They told us at first they would not be able to get to our project for about 3 months. We were willing to wait since we liked the reviews they had on angies list. As soon as they were able to start, they estimated about a week to do the job. It took an additional 2 work days. It was a very slight inconvenience, but we preferred to have the work done right.. The mortar needed to set and the heating system tested before they could install the tiles which required more time than anticipated. The workers were very professional and did an excellent job. We had to wait a few weeks before we could try heating the tiles. We finally tried it out on a very cool day and it worked great. It was so wonderful to walk on the heated tiles. I really love it and can't wait to use it this Fall and winter. The final cost was only $300 over the initial quote due to decorative tiles and vents but still within the range of what we expected this to cost.

I had the ice guard kit. They did a great job. very fast . I had a 4 mam crew here.

Two men from Jacob's Ladder with roofing experience did come out and gave me their opinion on the causes, remedy and approximate cost of the roof repair project on my home. They were very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. I asked them to please arrange to have an official estimate sent to me. I followed up that day with a live phone call to Jacob's ladder reiterating wanting an estimate sent to me.. I was told this would be done. This was over 3 weeks ago. I never received the estimate. I Followed up with a voicemail on August 5th re-requesting the estimate. I never received the estimate or a reply. I have received past emails from them so I know they have my correct email address. I am very disappointed. I had Jacob's Ladder install a new attic ladder for me earlier in the summer (review posted) and they did an outstanding job and I looked forward to giving them much more business regarding repairs for my home. I realize they are very busy but not following up with customers is a good way to lose good customers.

Before I hired Jacob's Ladder, I got estimates from other contractors. Jacob's ladder provided the most detailed estimate. It spelled out exactly what they would do and for what price. None of the other estimates were as precise and clear. They were always on time. They were honest about how long it would be before they could start. The price stayed within estimate. The repair looks great! Jacob's Ladder knowledgeable and professional. They do excellent work. I would hire them again!

Fast, friendly, efficient and the price was reasonable.

He arrived and we looked at everything and explained problems I saw. He proceeded to get his tools and went right to work. He cleaned all gutters and washed them and checked how they were draining. He then checked all downspouts and cleaned as needed.

The work was done efficiently and quickly. In fact, I called yesterday, and he came out and completed the work in a timely fashion today!

They were very prompt in returning my call regarding getting an initial estimate. Mike who did the estimate was very knowledgeable and professional. Their price was lower then expected. Only had to wait 2 weeks or less for them to perform the job. The installers were on time, friendly and professional. They also examined some issues I'm having with a leaking roof and gave me their professional input on the causes. They didn't charge for going up on my roof and examining my worn shingles and determining the problems. I would highly recommend Jacob's Ladder services for anything needing repaired or replaced around your home.

They did a nice job, but on the expensive side.

Everyone was easy to work with and very flexible. We are very please with how our custom cabinets turned out. They turned an unusable space into a functional space. Our only complaint is that we would have liked to see better communication between owners and workers but when I approached the owners about this issue they were very apologetic and were eager to make us satisfied customers. We have worked with several contractors over the years and they are one of our favorites. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

They told me what they were going to do. They answered all my questions. They were very thorough. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a very good experience.

As soon as the weather was appropriate for outside work, I received a call from Mike who set a date for the repairs. He sent two men out to do the repairs. The flower box was not part of our original request but once they began the work, they found that the wood was all rotten and that within a few months it would totally fall apart. They talked with us and contacted Mike. We got an estimate over the phone. The men worked hard all day and got the work done. We were pleased with the service and will use them in the future. Very professional, cleaned up the mess and hauled away the debris.

The flex pipe from the fan to the vent was to be replaced, but the worker reused the old flex attached to the fan. Checking out the vent fan operation I noticed there was not much air being drawn into the fan. So I looked into the attic and noticed they used the old flex pipe. I called Jacobs Ladder and told them what I found and they came out the next day and replaced the flex pipe. They found that a birds nest was in the old flex pipe. They apologized for not following the work order and there boss made certain they follow work instructions in the future. The workers were very curtious and friendly. There work was excellent and they left the work area clean.

The man came to my home on time and surveyed the job. Went to hardware store to buy hardware he needed to fix the door. Took less than 30 minutes and cleaned up any mess that was made when he was ready to leave. He also asked my husband and myself to test the door. My husband and I were very pleased with his work. He mentioned the company he works for does small jobs just like ours and all major remodeling projects.

they did quick job rebuilding faucet saving me money from having to replace the whole fixture. When dirt in the line broke lose and clogged the shower head, they came back out and fixed that also for no charge

They did a good job on time and for the price quoted. They also fixed some minor issues with the bathroom wall. Attic duct fix was sub-optimal and they came back promptly to fix it when informed.

We would use Jacob's Ladder again in a heartbeat, and are actually in the process of pricing out more work for them! The handyman at our house was prompt, polite, informative, quick and efficient.

Contacted them at 9AM, explained what I needed done and they were there br noon and completed the job by 1PM. They were very professional and did even more than I expected! I would definitely use them again for any repairs I need around the house.

All went well. Solved our problem of freezing cold bathtub. Workers were very polite.

I was exceptionally pleased with Jacob's Ladder. We had a couple of small jobs that needed to be addressed and not only were they willing to do the small jobs, they were able to accommodate my schedule, which required a quick turnaround. I have had many difficulties trying to get a handyman to come out for small jobs - most only want to deal with bigger projects. So, you can imagine my delight when Jacob's Ladder was willing to help. On the day of the job, Jacob (the owner) arrived with his assistant and completed the job in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Both men were very pleasant and professional. They did an exceptional job and cleaned up afterward. Thank goodness for Jacob's Ladder - especially for people like me who don't have the tools or the time to tackle the small stuff. I will hire them again for my handyman needs and I highly recommend them to everyone.

The estimate was performed in early June, but there was no communication on our repair until the beginning of August! We found out later that it was due to one of the partners in the firm falling ill. Once they contacted me again, they preformed the repairs quickly, efficiently, and expertly. We can't tell there were any repairs ever needed. It looks perfect and has sealed the area of the eaves that were leaking. While I wasn't happy with the lack of communication and the time it took to get back to me, I was thrilled with the results of the job they preformed. They were polite, efficient, and experienced. I'd be happy to recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Jacob actually came out on a Sunday after playing phone tag. I was able to explain problems with water over flowing gutters in specific locations and what could be options for improving removing water away from foundation. The work was completed in a timely manner and I am just waiting for another heavy rain to see if problem has been solved.

Immediate contact, respectful if opportunity to be offered the work. But the company did not serviced my area. The face that contact was made was pleasing to me, as it let me know I had to continue searching, rather than waiting.

Stacking of washer and dryer went well, removing utility sink to garage went well, placement of new base kitchen cabinet where the utility sink was went well. Our only disappointment was the bad job that was done in repairing the drywall where there had been nail holes and where the baseboard had been removed and then repainted. Workers were punctual and respectful of our home. The original estimate given stated that we would have to wait approximately 4 to 6 weeks before the service would be performed which was agreeable to us. However after 6 weeks had passed I had to initiate the call to see when I could expect the service to be performed. Maybe they should consider a better follow up method when they schedule the jobs. Other than that we were pleased with all the work that was done with the exception of the repair of the drywall. When the owner, Jacob, learned of the drywall problem, he contacted us directly and offered to have the repair done properly.

The workers were professional, friendly and efficient.
