Service man was a little rude and expected me to understand everything he was saying without an explanation but service was good

The whole team was professional and easy to work with. The price was reasonable and they even offered to match the price from other quotes. They provided a cell phone # for after hours sales questions. They were knowledgeable of the products they sell and made recommendations that made sense to us. The ability to control the thermostat from my smart phone was worth the $85 add on price.

Jim the repairman came out and was very polite and professional. It was a midnight emergency call after we called the gas company and they said there was a leak and shut off service. Jim was able to come out within the hour after a big snow storm the previous days. He assessed the problem but unfortunately did not have the part that night to replace it. He came back the next morning with the part and repaired the leak within an hour. Lucky for me the part was under warranty. I paid about what I expected to for emergency service.

The furnace was installed incorrectly and they will not come back and fix their work and do it the right way. They say they install furnaces like this all around the city, and that's not right.

The service rep conducted work professionally. Showed the burnt wires that needed to be replaced on the compressor. Walked me thru the diagnostic testing points as he was performing them. The test and inspect service was also done on the furnace as well as the cooling equipment. He performed the work within 1-1/2 hours.

We received a Valpak coupon for Mand M and were in need of an A/C tune-up on our recently purchased home. We contacted Mand M and were given an appointment between 1-5pm for an upcoming date shortly before the major heat of June/July. On the scheduled date, I waited until 5pm and there was no sign of the technician or phone call from anyone letting us know that he/she was running behind. Therefore, I called the Mand M office at 5:15 to check on the status of our call only to be informed that they were unaware we had an appointment. I understand that these things happen, so I just offered to reschedule for another date. After setting up another date for service, the scheduler called me back about 10 minutes later to ask if I still needed assistance that day. I told her that the rescheduled time would be fine for us and there was no emergency. Immediately after I got off the phone, the technician showed up in our driveway and said that he was there to repair our A/C unit, but that it would be $100/hour because it was after hours. I told him that I only needed a cleaning and that I had an appointment that was for 1-5, so I would not pay that rate. Due to the confusion, I called the Mand M office the next day and wanted to confirm that they had our correct information for the rescheduled visit. It turns out that they did not. They had our phone number attached to another individual's account and address. They also had us scheduled for a service we did not request. Needless to say, it was a bizarre mix-up. When the tech finally did arrive on the rescheduled date, he showed up shortly before 5pm and indicated that our a/c unit was leaking and would likely need replaced. Therefore, he set up another appointment (again about a week later) to come out and repair the unit. When he came back, he ran a quick test and determined that the problem was not the evaporator coil (as he had expected), but was in a connection on the back of the outside unit. He fixed that, then cleaned the system as intended (despite having us worried that we were going to have make a major budget shift to account for the cost of resoldering, etc.). We were happy it was a far less expensive issue and that our a/c unit worked great all summer long. However, we were not as satisfied with the run around we received from a seemingly disorganized office.

Circuit board blew out on my 20+ year old furnace. I was still able to heat the house by tricking the system into turning on so I was NOT without heat and I was NOT in an emergency situation. Just clarifying that Mand M did NOT leave me without heat. They did everything they could to help me out. If I remember correctly everything could have been rushed but it would have cost more and I didn't need it that badly. It took a couple days to get the new circuit board and it was installed as expected. Price seemed a bit high but maybe not, I'm not really sure, therefore a B on the price. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Poor communication, technician hardly ever wanted to explain what is going on. Dishonest, charged for a service that was not need to complete the diagnostic, yet the service that I was charged for was not done. Unprofessional, hang up on me several times just because I was trying to understand why he wanted to do. Poor workmanship, told me that he will top off the refrigerant since the claim was denied, I came back home and found out that the AC was not working, the technician did not feel that I was worthy to know that the AC will be left off and that he will not do any more work on it since the claim was denied. Left the place messy and just abandoned the job, did not top off the fluid and did not even call me to let me know that he did not. Overall, poor in every angle you look at, dishonest, beware of the scam if they want to fool you into doing more as and quot;necessary and crucial to complete the joband quot;. There are many trust worthy heating services out there, you can make a better use of your dollars. P.S. I gave this company a notice about their poor service and did not receive any feedback or apology, also disputed the charge with the credit card company. Do not use those guys.

I was very happy with them. They bought it in, I had some complaints that were minor, and they came out the next day, and took care of it.

Mand M Heating and Cooling Inc were recommended to us. Most of them are very,very helpful. They got here, did what they had to go and gone in minutes. They were very responsive.

Everything went well and my furnace was promptly fixed and operable!

