The work done was excellent. No other company we called was able to make a gate in the size we were requesting, so though the price was high, they did provide exactly what we wanted and it turned out great. The only reason I would not give them an A was due to a lack of communication. When we called to make an appointment, we were told they were "4-6 weeks out" and we would be getting a phone call to make an appointment. After a month, we called again and left a message. Now, this was during the rainy period we had recently, so probably their schedule was being delayed due to the weather. But we called three times and left three messages with no return calls. Then one day someone showed up completely unexpected and installed the gate -- and he did a great job! So, if you're not in a big hurry and you don't mind the work being done on their schedule without any notice, I would highly recommend this company.

Called in order to get an estimate on having several privacy fence sections replaced. Spoke with an employee who took down my name, number, address,and email. Never received a return call, or email about the estimate or getting the work done. Very unprofessional when a company can not provide the simplest of estimates or at the least give a reason for not responding or showing up.

.Installers were fantastic. Extremely polite, worked with me on the exact gate placements that I wanted, even cleaned up around the post holes. We have heavy clay soil so this was no small thing! Job took almost exactly as long as they said it would and the quality is phenomenal. The wire used inside the fence is heavy 12.5 gauge, not the cheap 14 gauge stuff we were quoted other places. The whole fence looks amazing. The only reason I bumped the "Professionalism" down one star was for the estimator Steve. Overall his service was satisfactory. Quote was quickly done, nicely written out for us and that's what made us choose this company. However, it didn't come with a picture and I asked when I accepted the quote for a phone call to schedule the installation as I wanted to be sure I was home. I'm really glad I was running late when the installers showed up two days later with no warning! It tuned out that they couldn't begin anyway because the utilities had not yet been marked, but whew! When I discussed the install with the installers there were some errors in the drawing (that I didn't get to see until they got there) so I am glad that both I was running late and that the utilities weren't done yet, otherwise I might have had a fence that didn't start where I wanted it and had the gate in the wrong place! I called the company and spoke to the estimator to make sure that someone would give me 24 hours notice when the installers would be there, I also asked how much it would be to get another gate. The estimator said that it would be $100. So I asked him to include that in the order. I was called on Saturday to let me know that the installers would be there on Monday as requested. The installers showed up on time and we went over the post and gate placements and everything was installed to my delight. Then I got the bill. The extra gate had not cost $100, but $142. Now, in the grand scheme of things, $42 difference is not a huge amount, but it turns out that when the estimator had said it would be $100 he didn't include, extra concrete for the post, tax or the "gate hanging fee". Even if he couldn't have estimated the extra tax or concrete, he sure should have included the "gate hanging fee" into the second quote. I called and complained and he did remove the gate hanging fee from the invoice (which is something in the neighborhood of $20-$25) so he made it as right as he could. Advice for people who use this company: Ask for the drawing of the work to be provided and check it over. If you are picky like me, make sure that you are home to receive the installers and verify placement. Also, make sure if you add any work that all potential costs are detailed.

It went very well. The estimate was done quickly, installation followed in approximately two weeks, the two man crew was diligent and extremely experienced, and the job was done without haste, neatly and best of all, looks great.

Estimator and workers very polite, but the the several times they showed up to work they found more to replace than the estimator had discovered. Money we did not expect to spend. All anticipated costs should be given at the estimate so homeowner can get more bids! My main gripe is that over last winter some of the posts shifted when the ground froze and the gate would no longer latch. Ground shifting with freeze is not their fault, but I have called the office 3 times this year (2014) beginning in the spring and asked them to repair the repair. The office person takes my info but no one has shown up to fix. The last time I called she had no record of my calls! The gate is currently secured with a bungee but our young dog has escaped several times. Now the ground is freezing again and still no repair. Companies should stand behind their work.

They started on7/2/2014 and completed on 7/4/2014. They arrived when they said they would, we're very curtious and friendly. They listened to our wishes for the installation of the gates and respected the landscaping(flowers, plants, and shrubs).

Nice, fence is nice and straight, work was completed in 1 day and the fellow was very polite. I highly recommend this company. Material is solid.

All fence companies seem to have a minimum charge. They were about the same price as other companies. I chose them because they have been in business for many years and are reliable.

