estimates and felt this company gave us a fair price. The installation and service was exceptional, no complaints. I highly recommend this company.

This company is incredible. They did a fabulous job-our porch has evoked numerous compliments from anyone who comes over to visit. The workers were all super hard working and reliable. They paid great attention to detail and were wonderful about answering any and all questions we had about the construction. The finished product shows the great work. To top it all off, after we had the porch installed a number of years later, I accidentally got a window out of the frame. Within 5 minutes of my call Mr. Fox called me back personally-and within 40 minutes there were 2 repairmen here . Their service was superlative. I can' t say enough good about this company-they set the gold standard for fantastic work and standing by their products.

1st of all , the roof shingles had a 25 year warranty, which was the main reason( defective material shingles), why the roof deteriorated. Company would not honor 100percent the warranty . Wanted to charge me $1000 to fix. The company agreed to fix roof under warranty, however, I would have to call at least 8 to 10 times before anything happened. Finally, a knock on the door 2 months later telling me they were here to repair roof( no phone call). After repairing the roof I asked if there was any paperwork, on which one of the workers said NO and I should call if I have anymore problems. A few weeks later, I receive an invoice for almost $1000. I called and told them I had not signed any contract or had I ever received any paperwork, no documentation. Needless to say, I agreed to pay 1/2 the invoice, only because the workers had done a good job and were there almost 4 hours. Also roof was 10 years old. I must of made at least 8 to 10 calls to Mr Fox , without receiving a call back. TRRRIBLE customer relations. I do not know how this company has remained in business for so long. Never again!

They were excellent. The entire crew was very pleasant to work with. They also made sure to completely clean up all debris.

Ohio Roofing & Siding Co. They were good with their quote because it was higher at other companies, they got out here very quickly and got the job done very quickly in one day. They were just very courteous.

Overall, the job went very well. The installers were very proficient and had the new windows installed quickly in one day. A couple of windows had been damaged during shipping from the manufacturer, but, the replacements arrived within a couple days and were installed promptly. I have used Ohio Roofing and Siding for roofing and windows previously and appreciate the salesman, Jim Fox. He is very nice, polite and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and took care of everything. It was a good experience from start to finish. I will definitely use this company again and have recommended them to others.

He recommended somebody for painting work, as well. The experience went very well. Their price was the same as other estimates we got.

They did a good job. They were quick and they cleaned up the mess. I had some questions and they came back to answer all of them. I didn’t have any problem with them. I thought their prices were competitive. I called a couple of places and their prices were competitive as they weren’t the most expensive neither they were the cheapest. They had also done my roof about ten years ago and that’s why I called them again. The work was fine. They were very professional.

I contacted Ohio Roofing and Siding for an estimate on Adding a four season room on to my house. Mind you this was my first experience at doing something like this. I'm a single mom and did not know anyone that could give me guidance on this. Ohio Roofing and Siding has been in business for many years, so I figured they must be reputable. In hind site I should have done more research before I hired them. I met with the owner and told him what I wanted. I signed a contract with him and the work began. I later found out that a building permit had not been pulled and the building code was not being followed. No inspections had been done. I contacted a lawyer and he wrote a letter to Ohio Roofing and Siding which informed them they would not be receiving the balance I owed them until they took it apart so that the appropriate inspections could be performed. I guess they chose to be short $10,000 dollars instead of getting the inspection. I will never use their services again and I continue to tell others of my situation and how I was treated. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

The job went very well. They put a new roof on my house about 6 years ago and it was fabulous. They have also installed a new access door to my garage and they also did come trim work in the past. They have done quite a bit of work done by them in the past 7 years. The Fox Family owns it and we have had a great experience with them. They recommended the mold remediation company we used before we installed the new insulation. I did not do a lot of pricing but I would say they were competitive.

Owner came to do the estimate and was prompt and extremely pleasant. However, we did not have the work done, with this company as their estimate was approximately 25% more than other companies.

I purchased the home in October of 2007. I noticed a leak in the ceiling of the living room and also a bedroom. I had some chimney contractors come and give me estimates for the chimney and kept an eye on the leak in the bedroom as it was a slow leak. During this time, both my mother and father passed away and I had some other personal family emergencies so I kind of put off the roof and chimney leaks and at that time I didn't know who even put on the new roof and had done the chimney work. A few weeks ago I was talking to my neighbor and I told him about the leaks and he told me who did the work and said it should be under warranty as the roof was not that old. I called Ohio Roofing and a man from this company came out and I showed him the leaks in my home and he went on the roof and then said he couldn't find anything wrong. I told him obviously something was wrong as he had seen the leaks in the living room and in the bedroom and he said he couldn't find anything wrong and he would go back and talk to the owner and see if he would come over and look and see if he could find something he missed. A few days later, Mr. Fox, the owner called from Ohio Roofing and said his guy couldn't find anything wrong with the roof or chimney and anyway it wasn't under warranty. I told him when I had purchased the home and told him I understood they put the new roof on in 2000 and had done the flashing around the chimney then and he said yes they had but there was nothing he could do because it was not under warrant, that I was not the original owner and it was a non transferable warranty. I told him I had had several contractors over to inspect the roof and chimney and that they chimney work was not done properly and he said he was not responsible because again it was a non transferable warranty. I told in that in essence then what he was telling me that people put on new roofs every 8 to 10 years and he said no, that wasn't what he was telling me but again he wasn't responsible because I wasn't the original owner and the warranty wasn't transferable. I told him that was some way to do business, not standing behind your work and that I guess I would just have to turn things over to my attorney then. I did have another contractor come out who did say I did not need a new roof, but the flashing they did around the chimney was not done correctly so they are going to fix that and he did find where the leak was coming from in the bedroom and that is going to be taken care of. I've never heard of a company that did work on a roof and a chimney not standing behind their work even if someone else bought the home. Every other contractor I talked to said even if they had done the work and someone else bought the home, they would stand behind the warranty and make whatever was wrong right. I would never use Ohio Roofing for anything if this is how Mr. Fox operates his business.

They were prompt, had good ideas on what needed to be done. They provided a comprehensive quote and would not break the quote down even though we requested it. They were excessively higher than next highest quote. (Thousands and thousands!) They also dismissed my wife's requests. So even if they would have been competitive, we would not have done business with them.

After interviewing several other companies it was apparent that there are a lot of people in the business who rely extensively on subcontractors and temporary help. Some who bid this had no experience with this specialty material and if installed as they proposed would have even voided the warranty! When we checked the BBB, several failed. When we drove to their office locations several were working out of tiny locations in business parks with no apparent assets. We made a good choice with this company. They are vertically integrated, experienced, dependable and sticklers for detail. They did an excellent job and were real perfectionists in their work. While not inexpensive, this was a lot of work and could have been a disaster with a run of the mill contractor. The house looks great.

We had wind damage so this was a claim covered by insurance. OH Roofing previously replaced our roof, so they were one of three estimates we received. Salesman came out quickly and gave us an estimate that was slightly higher than one of the other estimates. We went with OH Roofing because they been in business a long time and the salesman was knowledgeable and professional and he followed up with us promptly (the other 2 companies dropped off the estimate and never checked back with us). They did the trim work, overhangs, etc. The crew that did the work was timely and efficient. The only issue is a small piece of trim started coming up. My husband called and they were out right away and repaired it promptly with no fee. It's been 6 months and the siding looks great and we have had no further issues.