They were out within a day of our call and submitted a price within a day after. That was a shock because we had multiple people out and because of the size of the job we never heard from them again or the bid came weeks after the visit at a much higher price. The whole team was VERY professional on all levels. The men who came to the house spent the whole week working and installing and both made me very comfortable though the whole process. They explained everything to us and worked with us in every way. We highly recommend them!!

They were responsive. They talked to me and let me know the different options. The overall experience was very good. I would use their services again in the future.

They were prompt and professional. Everything has been fine since the service. They were honest. They were in and out.

I may have checked them out on Angie's List but I could not be sure. They may have quoted me a price. I had several people come out and talk to me about what needed to be done. It was more than $3000 as I had them do some extra things like re-routing a pipe and installing a new filter pack. They had to install the humidifier. It would look expensive for someone who was comparing apples to apples but it was not. Their price was quite reasonable compared to the other service providers, if everything was taken into account. They seemed competent. Their employee, Shane, that came out to do the estimate was very knowledgeable and he had come up through the ranks. He used to be an installer and now was a sales or a customer service person. It was very clear that because of his installer background, he knew exactly what needed to to take place and the difficulty of installing that sort of a thing. That helped as a lot of people who come out would not have that background. He did and I liked that. He knew what it was instead of just selling the product. He looked at the available space and suggested few changes that other people had not even thought about in terms of re-routing the pipes that the furnace was attached to. He was reasonable in wanting to do those things. I appreciated the fact that he knew exactly what he was talking about. I was very happy with them. Their quality of work was very nice. They did a great deal of installation every year and seemed more competent in getting the job done than the other service providers that I talked to.

We thought the repair went well, but we never seemed to get enough heat into the warehouse. The next winter, we had a customer of ours who owns an HVAC company out to reroute the gas lines and move the heater. When he was moving them, he noticed that the blower on the heater had been turned to the "Low" setting. He switched the heater to "High" after reconnecting the gas line, and fired it up. It made the same exact sound as it had before. We asked him to look at the heater to see what was going on this time, or what had been done to repair it before. He said the screws were still rusted, and there were no new parts or fittings, so it didn't look like anything had been done to it besides turning the heater to the "Low" fan speed setting. We replaced the heater with a more efficient unit that heats the warehouse much better than the old one, but it still hangs in our warehouse as a reminder of how NOT to serve our customers.

I hired them last year and some of their work failed after they did some preventative maintenance. After I called to complain about it they gave me a free year of service for preventative maintenance and agreed to pay for any materials and labor for anything that would need service or repair over the next year. You never hear about a company going that much above and beyond. They are reasonably priced, maybe a little bit more expensive than some others. You are getting a reputable firm that's been in business for a long time so it's a good value. The quality and responsiveness is excellent. They have a girl who calls to confirm that they are on their way for their appointments, or if they will be late they call to let you know.

M and M provided documentation stating that the necessary repairs were made and that the furnace had been 'cleaned and tuned'. The bill reflected these services. However, when I turned on the furnace this Fall, I was surprised to find that the fan cut in and out every 30 seconds or so. I am a young woman and don't know much about furnaces, so I called M and M back and reported the problem. After some persuasion, the service manager agreed to send someone to look at it without charging me a service fee and stated that since they had 'cleaned and tuned' it this summer, that I would only be charged for a part if any repair was needed. However, when the man got there, he gave a quote of $197 to replace the one part. I called the service manager and asked her to adjust it to only the cost of the part, as she had stated. She insisted that this was for the part and no labor was included. However, when I spoke with the repair man, he told me that he looks the price up in a book which includes the part and installation and that he could not quote me just the cost of the part. I called the service manager back and explained to her that I was not happy that this problem was not fixed during the initial repair since I would have been included as part of the purchase contract. Now, however, I have to pay the full cost because they did not detect what I understand to be a simple problem. I also explained the discrepancy between her claim and what the repair man told me. She explained to me that the problem did not exist when they serviced it initially. I asked her how this part broke while the furnace sat unused. She explained that it is possible, but then began talking about difficulties in detecting the fan issue since it is integrated with the cooling system (a/c). I told her that I did not have any a/c, so she told me that it was probably too warm to detect the fan problem on June 11. What she did not know is that I had consulted another heating and cooling company and they told me that it would have had to be very warm for that to occur. When I explained this to her, she became nasty and it was clear to me that M and M was not going to stand by their work, so I did not continue with the conversation, which was quickly turning ugly.

When my hot water heater stopped working I called M and M Heating and Cooling. They charged me close to $100 for the service call. When he came out, he diagnosed a problem with the fan motor on my power vent. To replace the power vent motor assembly, he wanted close to $600. I can replace the entire water heater for close to that amount. Mand M is a rip off. DO NOT USE THEM!

They always send letters when it is time for the service to remind us that we need to get the units serviced. They are always great and keep them running wonderfully
