We were extremely pleased with the work done for us by Jacob's Ladder. They were professional, good to communicate with, and went above and beyond in locating and securing an odd-sized shower for us. The workmen were polite, did an excellent job with the installation, and left the area in immaculate condition each day. We strongly recommend this company.

Jacob's team did a great job. The work spanned three weeks and involved a number of different specialists. The work was completed ahead of schedule and below budget. I plan to use Jacob's Ladder for additional work; they are a top-notch outfit.

They were quick to come out and look at the various jobs. They told me they would have their drywall guy contact me which he never did. So I called them back to let them know no one contacted me. They said another guy would be in contact with me and he was. Then after I met with the drywall guy they called me back and gave me a verbal quote and said they would email me the quote. I said I would be i would let them know once I discuss with my spouse. I called the next day left a mssg and then I called and got a hold of them and they said they would call me back in an hour. I called the following day and left a message. It's been over a week and no contact. I find that unprofessional and unresponsive.

Jeremy did an awesome job and was very professional throughout. He had some computer problems that caused a bit of a slow start during the quoting process - but overcame them. In the end he cut out the bottom of the cabinet, which had been ruined by water leakage, and put in two pieces of pressure-treated wood as replacement. While he was under the sink he noticed a couple of badly done plumbing fixes (probably the cause of the water in the first place) and that the HVAC duct was not at all connected to the vent (2" gap) - he fixed both while he was at it. I would not hesitate to recommend Jacob's Ladder and Jeremy.

They did what they promised. The old door frame was removed and they installed a new door frame and a door.

This was the first phase of a planned kitchen remodel, and I couldn't be more pleased. Jacob and his team were professional, punctual, and forthcoming in every way. I've already advised him I will be scheduling the remaining work (as well as requesting quotes on some exterior work) before this month is out.

All work was done in a very timely manner. Kept all areas cleaned and tidy, no messes to clean up and very considerate and careful with all furnishings during painting.

A month went by and I never received a bid or a call back. I called and left a message a month or so later. I got a call next day from the gentleman who did the bid. Apparently he lost it or the information. He said he would get it to me and I still never received any call or email. And no one called to check and see if I ever received it. The guy who came to bid was nice, people on the phone were nice. I was planning to use them for all the work I needed done. But never got a bid, so I moved on to another provider. I had high hopes since they had good reviews. Needless to say I was disappointed.

Jeremy did an excellent job installing all of the doors, including new hardware. The old doors were very worn out, and the new doors are a huge improvement in both appearance and efficiency. Jeremy also did a great job replacing the floor covering in my small entry area, laying vinyl strips that I had left over from a previous project. When finished. all of the old materials were removed and the area was left cleaned up. Mike from Jacob's Ladder followed up by phone on the same day to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. I'm very happy with the results, and I'm hoping to have them back sometime in the coming months to work on a few more projects.

I was originally told that the work would be started 4-5 weeks after my proposal was given. They were running about 1 1/2 weeks behind but the owner called me twice to keep me filled in about the delay. I personally think they did a GREAT job.The workers were prompt. They were efficient. They were courteous. All work areas were left neat and clean. I was told that it may be a two day job but they actually completed it in one day.

All folks involved from company were professional and maintained a great line of communication.

From the beginning we were very pleased with everyone we met or spoke with from Jacob's ladder. Jacob was very prompt about getting us estimates as well as sharing different ideas for the bathroom which would save us some money in the remodeling process (which we were very glad to hear). He was great about working with us on our choices of tile, vanity, tub, etc. And. they were actually able to start the project a week earlier than I thought! The two workmen who completed the job for us were great. They explained everything they were doing, asked questions to clarify and make certain they were doing what we wanted with the remodel. They were always polite, cleaned up everyday and always let us know what they had finished each day and wanted us to come and take a look and check that their work each day had met our expectations. After the many nightmare stories I had heard from neighbors about their experiences with contractors remodeling bathrooms, kitchens, etc., I thought "Wow... I am so glad I found these guys". I would recommend Jacob's ladder to anyone. In fact, the best recommendation I can give is to tell you that I will definitely have them back next spring to remodel the other upstairs bathroom!

