I could not be more pleased. Jacob and his crew were very professional and very polite. They asked me what I wantedbefore they got the new door handle and installed it promptly. My dog love one of the workers and he was very tolerant of the intrusion when working under the sink! I would never ask antone to come and fix anything but Jacob and his workmen. They didn't waste time and the job was done in a day. They just had to come back the next day to check on the roof. I have had alot of work done before but will only call Jacob from now on.

As usual, the job was handled in excellent fashion. Bob and Joe showed up on time, got to work, and finished all of the jobs quickly. Bob made the extra effort to make sure the exterior door was repaired properly. He could have just taken a short-cut to move the latch but he took the extra time to level the door first. They cleaned up after themselves and removed all of the job related debris. I have used Jacobs Ladder several times and have recommended the business to my friends. The work is always done quickly and professionally. The crew is always polite, knowledgeable and hard-working. It is great to work with a company that follows through, shows up as scheduled and performs quallity work. Jacobs Ladder is the best!

The experiance with Jacob was wonderful, he was very easy and comfortable to work with throughout each and every project he helped me out with. I would recommend him to anyone out there who needs a good honest guy to help you out and know that he is being honest. This guy should be given a Triple Super Service Award.

The lock, part of the door knob, would not unlock nor would the door know work. We could not open the door. I thought that just a repair was needed. I called Jacob's ladder. Someone came out promptly, looked at the mechanism and told me that I needed a know lock, knob. He gave me the choice of buying it myself or him getting it. I chose to buy it myself, and he installed it. He was very professional and did a good job.

The work was completed in a day. The work was of high quality.

I contacted Jacob's Ladder to get an estimate to fix some leaking roof vents and condensation within a bathroom exhaust fan. The estimate looked good and the work was performed in January 2013. The vents no longer leak and they replaced the original non insulated exhaust fan attic ductwork with insulated ductwork that would prevent condensation from forming and being trapped and draining back to the exhaust vent. It has been working perfectly and there is no sign of condensation returning to the exhaust fan! Jacob and his employees are very polite, professional, and communicated with me at every step along the process. The work was done in a timely manner and the cost was exactly what they said it would be. No hidden charges. I highly recommend this firm and I would definitely do business with them in the future.

The project entailed remodeling my kitchen. Jacob?s Ladder Handyman Services installed the porcelain floor tile throughout the dining room, kitchen and laundry and the ceramic and glass back splash. Specifically, it was his excellent crew of Bob and Jeff that completed the project. What a fantastic team they are. They were very meticulous, professional and respectful of my home. They saw and anticipated every aspect of the job. They consulted me on design and installation considerations throughout the whole process. I also had them remove the counter top in preparation for the new one. They worked with the Counter top Shop on scheduling the removal so I was only without a sink for 3 ½ days. (Late Monday counter tops removed, Tuesday new counter top installed, Thursday morning plumbing hooked back up. Thanks, Jacob) They have also installed a new toilet, fixed 2 leaky faucets, repositioned kitchen cabinet, installed over the stove mcrowave, fixed dryer connection, fixed door lock, replaced 1 GFP receptacle, 2 light switches; they can do it all. Well almost all. I needed to have the 220 line for the stove moved and some drywall work done. They could have attempted to do it but knowing that it would not meet their standards for excellence, they suggested I find a professional. Because I trust them so much, I asked them to contact an electrician and a drywaller for me. I received very quick and excellent service. Thumbs-up for their honesty on their limitations. Because of their commitment to excellence, I am already lining up additional projects for this spring. I do have to warn you, they are in high demand. I hesitate to give them such a glowing report because that means I may have to get in line to get my projects complete. But trust me, they are worth the wait.