Jim, estimator was very professional and personable. Installers were on time and worked all day to install new fence. Finished the job next day. Did a good job cleaning up. Quality of this six foot dog eared fence is better than neighbors, heavier boards and posts. Wanted to give A+

The estimator was responsive and wrote up a quote relatively quickly. He mailed the quote and also sent a copy to my email per my requests. We waited a few months before deciding to go ahead and he still honored the original quote even though it had technically expired. Once we paid our deposit, it took a couple of weeks for the fence to be installed, but they were very upfront about their backlog and did deliver well within thier commitment. Crew was courteous and followed my instruction. They cleaned up after themselves well. They did hit a sprinkler line when installing a post. The crew did bring it to our attention instead of pretending it didn't happen, however they left it to me to do the repair. I felt the price was reasonable.

Although it took a few days for the salesman to call, when he did, he was able to come out immediately and give me a very detailed estimate within 24 hours. The fence removal and install was scheduled for about five weeks out. However, within a week I received a call from the salesman and he asked if the work could be done the next day. I agreed. The installation crew arrived promptly and was very willing to work with me to make certain my dogs' needs were attended to. The project was finished within a day and one half. The quality of the materials and workmanship was top notch. The only reason I did not award an A for responsiveness was that it took several days after I call them for a salesman to contact me. However, after I was contacted, the responsiveness was A+. Also, the price was a little higher than other estimates, but the price was reasonable as the quality of the materials used were superior to materials proposed in the other fence companies' estimates.

It went great. they were here early and worked all day. It took 2 days and they fixed it so my dog could still go outside. I had a 6' ft. on the back, so they did the sides for me. When I can afford the back I will let them do it. That is the only fence she can still go over now.

Overall it went well and we were pleased with the finished product. However at one point the line of one side of the fence looked crooked. We voiced our concern and were met with resistance from one of the workers. He insinuated that we didn't know what we were talking about. After walking up and down the crooked side and carefully looking at it from all angles we politely told him that we wouldn't be comfortable with him leaving it like that. He begrudgingly corrected the line of the posts.

Filled out contact form online and was contacted one day later. When contacted by salesperson he confirmed a few requests and examined property same day. I received the email quote about 2 hours later. Called salesperson back next day to change some details of the estimate and was emailed revised estimate very promptly. Mailed deposit and work was completed very quickly and very professionally one week later. Quality of new fence is very good and workers were very good about not damaging property and even reinforced an arbor that needed to be removed and relocated. Overall very good, very hassle free experience. Price is a little high, but lead time, and quality of work is worth it. You pay for what you get with this company.

Overall, it was a positive experience. The gentlemen delivering the supplies were friendly and courteous, and answered all questions posed to them.

The fence came out beautifully. It looks like a wood fence. The person who did the estimate told me how to find the manufacturer's web site which allowed us to sample the look of the fence by clicking on different options. The work was done quickly and professionally. The installers asked if we would like them to close the slight gap between the garage and the fence (which was there with the old fence), then came back a few days later and closed it attractively with a piece of the matching lattice. There was no extra charge for this! It did take a while -4 weeks or so- after our initial order to have the work done, but we did order it during the busy spring season.

Our old fence was falling down, so we decided to replace it completely. Our experience with Marleau Hercules was extremely positive, from start to finish. The estimator came right out, and was professional and knowledgeable. We got on the calendar, and they came when they said they would. The workers (two of them) obviously knew what they were doing. They did the job perfectly and professionally. It only took two and a half days to do everything. And it looks great. I actually can't imagine how they could have been any better. Everyone involved was professional, courteous, and competent. I recommend this company 100%.

After contacting them twice within a 10 day window I received no estimate nor did I even get contacted with a time or date for a potential contact for an estimate. All the lady on the phone would say is," Sir, I contacted the men in the field and told them you need an estimate." To be fair....maybe they are soooo good they don't need my business. A phone call back telling me that they couldn't get to me would have been nice.

I called and the estimator was at my home within a few days. An estimate was emailed to me and I sent in my downpayment (1/3 of the total estimate) and my job was put on the scheduling list. Due to an unusual amount of rain and a scheduling backlog, the actual installation wasn't scheduled for 3 weeks but this was within the original window given at the time of the estimate. The installation of the fence took less than a day to complete. The fence is wonderful! It exceeds my expectations in terms of quality and appearance. I am extremely happy with the finished product.
