Maumee Valley Movers

John, Jordan and Todd from Maumee Valley Movers moved two pianos for us and did an excellent job. One piano was a baby grand, which was moved into the first floor. But the most difficult part was our request to put the upright piano on our second floor. It was an extremely tight fit due to the particular angle of our stairwell. The three men were extremely cautious and professional, and I feel they gave me fair warning and complete information about the likelihood of them actually being able to successfully get the piano into my son's second floor bedroom. They told me they wouldn't charge me the 'second floor moving charge' if they were not able to correctly move it up there. After witnessing the whole process, I doubt there are many other moving teams out there that would have safely been able to get that upright piano up our stairs without damaging the piano or the home...I would guess other movers would have just thrown their hands up and told me that moving that upright to the second floor is impossible. For our family, it was pretty valuable to have the pianos on two different floors because we have several teens/children who are seriously into music and practice music in the evenings simultaneously.

This company is awesome. Tim was able to get my appointment in quicker than I expected. Ryan and Justin were quick and fantastic for the amount of stuff that I had to move. I will definitely use them again if in the Toledo area. =)

Everything went smoothly. Jordan and Ryan H. were prompt on the morning scheduled. They were very professional, protected the items being moved and the house they were moving the items from. No damage was incurred. They were very communicative and hustled to get the job done promptly. Thanks for the good work!

Maumee Valley Movers did a wonderful job with our move. James, Jon and Greg moved all of our items with care. They did a wonderful job moving two heavy pianos, even helping get the grand piano setup. I recommend MVM very highly!

Two young men were very quick and went above and beyond to complete the job.

Ryan H. and Winston, were very careful when moving the furniture, to not hit walls, etc. They were polite and worked quickly. The estimated time was 3 hours and they did it in less time. Which saved me money. I would definitely use Maumee Valley Movers again.

I am beyond impressed with this company. From the first time I called, they have been nothing but helpful. They were a little more expensive than some of the other companies I called, but I am so happy I went with them. Jon and Dillon showed up right on time and were phenomenal. They basically had one bedroom already loaded into the truck in the time it took me to sign the contract. Within two hours of them showing up at our old apartment, all of our stuff was moved into the new place. I'm sure this was a smaller job for them, but I am still very impressed. The guys were very professional and helpful, even after we had a bunch of extra stuff for them to move. In between trips to the truck, they sprinted and we basically had to force them to take some water. The day after our move, I got a call from the owner to make sure everything went smoothly and that I was satisfied. I am so happy I decided to go with this company and cannot imagine going without MVM for any moving related need(s) I have int he future. Perfect.

We contacted MVM because they had positive reviews on Angie's list. They were very responsive and answered all of our questions. The two gentlemen who actually moved us, Max and Todd, were punctual, courteous and very professional. They worked extremely hard and much of our furniture was very heavy and awkward to handle. They were very careful not to damage a thing. I would definitely use them again if I was crazy enough to ever move again.

We had originally contacted another company who would not commit to a date and time after calling them for two weeks. We had a tight schedule and the moving date was drawing near. We called MVM and sent them, by email, a list of items we wanted to have moved. Within that same day we had an estimate and were on the schedule. The movers arrived on time and were very professional, friendly, and polite. They took great care of our things. When unloading in Maumee they were committed to making sure we were happy with the placement of each item. They stayed on task and were finished earlier than expected which saved us money. We would recommend MVM for location to location moves and in-home moves!

I had quite a good deal of heavy furniture and appliances, along with many boxes and clothes. They never stopped, never slowed down, and never complained. These guys know what they are doing. They are polite and professional.

The crew was EXCELLENT! They worked hard (the items were 90% boxes which is difficult because it's many trips between the truck, up and down stairs) but they never stopped! It took 7 hours and two trips from the storage unit so you can image how much stuff they had to carry in. This is the 2nd time we've used this moving company within the past month and I would give them my 100% recommendation to anyone looking for a moving service. This company has definitely proven themselves to me! The guys were also friendly, courteous and dedicated. Thanks Again!!!!

Overall good experience. The staff and moving crews were very nice and professional. The office manager was awesome communicating with me and was a big reason I chose MVM. I had to play phone tag with the persons providing quotes but in the end all was ok. The only bad thing was I requested 4 movers and only 3 showed up to work. I was not told this when the crews contacted me stating they were leaving the warehouse nor did I receive a call from the owner/person in charge. I know it's not MVM fault that this mover was a no show, but they should also have contingency plans in place for when this happens (Person in charge should have personally called me to tell me that there were 3 instead of 4 movers coming). These are the reasons I gave C's in the two categories. The move took a little longer with 3 workers but the job got done. Again, really nice men moving us that were very professional. I would hire again.

We couldn't have been more happy with James & Jonathan ... what an awesome team! They were hard working, fast, friendly & polite!!! They would move something twice if they had it in the wrong spot even when I said it was ok to leave it because "that's what they were there for!" I am scheduling them to do another move for things I have in a storage unit in September when the rent is up!! This is a local family owned business and they care! Support your local community and consider using them for your next move! They will even move things around in your house!!

The move went very well. They were on time and took care with what they were doing. The team had to get the piano up a flight of stairs. When they arrived they moved anything that might be in their way and put down pads to keep the carpet clean. When they finished they returned everything to it's original location. The guys were polite and we're careful with their work.

I could not have been more pleased with the service. Approximately 5 years ago I hired a different "Glass City" :-) mover and it was a disaster. They moved almost the identical items but it costs over $200 more and they broke, dented, or scratched various item. Maumee Valley Movers was the exact opposite. I have told everyone at work that these are the people to hire. There is a reason they have such a great rating with Angie's list. Thank you-thank you!

They provided 2 trucks and 4 men to do the job. They were very efficient and careful with our furniture and moved it all without any damage. They also set up the baby grand piano and carefully reattached the legs and foot peddles after delivering it to our new home. They were all very personable, polite, and trustworthy. I recommend them highly.

Maumee Valley Movers were great every step of the way. Kim was very nice on the phone, Tony gave us our estimate and recommendations, and the movers themselves were careful, courteous, fast and friendly. They did an excellent job with two fully packed trucks and a long hot day of hard work. I have already recommended them to several people, and will hire them the next time I need movers.

They did everything they said they would do. Nothing broken and absolutely no issues of any kind. Well worth the cost. Priced three movers all on Angie's list. They didn't have all the bells and whistles as one of the other movers but were 2K cheaper and followed through was 100%. No hesitation using them again. The two men they had moving us never slowed down, worked from the time they showed up until the time they left.

The guys at MVM were very courteous and friendly. They were quick and efficient and made our stressful move a bit easier. They were even willing to put in a little extra time to help unload some boxes from a Uhaul we had rented too. Super great crew. Highly recommend!

Fantastic. There were some unpreventable problems which Tony handled with the greatest professionalism. He and his crew were wonderful. Such hustle, amazing. I highly recommend them.

The movers were great. Very careful with delicate items. Explained how they were going to handle these items. Worked continuously for eight hours. Very friendly and helpful. Will use them again.

My daughter moved from Pittsburgh to Toledo. The guys arrived with an empty truck ready to move everything out of a second story 2-bedroom apartment. The movers were friendly and did a great job maneuvering heavy furniture in a tight stairwell. They let my daughter know when they were about 20 minutes away from her apartment and did the same when they got to her new house. I would highly recommend Maumee Valley Movers.