Jacob, the owner, came to our house to give us a quote on a small kitchen remodel. WE NEVER HEARD BACK. I called the company twice to see what the status of our quote was. Someone from the company called me back and stated that they were behind in getting quotes done. That was 2 months ago and haven't heard anything since! I have now had my kitchen remodeling project on hold for two months waiting for them to get back to me on a job that they came out to quote back in September. I cannot tell you how unhappy I am with their service. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Now I have to start this process all over again. It is beyond frustrating.

These guys are wonderful! Jeremy, who also did the work, came out and gave me an estimate and we set up a date. He came back when he said he would, worked very efficiently and cleaned up when he was done. I now have a functioning gate and could not be more thrilled. So many times I have called "handymen", have gotten estimates and then they've never shown up to do the work. But Mike and Jeremy are true professionals.

How did it go? One word!! EXCELLENT!!! Great communication from scheduling an estimate to finishing the job. Jacob and Mike were great to deal with and according to the wife the crew was very thorough and professional. All my concerns were addressed and the roof looks great. Won't hesitate to use them in the future. Thanks GUYS!! PS-When I told my father who I was using he told me a neighbor of his used Jacobs Ladder and had nothing but good recommendations about them. As of now I totally agree!!

It went well, he was very upfront, honest, and professional. I think they are retrubable company, but due to this they are very busy. Very nice and professional all around.

I am beyond pleased with the finished work and the manner in which it was executed. The guys showed up when they said they would. They made me aware of what they were doing and when. They left my house clean and undisturbed. It was refreshing to see the pride they took in their work. Most definitely a top notch company that I will use again in the future. It is a pleasure to support this local business. I would highly recommend them for any household repair or remodel work.

,First I must qualify myself. I am a retired Hospital Engineer with 35 years of managing construction projects, big and small. I am not easily impressed. This company was fantastic! Excellent communications from Jacob and Mike. They kept me informed every step of the way. They scheduled the work within the time frame I could work with and the crew was at my house at 7 AM. They stripped 2 layers of roofing, etc and the 2 very old skylights and put on a new roof and skylights. The roofing team was amazing and fun to watch. 12 men working VERY hard. Each man had his functions and just did them without the boss telling them. If he had not introduced himself to me I could not have told the boss from the workers, he worked right beside them. They stripped and replaced my whole roof, loaded the dumpster and cleaned the yard of debris and were gone by 2:30--finished. My roof covers an 1800 square foot house and attached 2.5 garage so doing it all in one day was really impressive. Yes the roof looks great, nice straight lines, troughs put in correctly. And the nicest part was they were low bidder of 4 companies, by a lot! If you don't give this young man a chance at your work, you are missing out.

I had them originally do a quote a few years ago, but funding the project fell through. They were prompt, courteous, polite, and very knowledgable at the original meeting (also one of the lower quotes, not the lowest), so I asked them if they could redo the quote based on the original specs. It wasn't that much different than the one before, so I went ahead and scheduled. Th project took a bit longer than expected due to weather conditions. With a full tear off, a chance of rain is a chance of raining into your house ... so they had to wait until weather cooperated. Otherwise, the roofing was done to perfection. It looks amazing and I no longer have pieces of shingle falling off the roof (that's how bad it was!). Overall, it was a good experience and I'd definitely use them again.

Very well - took awhile to finish because of wet weather, but they did not forget or neglect the job.

We called them and left a message and then we called them again when we didn't hear from them and talked to a woman who said someone would be calling me back that afternoon. We never heard from them.

Excellent. All of his crews and their crew leaders were courteous, did the job with excellence and when the work was completed, all construction debris was cleaned up and carried away.
