Father & Son Building and Remodeling

Roger Stuart failed to fix the deficiencies pointed out by the Frenchtown inspector. Roger Stuart would not return my phone calls and the work permit expired I was left hold the bag with no final inspection and we are unable to refinance our home due Roger Stuart. We spent over 33k on this addition to improve the value of our home but now its an anchor unless I want to pay more money to fix Father and Son's short comings. Take the time to find a better builder.

This was a large project and generally we are happy with the results. Father & Son was one of three companies we received quotes from and they were fairly consistent with the pricing so we felt it was "the right" price for the job. They stayed on budget and communicated with us about the materials to be used and the details of the project. They were respectful of our family's schedule and needs which meant a lot since we were living in the house during the project. The project start date was delayed without communication though and a couple of times we expected workers and no one showed up. The project took longer to complete than we were told due to some delays (weather but also failing to order needed items in a timely fashion). We are happy with the finished product. The addition turned out as designed. Additionally, the crew came back and adjusted, completed, took care of some little details at the end to make us happy. We would recommend them to my neighbors and we have.

Well it seemed to take a long time ....Unfortunately thing still not completely done. The owner of company never rreturned to check if we were satisfied I wouldn't recommend father and son

They were very good with what they did. They came on time. They worked full days and did what they were supposed to do. They called us the day before to tell us what they were going to do the following day. They were hard workers and the crew was easy to get along with. They were good workers. They were very consistent workers and they were here every day.

I would say to be cautious to what they are doing. They jacked it too far that the wall cracked, and it was left that way. I had to fix it myself. It is usually done gradually, and it was too fast and too quick. I was unhappy with that.

I got them through Angie's List. They were excellent. Any problems that we had were addressed immediately. I got answers for and quick call backs on anything that I asked for. We ended up $1200 over the budget from the estimate that they gave us because we wanted additional electrical work. My husband wanted a 220 volts plug and a breaker box. We had so many extra things done in the garage that was not in the estimate and they gave us a fair price for the additional work. The quality of their work was excellent. If we had a concern, the person who was overseeing everything took care of it immediately and I had no complaints. They will be doing some more work for us down the road.