All work was completed in a very professional and knowledgable manner. The owner Jacob Lewandowski is very personable and accomodating. VERY customer focused with a desire to please. His estimate was very competative as well. Our request for what we wanted done changed several times and he accommodated us without an issue. The workers were very polite and neat and knowledgeable.. They were very careful to protect the flooring in the work area and the path through the house to get to the work area. They cleaned up every night before leaving. Any concerns we had were addressed immediately. The work was started on the date promised and completed with in the stated time frame. If I had any complaints at all it was that communication, as the work progressed, was not what I would have liked but, this was a vey minor issue and Mr Lewandowski was always reachable by phone. Often it is hard even to get someone out for an estimate let alone completing the work. Indeed the last company I had out (to lay a ceramic floor in out laundry room) collected the check for the work and never returned to complete a few small trim details as promised. And he was rated A+ by the BBB. Overall I was extremely pleased with the work that Jacob's Ladder did for me and would even go so far as to say It was the most positive experience I have had with this type of service in recent memory. I will be contacting him for other projects in the future. Dealing with this company was an absolute pleasure and I would not hesitate to recommend Jacob's Ladder to anyone.

The did a fantastic job. Very professional and cleaned up deris. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am very happy with the work they did and would use them again

Workers arrived on time and started job right away. They had to leave partway into the job, and returned three hours later which was worrisome, but they finished the job upon return.

I have been searching for a Handyman for a while and finally joined Angie's list. I saw all the great reviews and satisfied customers with Jacobs Handyman services, so I gave them a call since it said they serviced my area, but I was quite a distance away. I contacted them a couple of times to arrange an appointment, once set Jacob showed up and I told him what I needed to have done. He gave me an estimate after a bit of time, I said go ahead, he said it would take about 3 weeks or so before they could start. The work started two weeks beyond that, but I was ok with that and they kept me informed about their workload. Once the work started, they met their estimate of 2.5/3 days and the estimated price was the same. The work was done as I expected and is appears to be of good quality. In all I think some communications could have been better, but compared to other businesses in this segment these guys were pretty outstanding, they showed up on time for the estimate and the job . They correctly estimated the time frame and were courteous and attentive and focused on the work while on site. I have a couple further projects upcoming which I will probably use these guys for again.

Jacob was very flexable with working with our time line. We have used Jacob on other projects and he has always worked with us. His team showed up on time and worked hard. The foam board that was to be placed on the outside walls wasn't available in the thickness stated on the quote. Jacob used a thicker board at no additional cost. They did a great job of clean up and Jacob called a few days later to make sure we were happy with the work. I will use Jacob again.

Jacob explained in detail what he would do and followed up with a detailed written estimate online so my wife could download it and send it back with our approval. The workmen cleaned up wherever they had been, they worked consistently, arrived when they said they would and were very polite. They handled themselves in a very professional matter. What really impressed us was what happened afterward. There was a small rust stain on the linoleum that both the workman and my wife thought would be covered by the toilet. After the toilet was replaced a small section of the spot did show through. The workman suggested using "Iron Out." My wife tried it but it didn't work. Jacob came out a tried to get the spot out to no avail. He then sent the workmen back to raplce the whole section of linoleum under the toilet at no extra charge. The workmen were very apologetic for the inconvenience and the final result was beautiful - no stain and no trace of a seam anywhere. We would recomment this company to anyone that needs the services of a handyman. These are people of integrity, which is a welcome quality in these times.

I would definitely use them again. They came out promptly for estimate and emailed me the estimate in a day or so. The work was done when we set it up and when it came to pay there were no surprises. Very nice and professional.

I called, Jacob came out - we discussed the gig and then he emailed estimate which was spot on with price. They picked up all materials except the light fixture and ceiling fans I had purchased and took care of everything - just like they did on their last project with me. You have no worries with this team.

Once we had all figured out, things went fine. I received the quote, and plan on contacting Jacobs Ladder to have some of the work done in my home.

workmen arrived promptly. They methodically went over each window and corrected the problems. They also corrected problem in eaves trough. Upon completion, they invited inspection, explained everything and gave us a copy of the work slip.

They were on time and very proffesional. took time to fully answer questions I had during the job. When they were finished they cleaned up so you would'nt even know they had been here. Asked if I had any more questions or concerns and if I was satisfied before they left. When I need more work done I will call on Jacobs ladder, and I would recommend these guys to all my friends.
